12-30 And finally...it begins... Love the Sonny/Dante talk. Because finally FINALLY Sonny admits what MB has been playing since the Nixon Fall story ended...Mike is still in there and wants Nina. And now he's drunk with her as his driver. Uh oh. While I would not mind Jake with Liz, I have to admit that I was not minding the tension between him, Sam, and Dante this episode. Hehe at the Savoy shenanigans. But happy to see Lucy in any way I can get her. Bring on January....

Well quite a few Housewives are erratic, can form sentences that make no sense, have been known to be ignorant, and sadly can be racist. AND...? But seriously...in regards to Mary...and why I myself like her...well for one, she has not changed from her First Season. Which is a plus right there in a season where everyone has been about alliances something I have brought up since this season begin @Gray Bunnyrather than the friend group they appeared to be in Season 1. Mary has always been kooky for the most part, but still showed enough common sense to stir the pot like in Season 1 with her feud with Jen...all done while she was safely in her closet BTW. And the real shocker was at the reunion where she came, she saw, she gave great observations, and she shaded as needed. A more coherent Mary, but at the same time she still put it all out there...for best or for worse. And even in Season 2...outside of her forgetting she said things...she has STILL be telling the truth about things she said...like the woman who had the car accident...THAT was true and not just her being kooky. You can find the post from it waaaaaay back in the thread. She is an oddity, but she rarely says something that is not true. And even at the Pho dinner, she was doing and saying what WE ALL wanted to do or say about Jen and her arrest and spitting nothing, but truth in her confessional. But that again brings us back to her ability to not be able to articulate. Again, this is something I have also noticed. For the most part it has been fun since Season 1 how she does it. And I still laugh when I think of the phrase 'I smell hospital.' But that is something I do like about her. She has always reminded me of ShebySheree in her delusion about fashion and how good (or not) she is, but her ability to put foot in mouth has also been hilarious to watch. And she even brought a full grown feud to her with Jen due to her ability to not articulate. How can one not laugh because that is the definition of a petty feud...which HW shows used to be built upon. Now has it gotten her into hot water this season? Yes. Has she apologized for that comment? Yes...and as can be noted...moreso than OTHERS in her group who have done the same aka goose...gander. And as I've said before...I was happy Mary used a confessional to explain herself with the cartel comment which is what she was clealry trying to say. So I don't see why anyone can be upset when there is a reality show called CARTEL CREW on tv showing that very thing that she was trying to articulate about. Or are we picking and choosing when we as a 'verse' are going to be mad at someone making a mistake? Which brings me to the racist comment. Well, it's been a long time since I watched the Season 1 finale. I remember Mary putting her foot in her mouth over the 7 11 comment, but not being so much racist as classist. If I am wrong, early apologies. Just like in the case of LeeAnne over on RHOD, I have a different perspective on this as well. So just like LeeAnne, I just see her as ignorant. While I would have preferred Jeannie had a one on one with Mary explaining her feelings on the 'slanted eyes' comment, it does not take away from the fact she did tell Mary about her feelings and Mary clearly did not get it...at first. But she did see she had offended someone so Mary did what a normal human being would do when they see they made someone upset and did not know it...Mary APOLOGIZED. The fact that people are treating her like she is Frankenstein and waving cyberpitchforks at her as if they did not watch this scene or her confessionals explaining the Mexican thug comment quite honestly is telling to me...moreso when said people do not even keep that same energy for HWs who have done worse...and are still on their shows. And then her backstory...which is full of oddities and questions. I honestly wished one of these girls would go and find Mary's mother to give us the tea. I just cannot believe that in the pursuit of taking Mary down due to the fact that for someone who is not all there she can gather them...a black woman...in Utah. I guess I could see by location why they would be pressed. Gives air of the South where I was raised. But like I said, I do come from a different perspective as a person, so I see Mary differently. And that was me speaking on Mary as a person. Now as a viewer watching Mary...well, outside of Jen...she has been giving all season. And even from her closet last season she was giving. She has been a typical Housewife. Mixing it up. Or not. She has shown her background. She has not been boring...the kiss of death...even in family scenes. Last season her rivalry with Jen was the best part of the show outside of the drama with Meredith. And this season...we have a whole arrest with actual evidence out there, and Mary's name is STILL on everybody's lips with only gossip keeping it going. Heck, we have papers with Erika Jayne's writing on it. And we might get Jen's writing on Season 3. But Mary...not a thing. Not to say it is not out there...but it would have been nice to see that unfold or a smoking gun of some sort rather than 'he said this' and he could be discredited as a disgruntled ex-member of a church. And lest we forget Mary...can and WILL read you like a sculpture. She stayed entertaining. and created so many gifs and memes. But that's just my perspective on why I like Mary. I cannot speak for other people. I just hold that like for someone does not cause people here to think less of me for my like. In the land of Housewives, people's minds change so much so for all I know something will come out and I will be like 'naaah. can't like.' lol. But...time will tell. Oh speaking of... @Gray Bunny give me Ashley Darby over Little Girl any day. Still love hearing your thoughts all the same even if we see things different. lol. That Seth is. With Mary probably not coming back next season, I could see Little Girl being the next target. lol. Very true. I don't even mind Emily and Gina stirring the pot. I do wonder if it will come back to bite them though.

Yeah now that Andy finally confirmed...I'm going to miss Sister Mary for moments like THIS. ETA: Okay, fake Mary account, but she would totally do something like this. lol.

1-4 Oh, lord...and then she unraveled some more. lol. Yeah, Sheila pushing Brooke off the wagon (and Deacon struggling as well) and Brooke completely and utterly losing her s&*( is doing wonders for this show right now. And then that coda where she poured out the vodka, stares at the bottle with sadness (and longing)...that was just so well done. As has been the flashback to NYE. And already they are dropping crumbs...Thomas's son trying to warn Liam, but Liam not getting it, Deacon questioning the bottles, Brooke trying to piece it all together...I hope they don't figure out it was Sheila too soon, but let it build a little bit. I like these are all puzzle pieces. And they should be dealt with one by one. Meanwhile, work on Sheila making those inroads with Finn. Outside of a brief aftermath of the Paris/Carter kiss and a nice talk scene between Deacon and Liam...nothing really going on so far this week. It's all about Brooke.

OC While it had its moments...FILLER. Like I said about SLC, I just felt that the break took the momentum. So they have to build it up again. Of course, we do have Gina and Emily stirring the pot so that should happen. This week was about Dr. Jen vs Noella while we still deal with the mystery of Noella and this divorce. I do feel that on one hand, she is being transparent. She has the sympathetic vote for me. I'm not blind to the questions or the fact she might not be what she seems. After all, I have seen it online and she mentioned it on the show and I also loved it was emphasized again....she was friends (were they dating, too?) with BRAUNWYN. And in the end with her, did we not see how fake Braunwyn was? Will it end up how that ended up? I hope not. Like I've said so far, Noella is having a great freshman season. And that is being done by her being transparent so I would hope she is not really smoke and mirrors. Meanwhile, Shannon is off on her own little island. And it was so noticable this episode. Thankfully, she still has a friend in Noella. While her scenes to me this week were boring post-Heather confrontation, I trust Shannon will find something quirky to bring up if she continues to be a little island. THING I LOVED. POORLY LIT: THE MAKING OF A PETTY FEUD. I hollered when Noella said TO JEN'S FACE that her tagged photo was poorly lit. She gathered Jen with the quickness and I was here for it. Lol. And then to add more juicy drama, when she heard Jen badmouthing her to Heather, Noella got in that face again. THAT'S Housewife for you. And now...Dr. Jen is on the warpath, talking about Noella to Heather, Gina, Emily, and Nicole...about if Noella really had a marriage. Oh, really, Dr. Jen? It's like that. Guess Noella's words stung when you should have left it alone. And the cherry on top? Emily telling Noella about what was said about her by Dr. Jen. So this feud (with the subfeud with Heather by Dr. Jen) is FAR for over. And I'm here for that. HEHE. KEEPING IT REAL. I am always here for when people get on camera who have never been on a reality tv show. So Shannon bring her daughter's boyfriend on camera to film was a little bit of a hoot. SHE SAID ALL THAT? DAYYYYY-UUUUMMM!!! lol. Gina gives great confessional. And even Terry had some good moments, sipping his drink in the background. STIRRING THE POT. Yes, Gina and Emily. Emily telling off on Dr. Jen. Gina telling off on Noella. As Shannon would say, stirring the pot, girl. stirring the pot. It will be interesting to see how the little bombs explode, but yep. I see you. Learned from the best though. THINGS I DID NOT LIKE. OH...? THERE'S MORE. Noella was on WWHL tonight and before I zoned out, she mentioned that her and Nicole had a talk about that day at the lunch when Nicole looked uncomfortable. It was interesting that it was off camera. But then she mentioned something about things deleted and I side-eyed Production because it sounds like Production made Nicole look worse than she was...though Nicole still looked bad apparently. Just rme. WOW. LEAD BALLOON. I was kinda hoping that after that cliffhanger, that Shannon might actually come back verbally swinging. So I was saddened that she acted like a puppy with his tail between his legs. And then Heather had her apologize to Terry, too. I almost hoped Shannon's man would step in so we could have the Dubrows vs the Baedors Part 2 since he did not like how that went down and said so, but alas... NOT AGAIN. While I enjoyed Gina and Emily's pot stirring a lot more than Little Girl and Lint's...the fact that it made me think of SLC worries me. With friends like these...are they really friends?

So we still have blocked areas in my postal job. Something my co-workers like to move and not put back. Given our neighborhood, I keep telling them to put it back. So I came out of the restroom to see some woman on the wrong side of the corner. I gave a look. Then I took them about that. And some customer I guess thought she was A or B rather than the C in our conversation and said our talk was a waste of time. LITTLE GIRL I told her starting and finishing is another service we provide here and she might want to sit this one out. The entitlement when my brother is dealing with CoVid is not allowed...unless you want to get dragged...which I can completely do. AKA (as I told my coworkers) she can STFU.

SLC So...it's all about Mary now? Interesting that the girls come gunning for Mary when what the audience really want to know about is Jen's arrest. The aftermath. The tea. But going after a woman who allegedly has done something over the woman who HAS done something? How...BH of you all. smh. I thought the episode was kinda there. The hiatus killed the momentum. Until the Wild Rose relaunch. Then it was just crazy. Not as crazy as the Pho lunch, but crazy all the same. I guess they thought they were going to gang up on Mary. And she surprised everyone by...APOLOGIZING. Which was the point...right? Or was it just a case to make Jeannie seem relevant? I suspect the latter given what's going on on Twitter. I do love that Mary was able to example the cartel comment from a few episodes ago. THANK YOU. I figured as much and it surprises me (or should it?) that people are quick to call it something it is not. JEN. Just ugh. One moment she's providing comedic relief. The next moment here she is with her mother. And seeing what was going on with her case, all I can do is smh. That said...she was giving great and hilarious confessionals throughout the relaunch party. UTAH LYDIA (c) @Cat. While I continue to love her dynamic with her man, I really was not feeling her. Uh oh. For me...she was not nearly as entertaining as I am used to from her. If anything she was just trying to be as relevant as Jeannie was trying to be with this attempted gangup...yeah, no. It's no wonder that her relationship with Meredith is suffering. As usual, I loved Mary checking her and letting her know what a sucky person she's being and how that was two faced. MEREDITH. If she only knew, she's next per next week's promo. But I was happy to see her (and foine Seth btw) having Mary's back. She was not about to let these heffas sit there and gang up on her. And that was admirable. Moreso since she made the right point in comparing Mary to Jen and how this group was treating both. Like the great lawyer educated that she is. I am sad to see her and Mary falling out online...and her and Jen allegedly making up...right before the reunion filming Thursday, but for now, I loved her dynamic with Mary and her having her back. HEATHER. Lint. Thank you, next. LITTLE GIRL. Should you be focus on your rebrand? Why would you want drama at YOUR party, overshadowing your relaunch...I mean this is really a BIG deal for you due to lack of money, right? Why that dress? I mean...really, heffa? This week was yet another attempt by Little Girlto to think she was grown. And yet continued to be a poor man's Ashley Darby. #girlbye Exhibit A...the fact that once Mary apologized and everyone tried to move on...or when Meredith checked Utah Lydia...here we go with Little Girl not wanting to let it go. And then she tried to draw attention to Utah Lydia vs Mary in the middle of her speech...you know for her relaunch. Little Girl...come better, babe. And then that silly Twitter video where she tagged everyone BUT La Dame with her growing empire OR Kandi aka one of the richest Housewife BUT SHE is supposed to be about her rebrand. To quote Kandi...whatever ho. JEANNIE. While I could understand why she made her feeling known...she is transparent as well. And looked waaaaay too smug when Jen and Meredith smoothed over the first two attempts to gang up on Mary only to have Little Girl bring all back to a gang up. It just seem like her attempt to be relevant and since Utah Lydia took over that...FLOP!!!! PS. Whether he is good or not, she might want to focus on the fact her husband was flirting with FOH Angie and her friend than with her. MARY. For all of her oddities, I liked that she held her own. And I loved how she apologized, taking the wind out of those mean girl wannabes' sails. I loved her she used humor to lighten that mood. And once she realized they would not let up on her, she walked away. Clever woman. And I LOVED that she was allowed to explain her comment from a few episodes...which again...I understood. And I do not like the attacks on her when others have done faaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr worse *cough*Ramona*cough* It has always been clear that when it comes to social cues, Mary has a problem articulating. Now when it comes to someone coming for her that should have sat there and ate their food, Sister Mary is going to gather them ALL...THE...WAY...TOGETHER. Given the news that her and Meredith fell out...I do wonder how she will be pivoting...or is this her last season? We'll see. I am looking forward to Lint/Little Girl vs Meredith...who will be a whole other beast than Mary.
