8-16 So much to be liking. But I have said that all you really need sometimes is Laura. There was a bit of a meh feel to last week, but then the writers started to build to the rager and then it kinda found itself again. But darn!!! I was hoping to see more teens. I like the mentions and even understand why not so many, but...darn!!! lol. Still I like that Spencer's return has gotten the teens for the most part as of late acting like teens. Cam and Joss finally getting together. And the slow burn that is Spencer with Trina. And Trina was looking good at the rager. While I expect some gray in the Cam/Joss relationship (the Liz/Carly history can come back into play, as much as I don't want to see it, the Novak/mob threat, college drama), I like they are the goody goody couple for a little while while the real drama and potential is with Spencer and Trina. And speaking of...it's finally coming to a head with this stalker storyline. It is great to see it front and center. And tying in Laura and Kevin and a vengeful Nik on his son...tragic but soapy. Also soapy? Dante/Sam/Drew. Of course, now that Dante and Sam are moving forward....HERE COMES DREW!!!! And wow...DZ was selling those scenes by the pool with KM. He was looking so darn hot and had some swagger. I was like *swoon*. And KM upped her game, too so I was happy to see them kiss. So of course, the phone call!!! Ugh!!! I will try to have an open mind with the recast, but ugh. Is it wrong that I want this Novak story to end with Jax dead? I like how this whole Carly/Jason engagement has turned into a B story cuz...why not? But I liked that after all of these repeat talks, Jax finally tried to do something. Carly is too smart for that. But it's nice to see a conflict between the two. And while Sonny in Nixon Falls is currently C story...Lenny dying HURT. The actress playing Phyllis killed that. Strong in front of Sonny and Nina. Losing it when she was alone. She was great.

I thought you described it beautifully. It also shows for all the drama going down right now on POTOMAC, they do appear to have mended their friendship. It will be nice to see on the show if true.

POTOMAC On one hand I guess I should say it was a lot. On the other hand... It was well paced from start to finish. Ever since last week, the conversation had been on Zen Wen. And the teams were La Dame/Wendy/Mia/Askale vs the GEB/Candiace. And then Ashley sashyed in and lit a match. And...BOOM!!!! I am only disappointed that Wendy was soooo hurt that she did not realize that Ashley was so trying for an alliance. Sorry, Wendy was so in her feelings she saw it as an attack. Thankfully, she aimed her thoughts at the right person Gizelle. And that part of the trailer WAS WORTH THE WAIT. LA DAME. Can do no wrong. And she basically sat back and enjoyed the ride. And I LOVE those boots she had on at the pool. And WOW at how bothered everyone was at her and Wendy's growing friendship. It was so clear as day and I found it hilarious because they did not even seen to hide it. And then her and Mia throughout the episode were gif-worthy reaction queens. I LIVED!!!! GIZELLE. I liked that she realized that she messed up with Robyn and did what she should have done and talked to Robyn on the side. Now that seem geniune. Her attacking her...and yes it was a attack right there with Candiace and Wendy...was not. And honestly, what was bugging me about her this week was the fact that she was bothered. And worse, there is a way for her to word what she was saying better, but she chose to be tactless with a hint of attitude and there was no need for that. And then Wendy dragging her was a thing of beauty. She ain't unbothered. She just mad she got caught. And as Ms. Kenya Moore would say 'don't backpedal now!!!' Cuz if you didn't believe it, Gizelle would not have tried so hard to get it on camera multiple times. Thus, why Wendy let her know WHAT*clap*TIME*clap*IT*clap*WAS!!!! ROBYN. I wish she saw how Gizelle was treating her last episode. Where is Season 4 Robyn? That said...same, Robyn!!! re: Whiskey. And sorry, Robyn, Dr. Wendy dragged your a$$ too and I hollered. 'Go get a cracker.' 'Want a moment so bad.' So many quoteable moments from her drag. CANDIACE. Poor Candiace. Outside of 'idontknowanythingabouteddie,' she did not really do much except lost it on Ashley as Ashley was unbothered at the end. Heck, Askale did more. ASHLEY. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!!!! Ashley has always been the chief s&it stirrer and this showed how good she is. Only there five minutes and immediately got into the drama. And while I see she was trying for an alliance with Wendy, she set it all the way off. Hopefully when Wendy is not in her feelings, she will see the olive branch Ashley was giving her. MIA. hehe. Her sitting there eating her food was a great gif as drama was starting. And I loved that she, Askale, and Wendy were sooooo doing a gangup on Gizelle at lunch. You saw how quick Gizelle (without Robyn around) very quickly apologized. Hm. WENDY. YEESSS GIRL GO OFF!!!! That said, I do have to say this episode I found Wendy to be at her most human. It was clear. There she is being a good trooper, knowing she is hurting from Gizelle's attack last week, and took La Dame's talk from last week and soldiering on. And then she got to be in charge of her first gang up at the lunch. And then...it was so clear on her face when she was talking to Ashley how hurt she was. I guess she really did see Gizelle as a friend. And she lashed out as only someone deeply hurt by someone you consider a close friend would be. And she was hitting RHOA Season 6 Pillowtalk Kandi vibes. That said...oooooOOOOO her destroying the GEB was great. Though Robyn was probably too drunk to notice. lol. Currently rewatching. And next week Mia stirrrrs that pot. LOVE. Great episode Hmmmm amen. Evan can so get it. I was happy to say Bill with the group for sure.

Hehe. ANNE OF GREEN GABLES is also want of my favorite books of all times. I cannot believe to tell you how much I love the books or spent many a Sunday watching it on VHS or on PBS as a kid. And I looked forward to see AVONLEA every time Disney did their free weekend airing on normal cable. Even during the pandemic I hoped to binge the whole series, but alas...silly library. Lord, I remember how much as a kid I wanted to run away to Prince Edward Island and matched it out for a vacation. And I know I had a good cry when Jonathan Crombie passed. One of my first crushes. I guess that little 'k hole' I went down watching Anne with a E clips is showing. Bosom friends indeed!!!! As for Dallas...who knows...they might get the Peacock treatment. Though I do wonder if there is more to the story...like the fact that while they tried their best to make it sound like a rumor, the fact is that Travis really does seem to have shares in Goodbye Pictures. So perhaps it is gone due to the fact the company was no longer interested. Le sigh. And LeeAnne would have made an entrance, too... Yeah, I hope that it will a timely refresh. I still shivered at how toxic the Season 3 reunion was. And I want nothing like a Season 2 vibe again. Hehe at loving I love her as well so I look forward to her giving so much. Same for Adriana being messy. You know she is going to be. I definitely looking forward to the diversity as well. I too will miss Mama Elsa. Well I feel like how I felt about Donny Boaz on Y&R...it feels like the writers are already setting up to get rid of the character he plays. So if Jax dies by mob hit, I won't be surprised. The writing (or foreshadowing) is on the wall. Now we know why I guess.

BH Finally!!! And by finally, I meant my tv system started to work. lol. I think Garcelle, as per usual hit it on the head in last week's episode. This group is now a group of two. The Coven. And the Newbies. Note that the Newbies are real vs the Coven who will do anything to deflect from what's real. In a way it again takes us back to the early days except for the fact that it's less about the haves and the wannabes and more about the Jones and the people who want to be keeping up with them...some of whom aren't what you think. It is an interesting dynamic for sure. And that was so very clear this episode where (so far) the usual tactic of the gangup on one was met with 1) facts, 2) women with the balls to back it up and 3) more than one woman of like mind so when you have two groups of said women....DRAMA. Well from what I heard that L.A. Times article is not long at all. And that alone should let you know what the Coven were trying to say. I myself is still of the mind that Kyle is definitely being Producer Kyle and playing both sides. I hope eventually someone will call her out on that. But it's been 11 seasons so...in any case, it was good to see that with two groups within the group, some of the old tactics (for now) won't work anymore. Which means...as someone joked on Twitter...that it's time to see what happens when people stop being polite, and start getting REAL. KYLE. I know someone mentioned online that she might be releasing a cookbook in the future. I believe it. Otherwise, why would she be having cooking scene after cooking scene after cooking scene? Don't you have servants for that? Just...ugh. So transparent. Like her at the meeting, being one way after from Erika (but you could see her wheels turning) and then another at the dinner. How else to explain the Gnat being there as her NotFaye? Again...transparent. DORIT. This ain't the one you want. And then that clip next week calling Garcelle a chickens*()? This week (with Production reciepts) bring up the orphans and widows as much as possible only to be lying to Erika's face when she was in front of her. Loved Garcelle chin checking her. 'Let me finish.' Finish what? Your attempt to lie? Yeeeeeah NO. NEXT!!! EX SOAP OPERA STAR She was doing so well. It was fun to see Lisa Rinna again. And then...just like that...she was back to Ex Soap Opera Star. Ugh!!! I didn't like her coming for Garcelle last week (and loved Garcelle calling her out on 'OWN IT') and I didn't like her thinking she was going to get Sutton to 'own it' either. Good thing Sutton shut her down with the quickness. Trash box. I bet she was the one who tipped Erika off about the party. Speaking of... ERIKA. So this much drama over Garcelle saying Tom calls her when she said something differently to everyone else and then thought Garcelle was being the villain and looking for a moment??? NO, BITCH, you...yes YOU...were the one looking for a moment. Why? Because YOU...GOT...CAUGHT. And this week she definitely came into that party being in the know. Otherwise she would have not even glazed over Garcelle or Sutton. Awkward chat or not, body language betrays everything and your body betrayed how much you probably knew. And sadly (for now) playing the victim card was not working on Sutton. So I loved her holding her feet to the fire. And I loved Garcelle backing her up when everyone but Kathy and Crystal was trying to throw Sutton under the bus. And now that we know...well, the general public knows...how LLC works, she will be hard pressed to have defenders. And thank you @Cheap21 for that looooong list of what was going on concurrently to filming. You know REAL STUFF. SUTTON. THANK YOU FOR THE SMOKING GUN!!!! Did these women get so distracted by glam that they forgot that this show is supposed to be about RICH BITCAS!!??? And Rich ones...DO have a reputation to worry about. And a lawsuit involving orphans, burn victims, and widows dating back 10 years NOT 3? Yeeeah, people are going to talk about it (c)Lisa Rinna. So Sutton did, discussed her worries, ANNNNND BROUGHT RECIEPTS. And just like that...she snatched the narrative that Coven was trying to paint of Erika just being the wronged victim? Yeeeeah no. Good job being sure you keep your diamond, GirL!!!! GARCELLE. LOVE every moment of her having Sutton's back. Love her gathering of Dorit. And I loved her being a 'grandma.' CRYSTAL. She cleans up reeeeal nice. I was the same as the others.
