  1. I know - must have been something in the water before they moved to Peapack!!!!
  2. I think the Paris story had wrapped or was about to wrap by then. I think this was just about when Roscoe Born came on as Robert Barr.
  3. Carl, I like the way you think. ROFL!!
  4. I thought Julie Osburn only agreed to stay for a short time, so that might be why Kathleen never got out of Cass' orbit. One of my former supervisors, years ago, was pregnant with her first child when she started watching soaps. She first heard the name Kelsey from watching AW and chose that for her newborn daughter.
  5. Very cool. Interesting shows to be paired up. Can you imagine Barnabas Collins on the news staff at WJM? Mary being a governess to the Collins/Stoddard family? LOL
  6. 20+ years later and Melina's barely aged!!
  7. I've never seen that interview before. Thanks!!
  8. Poor Maggie - first she has to deal with Karen Werner, and now the Althea/Nick/Liz saga is heating up again under her roof. The first of tomorrow's episodes aired on Friday, February 9 - so that should be some cliffhanger!!
  9. Does anyone know how long Robert Cobert's theme song was used? I know TD used several themes from the late 70s to the end of the show in 1982.
  10. Was he the real Sky Whitney here or was he Jefferson Brown?
  11. Right now we are in February 1968. Lydia Bruce became the third and final Maggie in August 1968 and stayed until the show's finale in December 1982. Wait till you see Liz in the next two episodes. Good grief!!!
  12. At least Tommy Jr. came down from the attic eventually, unlike poor Bobby Martin. LOL
  13. I never knew Alex had a sister, either. I guess one really does learn something new every day!!!
  14. I could find next to nothing about Ann Whiteside (Ruth) on the web. It is interesting, however, to see James Noble portraying a darker character when I've only seen him in comedy, mostly as Gov. Gatling on Benson.
  15. No, I never heard that. What year was that?
  16. Not only that - he keeps alcohol IN THE HOUSE and tells her HE needs a drink??? It's a miracle she hasn't had a drink in all that time. When he went to the cabinet where the booze was and saw it partly open, he looked like he had daggers shooting out of his eyes until he realized that Ruth hadn't opened the bottle. Then he proceeds to enjoy his drink right in front of her face, practically. Speaking of clueless people, why didn't those moron police or at least Matt (I think Bill had left by that point) order Mr. Bunker out of the hotel room where Liz was so upset? Why was he let in there in the first place? IDIOTS!!
  17. That's good to hear. It sounds that she is happy and healthy. Thanks for posting the link to their site.
  18. Good news - starting with the first episode today, Althea is back!!!!
  19. Thank you! I have seen this ad before. I believe it was in the same magazine as the article "Liza and Her Loves", posted a few pages back in this thread.
  20. Thanks especially for the article about A. He and Leslie are still happily married today. Their youngest daughter, Ren, has a couple of songs on iTunes - she has a gorgeous voice, too!!
  21. It's too bad another soap didn't snap up Toby Poser and give her a meaty role. Is she still acting?
  22. Thanks. I don't remember Danielle Du Clos or her character of Lisa. I'm guessing she wasn't on OLTL long.
  23. The last couple of episodes have really been a window to the past, haven't they? No 50", HD flat screen TV for these folks! Fuzzy picture and rabbit ears! Then, you have the rotary phones. LOL I wonder if they are going to catch the creepy guy responsible for Liz climbing onto the ledge in the first place - I wouldn't mind leaving him alone in a room with Dr. Nick "Raging Bull" Bellini!!!!
  24. I loved Carolee and John's deep, heartfelt concern for their friend. Liz is lucky to have them for support. Now I can't wait until Althea and Nick hear all about this!!
