John 😥 We all knew this storyline was coming but I’m still not ready for it. I’m curious to find out what this ISA mission was about though, and the effects that could have across the canvas. And as much I prefer Marlena to share scenes like this with her family, I didn’t mind Cat being the first one Marlena spoke to about everything and that Cat was there to comfort her. Now, she just needs to have a scene like this with Brady and Belle. And hopefully, Paul. And Marlena remembering the reunion on the pier was really sweet 😊😊 I enjoyed the Stephanie/Sarah and Philip/Xander/Mr. Shin scenes. I’m still liking the way that this storyline is being built up, and how it’s weaving in so many characters and their love lives. This could all be a pretty big mess once it’s finally exposed and I’m here for it. And yes, whoever said Philip looked sloppy af because he didn’t tuck his shirt in was 100% correct 😂😂 But I definitely wasn’t here for Alex’s pity party about Body&Soul and his lack of employment. Like bro, shut up. You never should’ve left Titan in the first place. Bringing him back into the Kiriakis family storylines is the right decision. I have mixed feelings about Joy possibly being pregnant, and her possibly going to work for Titan but I hope it becomes an added dynamic in this storyline. And pushes Stephanie into somebody else’s arms. And yeah, writing Leo like a 20 year old twink on speed will never not be a big mistake. Plus, he will NEVER be Chad’s gay bestie, no matter what Ron wanted us to believe.

I definitely appreciated the messiness of yesterday and the effects that could have across the canvas, particularly on Jacob and Naomi, since he’s a detective and didn’t call it in. And on Chelsea and Martin/Smitty as well. Hopefully, they play every beat and the effects of this play out for a long time. I had mixed feelings about Anita vs. Dani though, since Anita was the one who pretty much forced Dani to go the wedding in the first place. And yeah, in the terms of the acting, Brandon Claybon is still the weak link in the cast. To the point that if I had the choice to pick an actor to replace, I’d pick him without a second thought.

I’m hoping it’ll get a revival once the new writers work starts airing

Well, at least Brucas finally got to Miami 😍😂😂 And yes, agreed that Van did a good job today. I love how Sonny wants his new house to be like Fort Knox, yet there’s a big ass window right in the main room 😂😂 But what was that nonsense with Tracy and Martin? I’m glad that it seems to be building a Tracy/Gio grandma-grandson relationship though. The best surprises always sneak up from behind 😉😂😂

So yeah… everything with Johnny/Chanel/Amy was just as cringe as I thought it was going to be. And all the talk of Nicole was stupid and unnecessary. Hopefully, the new writers realize that playing everything like a big joke is not the way to go. It really undercut everything that happened when Gabi and Jada showed up, which actually could’ve been really good had it not been handcuffed by everything that happened before it. Plus, EJ being such a campy bitch is a big mistake as well. Maybe it’s time to recast lol I was impressed by Johnny though after he found out about Fake Rafe. And just like with BTG, it’s always good to see the child step up and defend their mother. I still say that the fact that Sami’s rape is being treated like an actual rape for the first time in years is not Ron-like. And that it’s possible that that played into his firing as well. Btw, EJ vs. Paulina would be a lot more interesting if that was the thing that caused conflict for Johnny and Chanel. Tate/Holly/Doug III was good as well. Now that Tate knows that Doug III stole the necklace, it could lead to a proper feud/triangle. I’m interesting in seeing what Tate does with that information. And tying it all to his and Sophia’s baby could make this storyline even better.

Agreed. Leaving Dex/EH basically stuck in a bubble with the two worst characters on GH was a huge mistake. He proved, in so many scenes with other characters, that Dex could've been so much more than that.
