Damn… they went far back at the beginning lol. While I enjoyed today, I still think it would’ve worked a lot better if this was Monday’s episode and the shooting had been the big Friday cliffhanger. And I’m still not sure why the actual shooting didn’t take place until the beginning of today as opposed to the end of yesterday. I do appreciate that the aftermath of EJ’s shooting and the mystery of it all was handled well, even though I think that they could’ve slowed it down a little bit too. The make up job was pretty good, and as always, Billy Flynn killed it. And so did Carson Boatman. I hoped that they were going to take this route with Johnny and EJ’s relationship and I’m glad that it seems like they will. I want them to be estranged for a long time. I also liked how they established Ava as a suspect/red herring, but what she said made a lot of sense. As much as I’d prefer that a few other characters be sent packing instead of her, there really is no reason for her to stay in Salem. See ya! But the shoehorning about Rex was really sudden and random though. I understand them wanting to establish Kate as an additional suspect but they really needed to build that up a lot more. All the more reason why they should’ve played this storyline out until Friday. But I am looking forward to this storyline, in general, especially since the fallout is gonna be handled by the new writers. I’d like to see what they’re gonna do with this. And I wonder if they changed any of Ron’s projections/who the shooter is.

How do they expect to believe that the friggin Mayor is besties with the local mob boss and that no one in Port Charles, the media, etc. has a problem with it? Dr. Rolf’s miracle serums are more believable than that 😂😂😂 Aren’t we all? 😊😂😂😂

Derek and Andre have more chemistry with each other than either of them has with Ashley. Andre did look hot though. I’m still Team Hayley and I have no problem with Bill interceding on her behalf over how everyone at the country club is treating her, which I don’t think is right. There’s a big difference between “inconvenient consequences” and grown ass adults acting like bitchy high school mean girls lol. But it is good drama though. And I actually wouldn’t mind Bill blackmailing Vernon and Anita over all of this too. I still have more sympathy for Bill/Hayley than I do for Dani, which has surprised me from the very beginning.

Yeah... this writing for Laura will never not be ridiculous. I'm interested in Emma's crimes though and whatever she did that was sealed by the court. Weaving Gio/Trina/Kai into it could be good as well. The four of them could get mixed up in a summer adventure lol. Gio being there for Emma today was really sweet. And he looked good too I'm really looking forward to Lucas/Marco tomorrow 😊 And to see what happens when Brad finds out 😂 This is one new character that actually has potential lol it's too bad that he's related to Sidwell and Natalia. I still don't care about them. And yeah, is Sidwell's existence some kind of plan to trick the fans into liking Natalia? Because it isn't gonna work 😂

Ehhh... I just think time jumps are weird, and not necessary on soaps, in general. They could've built it up and dragged it out a little longer. And it feels weird to have a Friday cliffhanger on a Wednesday, or in this case, in the first few scenes on a Thursday.

The set up for everything with EJ was the best part of today. Rafe is still a dick though. But I did like Gabi trying to get him to see reason about Shawn and Jada. Brady and Belle’s conversation was good too. His advice to Belle was really nice, even though part of me thinks he’s full of crap and is just too dumb to realize it 😂😂😂 I also enjoyed Johnny and Roman’s conversation, even though I still think that they needed to establish Roman’s anger a little bit better and build it up more. Their scenes, on their own, make this all worth it. Carson Boatman is still doing a really good job. He’s improved as an actor. And I’m still really liking the way they’re treating Sami, as a character. Chanel letting EJ have it was great too and I hope she’s right in telling EJ that Johnny’s never gonna forgive him. The animosity between them is something that really shouldn’t be rushed. And hopefully, once And honestly, I can’t believe I’m saying this; I never thought I would, but where’s Leo? His article is setting off so much stuff right now that he should be a part of it. I don’t get it; he’s so shoehorned into things that he has no business being in but the one time that he’s (possibly) necessary, he’s nowhere to be seen? That’s just bad writing and producing. EJ having him killed would be nice 😂😂😂😂 The cliffhanger was ok, but the time jump was unnecessary. I don’t see why they couldn’t have let this all play out until Friday.

I wish. Is his Netflix show still on? I'd prefer that too. Or at least have John sacrifice his own life in order to kill Orpheus for good. It wouldn't feel right if John dies with Orpheus still alive and living another day to cause trouble. It would almost feel like he beat John and finally got his revenge.

Today was nice, but yeah, Sonny was not necessary. Bro, it doesn't matter how many donations and contributions you make; you're still gonna burn for all eternity 🔥🔥😂 And while I did like the tributes and the historical references, we've all seen the first episode; April 1st, 1963 was clearly not the day that General Hospital opened.

So, the John storyline continues, and honestly, it should. Rushing it would ruin it and John, and Drake deserve a lot better than that. I’m not really sure about the Citizen Kane reference though but I’m interested where everybody goes from here, especially Steve and Marlena. I didn’t dislike the Orpheus/Andrew scenes but at the same time, it was all a little clunky. It made Andrew look weak. And like such a lousy agent too. He should’ve laid Orpheus out with like one punch or something. But I’m glad that Paul saved him. Too bad neither of them could bring themselves to kill Orpheus. I was actually surprised that Jada confessed everything to Rafe so quickly, but I guess I understand it based on the spoilers and from a storyline perspective. The set up was good, both in their scenes and in the EJ/Belle scenes as well. The acting in the Rafe/Jada scenes was a little… mehhh though. Those scenes, once again, showed us what dicks Rafe and Jada are lol which again tells me what a waste of time it was to bring Fake Rafe back to cause conflict for the two of them because the conflict could’ve easily come from the two of them themselves. Rafe suing the city for wrongful termination would’ve been a lot better than Fake Rafe. And yeah, Brady’s still a little bitch. Like, why is he being so nice to Kristen? He should be ripping her shreds every time he sees her. Again, how is this pathetic excuse for a man supposed to carry on John’s legacy? Too bad we can’t get Christopher Sean full time. Paul is the perfect one to carry on John’s legacy. It would probably also mean that we would get Colton Little full time too. And I would much rather see Paul and Andrew 😊😊 than Leo

I don't mind the hospital documentary thing, but it seems forced and contrived, even more than the sudden labor in the broken down elevator. There had to have been a more organic way to possibly bring Andre and Ashley together. But I didn't expect Tomas to ask Kat to try and convince Naomi to drop her lawsuit. I'm totally here for it though. This could be a really good dynamic in their relationship and storyline. Eva finding out about it and manipulating the situation in her favor could be really good as well. And, agreed with everybody that Joey and Vanessa do have chemistry. I'm becoming more interested in the whole Doug's gambling story.

I didn't hate the whole crypt thing, but honestly, what was the point of it all if it was just gonna be wrapped up in a nice, neat little bow like it was today? They could have at least made Gio and Emma have their first kiss or something lol And, Liz and Lucky's final scene... 😊😊😊😊

Ugghhh Orpheus. Hopefully, this’ll be the end for him too. I’m so tired of him. He was used wayyyy too much these past few years. And I would really, really hate for him to succeed in killing John after all this time. That wouldn’t be right at all. If anything, they should have John sacrifice his own life to kill Orpheus once and for all. Btw, what was with that weird jump cutting after Orpheus fired the gun at Marlena? I liked the Shawn/JJ scenes too and I’m glad that the show is establishing a friendship/relationship between the two of them. They both could really use someone to talk to about their problems lol it could also be interesting if the Shawn/Jada/Rafe mess causes problems for JJ and Gabi too. And I like that Belle is being weaved into everything as well. I wonder how things are going to play out with her and EJ tomorrow. The cliffhangers were ok, but I really hope that this isn’t the end of John’s storyline yet.

Ehhhh… it’s the least GH can do lol the way she was written out was terrible. They should’ve just had her finally succumb to Huntington’s Disease.
