Melrose Place
Thank you. I completely agree. I didn't realize how much talking was going on and saw the bold. Like @Gray Bunny I also felt Alison was the heart of the show. And like @Soaplovers said, I would have not have her leave the show without Billy since they had them set up to be together and go through so much mess from Day 1. And as a regular viewer back then part of the appeal that kept people going was that the first season did soooo much to leave the groundwork for everything that followed. Right down to the introduction of Amanda.

Uh...I would only believe that if Willow was introduced under the JP and SA and not the current writers.

Thank you. I had seen Holly's coda scene (and foine-as-he-aged Ethan), but I had no idea if it was a dangling plot thread. Good for Scorpio for the delay since he is mixing it up now by being in the Ned/Olivia story AND the Anna/Finn/Jackie/Chase story. Add on Peter. And the sky is the limit on possibilities where his story could go.

GH February 2021 Discussion
Yay!!! I made it to today!!! And this is building nicely. We have a mystery person with Alex's will, something recorded, and a letter for Peter. Dimitri? Anna's onto Obrecht and is on the warpath. And I wanted to say that I've been liking Valentin the last two weeks. I cannot seem to find the word. If he was a woman, I would say he's playing the 'vixen' role. And I've been loving it. So...he's being a rouge? Is it too much to ask for Ava and Nina to go after Carly? Double custody battle? I like that they are trying to keep Nina rational, but I want her to go revenge all up on Carly. And the hints CW has been giving in her performance is making me cross my fingers. Goodness knows Carly could use a rival and Nina is in the perfect position now to be a great one. And I might have missed it since I've only recently started back regularly but...does Robert know yet that Holly is alive?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOD Yeah, I wasn't really feeling tonight until Tiffany's Pizza Party. And even then the Dallas Coven (Kary, Brandi, Kameron sadly, and Stephanie) just had to be overdramatic about it. Do I feel Tiffany was in the right for the sneaky cultured food? No. While I could understand why she did it, as a host, sometimes people are not going to like what a host brings out when it comes to food. Or they might be allergic. It is something I deal with at work all the time...and I deal with some really stupid people. lol. She should not have to force anything on anyone PERIOD. Now as a prank...okay, she gets that. lol. And given the potty humor, tone deaf pranks, and literally s&(* in hats that go on on this show, not one of these heffas can sit there (debatably Kameron can since this has been a recurring drama between the two of them) and be all overdramatic over some crickets in pizza. NOT ONE OF THEM. I did enjoy the fact that RealBrandi almost came out, revealing her whole storyline IS a storyline. *cough*redemption*cough* And that is why it will not work. I left the episode wishing to see more of Jen. I posted a story earlier about RHOV and on that page it had a little more tea about what would have happened with her. If true, yeah, I could see why she was cut if they are keeping it light because it could have been dark. Or inspiring. As is it seems like it is LeeAndra/Tiffany vs Kary/Brandi/Stephanie with Jen in the middle with Kameron doing whatever she feels like it with Kary leanings. Which is good because it has been clear for a while, was clear again tonight, and will be clear next week that LeeAndra and Tiffany have each other's back. And I continue to enjoy that. I guess they are the mature female friendship that I expect and do not see with Brandi/Stephanie. LEEANDRA. Still following LeeAnne for a storyline. Tired. BUT like I said above, I loved anything where it was her and Tiffany interacting and being friends. Heck, even Kameron got into the act with them. And that was a great moment to see them having fun, being rich bitcas, and enjoying more of Tiffany's closet. TIFFANY. I found her bossy, too. LOL!!! I'm not going to lie. However, that was HER HOUSE. And she had rules. And I respect that she was upfront that it was a simple dinner party and there was a cut off time. The Dallas Coven was just being upset for the sake of it which made me RME. As a Southerner, even I know what a dinner party is and we do dinner parties OFTEN. Since I'm not married and know this...you can imagine what I think about them thinking they are playing dumb over Tiffany's very normal rules. I liked the prank and even when they got dramatic, she was enough of a host to try to fix the solution. And her husband was adorable for co-host due to her being late due to work. STEPHANIE. Her and the POC co-worker gave me soap 'POC as a talk-to' vibes. NEXT. BRANDI. Hehe...she literally was going to sit there and freak out over crickets given some of what she has done. GIRL, SIT YOUR A$$ DOWN. That Stephanie wanted to sit there and hold her hair like some bootleg Robyn to Chucky's Gizelle. NEXT. KAMERON. Well, I know @Cat will be happy to know the trainer was back. But otherwise...I was not feeling her. I think today's earlier news with her and Tiffany has surprisingly soured me with her today and I've always liked her. So...uh oh? for me. Because she was fun here. She gave great THs tonight. And I still feel that she was in the right this time over the crickets and being sneaky. But I was not feeling her like I usually do. Judging from the preview of next week...this looks like it is only temporary. KARY. Hm. Lint. NEXT. That's all I got. I guess the first dull episode for me this season. But at least it looks like it will pick up again next week with the road trip.

Well, I cannot say that they don't look good together. And it IS refreshing to see her away from Jason. And someone was looking good in those boxer briefs...lol. I definitely find the idea inspired. Sonny's son. Alexis's daughter. And they are both so connected to so many people and yet not related. I guess...hmmmm? I mean some of what I see in the two has potential. And then some of it is forced. Looks like they are doing what they happened with Sam and Patrick where it was started sllllowly and friends.

Britney Spears Thread
I was just discussing this with my co-worker a few hours ago. I saw that JT was getting a lot of backlash during SuperBowl and saw it was not about the halftime show. It's on my Hulu so I am definitely considering watching it...especially since the Wendy Williams docu was all kinds of juicy.

If I'm not mistaken, karma still isn't done with Jody. Last I checked. And I think before this Christina also caught up with Mary so they seem to still be close as well. I wouldn't mind a mini season either, but I'm bias.

@Cat Christina I want to say became a photojournalist. I could be wrong (I just woke up). ETA: My bad. lol. I think I am getting her mixed up with Jennifer Sky. But...I found this from a year ago... Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, Christina (and her tagline) was my favorite so her loss (and the fact she had Mary's back) was part of the reason I felt weary continuing. Her and Reiko kept Jody in check so I agree with you two. With them, she ran over the others. Something she should not had even been able to do given she got her comeuppance at the end of Season 1. They should have never brought her. I might do it some day but yes, hearing all that toxicity is giving me RHOM Season 3 Reunion vibes. SMH.

The Equalizer
Lol!!! That's how I feel about it. I am really, really surprised by how much I liked it. I was talking my co-worker's ear off today. Every once in a while you need that...what I like to call popcorn fare...where it is what it is. Kinda like THE RESIDENT EVIL movies. I know it doesn't have any major plot and it's just a redhead kicking zombie butt...and I'm FINE WITH THAT. lol. Just a feelgood feeling. I got that from this. And my writer side could see it getting complicated later on. But for a pilot...it was good. But I am a sucker for the actress from DOLLHOUSE. lol. Agree. For all that...I still liked it. Perhaps it's the fact that like you said QL sold it for me. Or just memories of the original show as a kid with my mom. But I'm down for its barebones (for now) plot.
