  1. They probably feel it’s too far out from the premiere to have any real impact. I guess we’ll see how much they invest in promotion 1-2 months before the premiere.
  2. This is FV, realistically, he’s probably indeed talking about Roger Howarth coming back as another character, lol
  3. I must say, the people who work in the industry and covertly post amongst us here or actively read our comments must have some thick skin, lol.
  4. Funny Dan made a joke about writing fan fiction, because that’s how his and Chris’s material often came off as. Very bad fan fiction.
  5. Oh FV, Liz and Finn’s relationship doesn’t require a f.ucking montage to help fill time…
  6. I’m sorry, but I can’t stand Michael Easton’s acting. Few people are as uncharismatic as this man is. So they’re back to teasing the Liason fans, let’s see how long this lasts, lol.
  7. Chase and Brooklyn are dressed like the King and Queen of Walmart.
  8. I don’t care what writer, actors, or set designers they hire, nothing will change as long as FV is there and given the authority by ABC to call the shots. It’s just going to continue to be more of the same - which hasn’t worked in a damn decade! FV is the one consistent thing you can point to for why this show has sucked for the better part of the past decade.
  9. GH has the advantage of being a network owned soap and ABC doesn’t have to pay a licensing fee for it. That could explain why the show has better diversity in terms of sets vs. the other soaps despite its atrocious ratings. But, again, there’s a lot more to being an EP than just budget management and how many sets are in use. FV produces a factory-style show that lacks passion and any energy. I can’t explain what the tone has been under his decade + watch, because it’s lacked an identity for all of this time. His poor taste in actors, keeping a bloated cast to the detriment of the overall show, and the fact that every writing regime since he’s produced the show has failed is on him.
  10. Any halfway competent EP can balance a budget sheet. That’s literally one of the core basics of that job. No one should think FV is any special because of that. An EP is also supposed to steward the tone and creativity energy and stability of the show. And make tough decisions when things don’t work. FV has never excelled at any of this.
  11. Great and fair analysis of Julie's ill fated return as Bet in 2002:
  12. Probably the fairest analysis I've seen in terms of assessing Den's return. I wish this guy did more video analyses on the British soaps:
  13. Gail has been a joke for years, but Helen is always wonderful, so it's a bit bittersweet. She's more than earned her retirement.
  14. Yuck, and I don't think season 2 is going to be any better than season 1...
  15. Yeah, definitely think the character was hampered by the writing transition and maybe ELR didn’t quite realize how unlikeable and grating the character would come off, despite having a brief description about her. At the end of the day though, I don’t think this character works and they need a major course correct if they intend to keep her on more (yeah, I know ELR is recurring). In every scene this character is in, she feels like a black cloud over the show. She’s such a drag - and that’s saying something given how many useless characters are on this particular show.
  16. So much of who Natalia is seemed to be made up as they went along. While ELR could have been trying smooth things over a bit, I wouldn’t be surprised if she had no idea what type of person Natalia would really be.
  17. Martha Byrne is disgusting trash. The justice system is only “broken” to people like that when the people they support are not able to rig it. I’ve never been prouder to be Heather Rattray’s #1 fan and supporter on this board…
  18. MAGA Martha is rightfully getting dragged for this on X: I’ve never been more proud to be Heather Rattray’s #1 supporter on this board…
  19. Willow and Michael’s disagreement on Drew’s political aspirations sets up a potential Drew/Willow affair - of course with Nina in the mix. We’ll see if that goes anywhere with EK.
  20. I think she’s just moved on more than anything else, and more power to her for that.
  21. Everyone suddenly bringing up that Ava is a cold blooded killer herself seems like a set-up for Ava to get her comeuppance and die. Otherwise, I can’t see what this is building to. Ava’s literally collecting enemies left and right.
  22. I think an executor can read a will at anytime after someone dies, it doesn’t necessarily need to be after burial/cremation.
  23. Willow so wants to f.uck Drew. She’s never this excited around Michael.
  24. Ava’s going around f.ucking with everyone in this episode - Nina, Joss, and Alexis. If this isn’t setting up a “Who Killed Ava?” story, then I don’t know where this is going.
  25. Enough time has passed where I think they can recast Olivia - but they probably don't care and Josh Griffith would never do the character justice anyway.
