  1. It was also that annoying only-on-a-soap conversation where he wanted to tell her, but she kept interrupting him. So, later, he can't defend himself by saying that he wanted to tell her, but she wouldn't shut up. Also, why is there so much focus on the idea that Sofia was a virgin, but nothing about if this was Tate's first sexual experience?
  2. Not that Kate is dumb, but if she could figure out that the letter from Victor was fake in two seconds, how is that going to hold up in court? I was also surprised to realize that Philip knew the letter was fake. Considering that the last time Vivian was in town, she left a bomb in the mansion. And the time before that, she shot Dimitri. Shouldn't she be keeping a lower profile?
  3. My issue with Philip is not the actor, but the characterization. We need more contrasting male archetypes. They can't all be middle-aged men with mommy-issues, no ambition, who are prone to substance abuse, and no defining characteristic. At this point, EJ, Philip, Brady, Eric, and Alex are all the same. And, the only thing that differentiates Sonny and Leo is that they're gay. I'm not a Kyle Brandt fan, but at least the writing for Philip as a spoiled jock was a contrast to the more sensitive Shawn-D at the time. At this point, any triangle these guys are put into is a toss-up as to who is the least worst catch.
  4. There's a surprising lack of the character of Joy in the promo. I was certain she was going to be featured more frequently. Given that the actress wasn't at the event, one wonders if she has a future in Salem?
  5. Taking into account that it must be difficult to age when you are in the public eye, older soap studs have got to stop dying their hair shoe polish black. Spend a little extra, get some highlights and lowlights. That single process dye is not doing anyone any favors (just ask Eric Martsolf's beard).
  6. Is the guy at the end the same guy who meets Julie at the cemetery, or is that Will with darker hair? Also, glad to see Doc still has a blazer for every occasion. And Europe has done wonders for Carrie, she now looks younger than Belle! ?
  7. I stand corrected, lesson learned, never doubt @AbcNbc247 10/12/23 Chloe comes to see Brady at John and Marlena’s place to say goodbye. She needs to hit the reset button and spend time with Parker. Brady understands, considering how nice it is to have Tate there. However, he’s stunned to learn Philip is moving to New York as well. She clarifies they aren’t a couple, but she isn’t ruling it out. She knows it sounds crazy after what he put them through, but she hopes Brady trusts to her make the right choices. All Brady has ever wanted is for her to be happy. Besides, he knows you never get over your first love. Just like Brady will never get over her.
  8. They've stunt cast this 'journalist' from Young Hollywood as a nurse. Is this who you were referencing (because she's not a redhead)?
  9. That's not what I recall. I thought she broke up with Xander, then Philip tried to romance her during the funeral. And, Chloe had a 90210-Kelly-Taylor-style I choose me moment, and went to Boston to see Nancy.
  10. A thought and a follow-up Thought: It is odd that every time Shawn-D comes back to Salem, they instantly take him back at the Salem PD (especially because last time he was fired for drinking on the job). Follow-up: I re-watched the video three times on Instagram, and now it is recommending that I should follow Alan Alarr (no, thank you). It is like the algorithmic version of Beetlejuice!
  11. soooo good! And who is the mystery man at the gravesight with Julie? And, I'm calling it now, Bonnie falls down the elevator shaft, and wakes up thinking that she is Adrienne.
  12. Inspired by his early DNA drama, Parker has been working for 23 & Me. Unfortunately, he is currently embroiled in the data leak, because he wanted to make sure that nobody could have their paternity test altered twice, and cannot visit Salem. 😉
  13. I shutter to think how boring SB would've been with the central couple being a princess and an ex-con, versus a smart career-oriented woman with an Electra complex and a cop.
  14. THR - they lost 1/2 Billion dollars in the last three months, but the good news was that it was less than the $565 million they lost in the 3rd quarter of 2023 - which means that they lose 2 Billion Dollars a year Peacock Loss Narrows to $436M as Revenue Rises, Subs Jump to 36M on Paris Olympics Boost October 31, 2024 4:06am Peacock, the streaming service of Comcast’s entertainment unit NBCUniversal, grew its third-quarter revenue and narrowed its loss to $436 million from a loss of $565 million in the year-ago period,
  15. Seeing JJ with Julie made me realize that it is kind of funny that they just left him in Paris after Chad's non-wedding.
  16. Good news, the rain forecasted earlier in the week seems to have gone away (only 15% chance)
  17. If Jada gets a hand-me-down ring, after Rafe's last fiancées all got new rings, she should call foul. Getting the ring that Javi wants is hardly romantic.
  18. It was a bit of a letdown for a Friday episode because nothing actually happened. Xander/Kristen, Joy/Johnny, and Philip/Vivian talked about things that might happen, but nobody actually did anything. I am convinced that Joy and Johnny didn't “do the deed”, “hide the salami”, “engage in the beast with two backs”. Because they keep referencing going back to her room, and not saying sex. Maybe Johnny passed out, and he doesn't know that they didn't have sex. But, if they showed a closeup of a condom in the Sofia/Tate scene, I would think we would've seen them at least kiss. I was also thinking that they didn't need to say that they are filming B&S at the hospital and the pub. They could've just said that they built sets to resemble the hospital and the pub. It might've been a more creative and less divisive choice.

Can you imagine any other business releasing a statement saying sales are up, but losses are still close to half a billion dollars (for the last three months)? 🤔😎 https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/comcast-q3-earnings-peacock-loss-nbcuniversal-paris-olympics-1236047497/
  20. Just for s^*@s and giggles, I looked it up, and in our universe's timeline, Joy would be four years older than Johnny. Not exactly a cougar, but a bit of a cradle-robber. I will hand it to RonC, because he clearly loves Halloween going back to his days at OLTL, and these have become a tradition, the island that was Pineview spelled backward was cute.
  21. Generations was a half hour soap (is my only answer)
  22. It's kind of silly to believe that only 6.2 million people will vote when The Federal Election Commission reported that 158,429,631 people voted in the 2020 presidential election.
  23. Sometimes things happen on DAYS and I don't question it, like why Kat has such an extensive wardrobe. But, today, when the warden called Steve to say that Clyde escaped, it took me right out of the episode. It could've been written that Steve got a news alert on his phone. Or the radio in the pub could've been interrupted by the news. But, of all the people in Salem, why would the warden of a maximum security prison call Steve Johnson to say that Clyde escaped? Steve and his family are in no immediate danger, he has no information about Clyde's whereabouts, and an escaped convict shouldn't be kept secret. So, it makes no sense. And, at some point, shouldn't the citizens of Salem begin to question why there is a prison escape almost every year right before Halloween?
  24. You know Brady has a huge Oedipal thing when it comes to women who have slept with his father. Watch out next summer for Brady/Marlena 😃
