I personally didn't get the vibe today that Ezra and Laura were potentially getting paired up. Up until 30 minutes into today's show, it always felt like Laura was grossed out by him. I think today we just saw Laura finally understand and feel sorry for him in a small capacity. If anything, it felt more motherly. I guess we'll see what happens when he wakes up tomorrow. Speaking of hair, I can't with Cullum's. He's too grown for that style.

I doubt we've seen the last of Lynette. I can't buy that Randy would have killed her, but if so, just another death that happens off-screen that we're told about. But I have a feeling we see her again... at least I really hope so, because I like her.

All My Children Tribute Thread
Oh wow, I don't remember them ever talking about Joe's brother. I agree, they should/could have easily brought him back. They brought in Jeff, why not Paul. Per wiki, it looks like Paul came for a short visit in early 1995, which I definitely don't remember - wow. I wonder if this had something to do with the Martin house getting rebuilt after the 1994 tornado. 1995: Paul returned to Pine Valley for the Martin family housewarming party. While looking back at his life in Pine Valley, Paul could not forget to remember the love he shared with Anne. I'd love to see this clip, I'll have to go find it.

This is a great find, thanks for sharing! I love that this long ago, they were highlighting how straight men secretly love soaps. The way the news anchor explained it was just like my dad - you walk by and get hooked, pretend like you aren't, but you sit down and watch haha. This was before my AMC watching days, but who is Paul Martin (the actor they interviewed)? I'm drawing a blank as to how he fits into the Martin family.

What's going on with the board?
I was having a lot of issues a couple weeks ago between my Mac and then Edge, and eventually couldn't log in through either. I cleared out my cache on both and that fixed it, thankfully. We had some back and forths with others having the same problem in the "Booting In and Out" thread, if that helps at all. Good luck!

When I first started watching in Feb 1995, I thought Josh felt like leading man material. He started courting Annie and I just felt like he was a strong, handsome male presence at the time. That continued into the Ghost Reva story, but then it turned into Amish Reva and then once Annie's backstory was introduced and she became an alcoholic, the story was more about Annie and Reva. From there, you're right (at least over the 1996-1999 period, save for maybe a month in the early clone storyline when I do think it let RN shine with his acting abilities, as well as some character development with Josh's feelings/emotions during the time).

And in a storyline that was way less plausible than say AMC's Janet when she had plastic surgery when Robin Mattson took over the role. We were just told hey, she spent less than a year developing a friendship with someone, understanding the ins and outs of how her police job works, and then getting a doctor to quickly perform plastic surgery on her face to look exactly like the friend, who she then put into a coma. The voice and mannerisms changed with no explanation... and they even threw her alcoholism in the trash can, save one comment from Alan about not having a glass of champagne, but she does anyway (along with Dinah and elsewhere). I always tend to give grace to stuff like this because it's a soap opera and we're supposed to have fun... but yeah on paper, it just seemed rushed for such a storyline. I could see them bringing her back a couple years later after she's had some practice pretending to be someone else haha.

ALL: "Soapy" Podcast hosted by Rebecca Budig & Greg Rikaart
Ohhh I love MCE! I can't wait to watch. I hope she and Rebecca share gossip about AMC and their friends/time there.

That would have been an interesting way to keep Signy - have her play the real Terri. I thought Signy had the best chemistry with Ben (Hunt B), which was very early into her run. They dropped the storyline with Sean, who had that quick backstory with his wife and Ben, which Terri was investigating, but it really went nowhere fast. Now that would have been interesting! I loved Teresa on AMC (Gloria ended up being a great character). She had good chemistry with Grant A. when they were on together. Thanks all for your thoughts on Susan/Daisy!

Oh snap - it was BLQ! She must have been drinking too, huh? She seemed afraid of that empty bottle of wine. I'm curious what Willow's endgame is... it's so LOL to me when she just talks to Nina about her true feelings, as if Drew can't hear/understand her. She just gives zero Fs haha. But why does she care enough to take care of him and once he's back to normal, she's gotta know he'll come after her now. Surely she wouldn't want to live a life where he's in that state forever and she has to give him injections daily. Nina is so funny to me - you can tell she finds it creepy that Drew is just sitting there haha.

You're welcome! Yep, I'm glad they haven't forgotten Abby/Reva's connection. Annie is interesting... only because I know she leaves in July (not sure how)... so she only has ~1 month left, but they've rarely used her or Alan in months now, once the Nursery Rhyme Stalker story ended. It feels like they don't know what to do with them.

The "forever teenager" - wow, I had no idea! I just came across this video and LOL at how long she is a teen. I really don't like Susan that much (love that Brittany Snow made it big), but to see this journey of hers, wow haha. This gave me a few spoilers that I hope I forget tomorrow after all the glasses of wine I had tonight :P but goodness, what an arc. It makes me want to see everything, all to the end. Oh and now I get what y'all were saying about the Lemays being there from the beginning! What actress was the fan favorite for Susan/Daisy? Also - Harley gave birth in SUNGLASSES, at night?? LOL.

All My Children Tribute Thread
I've posted this a few times over the years, but honestly this is a core memory that will never go away. Y'all know I love Dixie and Tad... and when Tad "died" fighting Billy Clyde on that damn bridge... I was devastated as a little kid. But damn, if Craig didn't satisfy me hahaha. I know he was a schemer and honestly I don't remember how he left the scene - I need to go watch - but this scene will forever and always stay with me. And then Tad/Ted returned and that damn Canadian wilderness location shoot where Dixie saved Tad.. oh and then remember when Dixie was with Brian?!? and then Tad shows up and they're talking through the door and he says something to convince her that it's really Tad - something only they knew - I was so happy. Such great storytelling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9UD_NvcKn8&list=RDZ9UD_NvcKn8&start_radio=1
