Wow, Kasi Lemmons lost the part of Angie to Debbi. I'm skimming but there are some cringeworthy errors here - the host says she went back to AMC in '93 and pretty much stayed to the end. OTOH, Debbi herself says she left the first time to follow Charles S. Dutton to L.A. and do "Port Charles", which, no.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread

Fiona hasn't aged a day. Andrea and Ilene are discussing Roscoe Born and Phil Carey. LOL I didn't know Ilene would go join the Buchanan men on their infamous 'acting coach' drinking lunches when she was first on the show (as Georgina Whitman in the '80s). Fiona loved working with PC but said working with him after lunch was "flying solo". Tonja Walker: "[Guest star] Elaine Stritch scared the living bejesus out of me." I had no idea Ann Reinking came on during the Mortimer Bern story! Wow, Ilene is talking Sylvia Miles. I remember her brief stint as Roxy's gorgon mother.- Twin Peaks

Grim used Blasey-Ford to try to, of all things, take a shot at Dianne Feinstein, the dreaded centrist. It played great with his very online friends and no one else. Other people's real struggles are just tools to the far right and further left - Reade's allegations were simply another convenient cudgel.- All My Children Tribute Thread
Why would Genie specifically mention a private anecdote this forum only heard about from Jacob Young yesterday in an interview done years ago? Just because one person tells a backstage story at one point in their life doesn't mean all their colleagues are expected to retell it too - especially not years before they did. Like JY, he was an inferior recast. (I doubt she could sniff out the serial con artist Stephen Martines became IRL.)- One Life to Live Tribute Thread

As to the first two episodes, show's still great. Flows fine. The presence of Max (who returned in the S3 finale) onscreen in Penelope's fantasies makes me suspect he's not gone for good despite the promises of a new love interest, though. I'd be fine with more Max. If you have trouble finding the show via Other Means if you don't have Pop, hit me up.- Netflix: One Day at a Time
Not Netflix anymore, but anyway I am finally getting deep into these six episodes, the only ones filmed for S4 before the pandemic hit. That said, ODAAT has solved its pandemic problem: @DRW50 @All My Shadows @dragonflies- All My Children Tribute Thread
Former CBS?/P&G? PR flack Alan Locher's many soap star livestreams via zoom on YT (including today's first OLTL one with RSW/HBS, the DePaivas and Tuc Watkins) included an AMC-centric with Cady McClain, MEK and Cady's husband Jon Lindstrom. I believe he also did a long solo one for AMC with Susan (dressed to the nines in quarantine, ofc) and has done/will be doing another. The next OLTL one next week will have the notoriously press-shy Fiona Hutchison, Andrea Evans, Tonja Walker and Ilene Kristen. There's also been several for GL/ATWT.- "The Conners" Discussion Thread

Tuc talks about getting the network brass mad for going up on the roof with Roger Howarth, Christopher Douglas (Dylan) and Nathan Fillion to take off their shirts and smoke cigarettes in the sun, in full view of the network brass’ building windows. HBS quotes Phil Carey: You can’t just sit on this stuff and memorize it through your ass. You have to memorize it!” Bob Woods discusses being fascinated by Roger Thorpe and Rita on GL. - All My Children Tribute Thread
