  1. Carly Fixx? That sounds like a girl superhero name. LOL Thanks for the info. Mariska Hargitay would later interact with Robert Foxworth when he guested on SVU a couple of times.
  2. OK, thanks!! I'm glad that she is still doing creative work, and is still close with Martha after all these years.
  3. Thank you, Khan and Carl, for your thoughtful replies. I always felt Lisa Brown never got the appreciation by the industry as many of her female contemporaries did. What a shame. I wonder what she is up to these days.
  4. I don't even remember that one. Wow.
  5. Yes, it was. The crap on now can't hold a candle to the greatness GH showed in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
  6. Did you like her better as Iva or GL's Nola?
  7. I heard that Mariska Hargitay was on FC. What was her story arc? Who did she interact with?
  8. I'm not sure, but they were on friendly terms by the time the show ended.
  9. Those 1977 clips are really neat, and it's fun seeing Genie Francis' Laura pre-Luke.
  10. I heard that Gail Ramsey aka Gail Rae Carlson (General Hospital, Generations) is now remarried and living in Hawaii, working in ministry.
  11. One of my most vivid memories of SUN was when Ricardo saw the tape of his wife and his brother the priest in the act, he had a stroke or something. When he was in his hospital bed and saw Gabi and Antonio, and he would just seethe, my sister and I would always completely lose it. LOL
  12. Who could blame her?
  13. Poor AW never even got a 35th anniversary special, as the cancellation notice had been handed down in May, and they were scrambling to tie up the loose ends. What a gyp - both for the people who worked on the show (in front of and behind the camera) and the fans.
  14. DAYS premiered in November of 1965, so you're right.
  15. I never knew that either - especially that KL was his very first directing gig.
  16. Yeah, the show was originally titled Valerie, renamed The Hogan Family in the Sandy Duncan era.
  17. Interestingly enough, Eric Peters was played by the late Stanley Kamel, best known to recent audiences as Dr. Kroger on Monk.
  18. That's so sad...may she RIP.
  19. How about this? Ken Howard currently is the President of the Screen Actors Guild.
  20. Not-so-good news: http://www.deadline.com/2014/04/law-order-franchise-ending-svu-nbc-dick-wolf/
  21. I would love love love to see Unsung do a profile on the 1965 classic, A Patch of Blue. To be sure, the entire cast was not black, but it's a timeless movie about race relations. Also, Ivan Dixon played Sidney Poitier's brother in the movie. Another movie that would make a great Unsung episode would be 1964's One Potato, Two Potato.
  22. Denise Alexander is indeed one of the greats. Boo hiss to GH for wasting her.
  23. Maybe he means RIP "Valerie" the show?
