Finally, Johnny knows the truth! I’ve been waiting for them to do this storyline ever since we heard that Johnny and Allie were being aged and I hope it plays out for a long time and has huge ripple effects all across the canvas. I thought Carson Boatman did pretty well too. Plus, this is such a better way to use him/Johnny than they have previously. Same can be said for Kate/Lauren Koslow. I didn’t expect her to be a part of this but I’m glad that she was. The only thing that this storyline needed was for Roman to have a bigger part. We should have gotten his reaction to EJ/Fake Rafe 2.0 and everything that happened with Sami a lot sooner and a lot more than just one time yesterday. Hopefully, they continue to have a big part in this storyline. Btw, I wonder what Johnny and Allie thought was the reason why they were twins with different fathers 😂😂 Belle’s a total dumbass though but I still like this part of the storyline and the mess that she’s in. She and EJ did really well today too. I’m looking forward to the fall out when Paulina finds out that Belle had sex with EJ again. Again, a much better way to use the character of Paulina too. Shawn continuing to have a part in this could be really good as well. They just really need to have Belle talk about all the things EJ did to her own family instead of just what he did to Rafe and Jada. This could all be such a good mess. For the first time, nuSophia actually felt a little like old Sophia today, at least in the beginning anyway lol. Definitely not as good, but it’s a start. I liked that she was there for Tate, both when he was ranting about Doug III and when he was telling her about John. As good as that scene was, it also tells me that making Sophia was pregnant (and reuniting Tate and Holly) so quickly really wasn’t necessary. Like I said before, they should have waited until after John died. And yes Tate, we all thought John was invincible too 😥 And, Doug III looked hot 😍😍😂 He was really sweet and dorky today too. I like watching their friendship/relationship grow and I’m curious about what they’re going to do try to get the necklace. And what Tate’s gonna do because of it. All in all, I think yesterday and today were two of the best episodes we’ve gotten in a while. I’m still wondering what made them so good. Hopefully, this good streak continues into next week. And that Johnny beats the s*it out of EJ too 👊🏻 He deserves a lot more than just a punch 😂😂

Good episode, but I still think everything’s moving too fast. They really need to allow these storylines to breathe and develop all of these characters some more, which the exception of the core four. Ted, for example could really use a friend to confide in about Leslie lol and what happens to Leslie after all of this is exposed? She goes away and just pops up once a year to cause trouble like Orpheus and Clyde on Days? I agree, Trisha is a standout among the cast, and I feel she deserves more than that. The pacing, and the fact that everyone in the family, the community, etc. are so fine with Dani after she just tried to kill people is B&B-like. And yeah, Martin is still a dick. Hopefully, they bring in a man for Smitty to cheat with and eventually dump Martin’s petty bitch ass for.

As much as I want Lucky and Liz to have their romantic night together, I was totally here for the Lucky/Liz/Ric triangle today! Usually, I'm not a fan of cockblocking but I'm really enjoying this storyline and there were a lot of good shots fired today between Lucky and Ric. But when did Lucas become such a thirsty ho? 😂😂😂 He and Marco did have chemistry and I really hope GH goes forward with something possibly developing between them, even though I'm gonna feel so bad for Brad when he finds out 😊 It would be nice to get a proper triangle with the three of them though. And yeah, Van Hansis is still so adorable 😊😊😂

Yep 😂😂😉 And it was good seeing him not take any of EJ’s crap. And so much better than that hatchet job that he got during that Body&Soul nonsense. As for Roman, usually I can understand him but today was different I hope we find out the real story someday. I’ve had so many suspicions, and after today’s episode, I have more. I guess Ron could’ve known that he was gonna be out once his contract was up, but we didn’t know lol and Days usually isn’t good at keeping secrets 😂 We knew Abigail was gonna die 6 months before it even happened 😂😂

Today was a really good one. Maybe Paula/Jean did edit or rewrite some of Ron’s work in his final months because today felt different. But in a very good way. It felt a lot more sophisticated and mature than what we’ve had to endure for the past few years. And not treated like a big joke at all. It was full of real human drama and emotion and not over the top, campy, plot driven drek. The relationships between parents and children were on full display today. And none of it seemed biased against anyone, especially in the Tate/Theresa scene. I’m actually really liking their bond as mother and son. And it’s a vast improvement over last summer when Theresa was going to prison and Tate was pretty much not giving a crap lol and as much as I can’t stand Amy, she had a lot of good points today. And I liked the foreshadowing between her and Paulina. I enjoyed the Marlena and Belle scenes too. Their conversation about Belle finding a true love, and everything that happened with EJ was really good. And so much better than when Marlena first caught them in bed together. The only thing that their scenes needed was some more discussion about all the things EJ did to Belle’s family and how Belle could even give him a second look. Hopefully, we’ll get that in the Belle/EJ scenes tomorrow. And I loved seeing Johnny go head to head with EJ and not have any time for his crap. He had balls today and I’m here for it. This is the way the character of Johnny should have always been written. So many times since Carson Boatman started playing the role, Johnny’s been isolated to the Dimera’s and almost seemed like he had blinders on when it came to EJ. Today, he actually felt like a Brady too. EJ admitting to Johnny that he regrets what happened between Fake Rafe and Sami was a good surprise as well, and actually seemed genuine. It definitely was the biggest reason why I think that there was some editing/rewriting. And, I also enjoyed the way that Roman was used today, even though (I hate to say this) every time he spoke today, I almost needed the subtitles. But I’m glad we got his perspective about EJ and Sami and everything that happened with Fake Rafe. That was one thing that was missing from this storyline. And I like how it all set up the final scene with Johnny. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow’s episode 👍 Perfect for Leo! He’d be among his own kind 😂😂😂 Today was a perfect example of that. And completely agree about Ron; regardless of the budget and whatever other BTS issues there were, it’s pretty obvious that a lot of these bad decisions were choices. Ruining Craig and Nancy for no reason immediately comes to mind.

Yeah… #FreeSmitty And honestly, free Mike, Jaden and Najah too. Count me in as someone else who was impressed by Tyrell and Samantha from the very beginning. And they too acted circles around Brandon Claybon. I don’t know if it’s the pacing of a soap or something but he is not good. Yeah, he’s no Garren Stitt but he’s heading there pretty fast. And not just in scenes with Smitty/Mike Manning, but with every other character he interacts with, and those dream scenes at the end, as well. And while I do like their storyline, Martin being so worried about how Smitty going back to work might make him look but having no problem with how Dani’s behavior might make him look makes no sense to me at all. And, we finally got a kiss! Now, we just need a shirtless scene 😂😂 It was nice, and so was the little family bonding moment at the end. Derek and Ashley are boring but they don’t bother me like they bother y’all 😂😂 But I’m interested in whatever Joey’s trying to do with Doug. Hopefully, it’ll tie into what Vanessa’s doing with all the hotties at the country club lol The sudden jump cuts to commercial are really strange though.

Yeah... the Golden Bachelor was pointless and unnecessary. And the same can be said for the whole Quartermaine crypt thing. Luckily, Chase and Dante made today worth watching 😍😍😂 And so were the Lucky/Liz/Aiden scenes. We really need more of those because the three of them work really well together as a family. Hopefully, Lucky and Liz will get to have a romantic night together soon. Too bad we won't get to see Aiden's sleepover though 😂😂😂

Well tbf, I always thought the execution was where his biggest faults were. So, I am looking forward to the storylines being told even better. And hopefully, less focus around Alex and Leo 😂😂

So, the Greenes are now using the Allie/Tripp/Wendy apartment set as their home. I guess the changes in it looked nice, except for that big ugly window in the back. Seriously, what is it with soaps and big ugly windows? GH has the same problem. But I liked Chad/Cat working together. They were sweet. And despite how cheap it’s probably gonna look lol I’m kinda looking forward to the hospital fundraiser. Hopefully, it ends up being a big event where several storylines reach their climax/turning point. Stephanie was a complete dumbass today though. Idk if they were trying to make her look stupid or tone deaf with Joy but it definitely worked and that isn’t a good thing. Having her be dumb just to make Alex look smart is not the way to go. As for Joy, idk. I think there’s potential in her storyline and having it be tied to Alex and the Kiriakis family storyline but I just don’t know. Speaking of Alex, he was looking like he was dressed to go disco dancing. But I did enjoy the Kiriakis family scenes. I still think they’re missing a big opportunity by not having Alex be secretly undermining Philip and Xander and their take over attempt or not having any kind of fall out from Philip/Stephanie/Alex. It would be so nice if that ends up happening at some point. And it would be so messy in such a good way 😂😂 Btw, Sonny definitely should have been a part of that meeting too. It sucks because as much as I want him and Will back in Salem and on the canvas, they’re better off gone as long as Leo is around. And Javi/Leo… Skip, even though Javi looked hot. What a boring, unsexy couple. And Leo moving into Rafe’s house? 🤮🤮🤮

As for Charlotte, she's just as big of a pain in the ass I remember. Too bad she couldn't just go away with her toolbag father. We seriously dodged a bullet with that Jake/Charlotte pairing. And knowing Frank, possibly a Jake/Charlotte/Wyatt teen triangle. They wrote letters. And in some cases, attacked them in public 😂 I'm still not sure that she even has a heart 😂😂

I’m done. F*ck you, Brady 🖕 I’m tired of him. Get rid of him too. I was totally Team Ava today and I’m glad that it’s looking like she’s gonna dump his pathetic ass. The only thing that they needed to do was really have Ava go all out and rip Brady a new one about his awful kid and how ridiculous he is. They didn’t go there today and they really should have. Luckily, they seem to go there with Gabi. Her vs. Belle and Paulina was the best part of today. It was a pretty good fight. They’re still missing the family beat about Belle and EJ but I’m really liking the mess that so many people are involved in over him. Speaking of EJ, except for some clowny, campy moments, he seemed more villainous today and I liked that. That’s the way he should be, instead of treating everything like a big joke. And I’m totally behind him being the one to get rid of Kristen’s annoying ass mother. I’m liking how this is all coming together. And I was liking Shawn confessing everything to JJ. I hope their relationships as family and as partners continues. Having JJ, and hopefully Gabi too be a part of Shawn’s mess with Rafe/Jada could be really good. And for the first time in a long time, I’m finding Rafe and Jada interesting 😂😂

They really should slow it down a little. And yeah… #FreeSmitty Martin’s mad that Smitty going back to work might look bad to his constituents or whatever but has no problem with how Dani’s problem might make him look? OK.
