You're not. First of all, I hope you got to see those first 4 seasons with the original music. I haven't seen Season 8 since it first aired, but as they were one of the first teen shows to show High School AND college to its completion (no time jumping), I remember Fox doing good promotion for that season and it did feel like it was the end of the room. You also felt like Kelly and Val were doing final battle and I thought they FINALLY had them deal with each other after all that Season 5 and especially Season 6 mess. Hilary Swank, I remember her. I am not sure Steve was ready to 'grow up' by that point and the show definitely didn't need a moppet, but I don't remember disliking her myself. I would be really curious to see if I felt the same way on a rewatch though. Well if you keep going, do tell what you thought.

Oh, yes. I had just woken up and was making coffee. So imagine me having Y&R in the background, looking up at the TV and went....OOOOOHHHH???? NO ONE MENTIONED THIS IN THE Y&R THREAD. RhoDubai Spoiler alert for @Cat...this week was the reception, next week (with those LoL alum who will be getting speaking parts) is the wedding. There is a brief (too brief for me) of Sophie Stanbury though. Be on the lookout. However this week...the drama exploded. Brooks vs Sara. Up until now, I would say the drama has been petty and not really serious at all. But THIS was SERIOUS. Annnnnnd MESSY. This was not at all on my bingo card let me tell you!!! And from Sara. BUT...WOW. I guess leading up to this though Production was foreshadowing then. I have been fascinated by Sara since the start. But NOT so fascinated that I have not caught onto how messy she can be. And Production has made sure we see that behind her smile and talks of women empowerment that she can be messy. Because sending a group text to let everyone know what was up, rather than just talking to Brooks one on one? That simply just allowed Brooks to control the narrative, using the very character trait (wanting women to do better) that the other ladies have already picked up on and don't completely like when Sara talks. And goodness knows Brooks has established she's thirsty. Just look at how she attacked poor, struggling Nina at Caroline's reception because she only THOUGHT Nina was pot stirring. Looking for a moment. Now I heard online...but tweets to my knowledge have been deleted...that there's more to this that Production did not show, but Brooks and Sara BOTH verify that Nina WAS NOT the pot-stirrer for this case of miscommunication. So only going off of what I saw...Sara looks messy, Brooks looks thirsty and was drunk...so that was a powder keg bound to explode. AND THE CONFRONTATION!!! I want (so far) to say a draw. Sara GOT...BROOKS...ALL...THE...WAY...TOGETHER. Sweet Sara. Nice Sara. Her claws came out when she defended herself and the words she used, and she was a fierce bitca. However, Brooks is no lazy mom (pun unintended) either, and she was arguing with her point by point. I honestly cannot pick a side because they both did something wrong, but at the same time they both had a valid point. It was just communicating the right words. And most importantly...do that SOBER. Because that escalated so fast that a PRODUCER had to step in. And right now I'm not sure if they stepped in because it's illegal in Dubai to yell and scream in public or because there is some tea that the ladies were about to spill on each other. What does Sara know about Brooks...or was she just saying that Brooks should allow herself to be vulnerable when she said real? What does Brooks know about Sara...or was she bluffing when she said the Sara we are seeing is not the real Sara? Do they have tea? I guess we will find out next week. Meanwhile...Caroline and her reception. It was good. And it was funny that she thought Ayan was trying to upstage her in a wedding dress. Firstly...not a wedding dress. Secondly...she DID upstage you. And thirdly...she gathered her quickly, too. But their feud...as mentioned above is a petty and fun one. If last week was the start of real drama...well...it has not consumed the vibe of this show yet...but it continues this one and next. Be on ready. Things are getting juicy. CAROLINE. And Caroline continues to have to work for her worth. And not just the rivalry with Ayan, either...which was hilarious that she is so threatened over something so silly...though it was even more hilarious Ayan gathered her swiftly. What I meant was the drama with the family. I don't think they EVER showed Caroline's parents on LADIES OF LONDON. Dad appeared to be nice, but a product of his environment. But her mother...hmmm...same? And then meeting Boy Toy's parents. That could be some interesting blended family drama there. In time. AYAN. Stays winning. Sorry, not sorry. The episode started with her being...yes, shallow true...but hanging with her son. Nothing wrong with that. As usual she was also hanging with Lesa....now see Caroline, THAT is how you join with a married woman and a husband!!! And the silly drama with Caroline was a hoot. She was pretty much a side character this week. And a funny one at that. LESA. Not as much a side character, but at the same time a side character. Or perhaps I should say she (like Nina) was the go-to. NINA. Poor Nina. All the stuff going on with her father, and THIS happened. She was strong for not only showing up for the reception, but having to deal with a drunk Brooks. And she was classy all the way because I would have had tell Brooks off if it was me or firmly check her. BROOKS. Why did you have to go at Nina like that? It just seem like Brooks...while some of her points are valid...was searching for a moment. In a way...she got one with Sara. But I can't say that I like that she was spreading around the group. Though...so did Sara so... SARA. Still like her somewhat, but she was messy for that group message. Granted, Brooks was doing the same thing. But...for the most part, the drama was mostly on Brooks. Now Sara also have 'blood' on her hands for what she's been doing. Well, I cannot say it's not organic drama from such a simple question, but it does make one wonder if the drama is no longer organic. And she DID...NOT...BACK...DOWN. Nice girl got them claws. lol. Can't wait until next week.

Just the spoils of riches. I had a rough day yesterday, but THIS is making it better. One of the few blondes that makes me squirm something fierce. And I just noticed a bulge. Those legs (and the squats that created them) were made for being thrown over some shoulders...or just wrapping. WOOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That laying on the floor one is EVERYTHING.

I see. I agree. Since one of my jobs is in the postal industry, I can say I still see him on plenty of covers whether it is about his music, being a representative of gay people, or just in magazines about his home decor. And he's been highly visible from what I can tell in the last year or so. So I am really curious to see how this will be handled.

RHoDubai Well-deserved catch up. And I do believe they are jelling. I know that I've mentioned how Caroline Stanbury was in over her head on this show versus being the HBIC on LADIES OF LONDON. That the usual tricks she was used to using on there was not going to work here. So what else can she do, but step it up? She definitely is not the fan fave here (that's Ayan) and not the most fascinating (that would be Sara, Lesa, etc). However, Caroline Stanbury has never been STUPID. So it's been interesting in my catchup that she has been stepping it up. That said...I LOVE Lesa gathering her a$% at the windy brunch. Episode 5 had the appearance of Shady Phae Phae. It was decent. They gave her a whole entrance and everything. But given she was in that and ALL STARS 2, it does seem like she has a comeback in order...unless that recent interview she did where she doubles down (from what I heard) on the events of RHOA S9 sabotages that. Haven't seen ALL STARS 2 outside of clips, but I didn't mind her here. And look at Caroline trying to suck up to her. Episode 6 gave us...the gays. And I feel...??? I know from social media and just here, that was a concern about having a HW show in Dubai. And it was perplexing for me to see them. Why? When it comes to politics and history...I always go back to my 7th grade Civics class. The truth of the matter...for me...is that I felt like this...the people in charge of a state (or country's)'s media are very good at editing it to see and show what they want the outside world to see. There's a reason why we have the quote about how the winners are the ones who write history. I felt like Caroline and Brooks having gay friends there (and we have seen glances of gay men before now) was really for show. Because if it IS true about how Dubai treats gay people, then should they not be worried about being in whole scenes and their faces shown? Are they in danger? What kinda of deal was worked out to show them? I have questions. lol. But it felt like Production wanted to have their cake and eat it, too. On the other hand, I did not mind seeing new recurring characters. And hopefully, this might make some people feel better about the concerns. Time will tell. CAROLINE. You better run, bitca!!! HAHAHAHA!!! I think I am the only person who still likes her on this board, but that does not mean that I did not enjoy each and every minute of Lesa gathering her and letting Caroline know what time it was. Caroline did start that. And yes, those microaggressions she kept throwing at Lesa (which Lesa rightly corrected) was not good...you are well spoken so choose your words better...but in the end at least the words 'I'm sorry' came out of her mouth...even if it was stuffed with a french fry. I also did not like in Episode 5 how she cut her man off at the knees. But I don't like her bringing him around to EVERY event, either. But I thought it was very telling how she flinched when Brooks was talking about boarding school...the first sign of a heart under that icy exterior we have gotten from her. Moreso since she was just talking about how boarding school made her into the person we see here and on LoL. She also did the right thing by not voicing her opinion outright since it was not her place. It felt like to me that she is seeing that she is misstepping on this show and she has to come better. And so far, so good. AYAN. If she's going to give anything...she is going to give LOOKS. To think she started the season as THAT bitca. She STILL is, but I feel the softening they have been doing on her...through her friendships with Lesa and Sara AND her love/hate relationship with Brooks...has been successful. And she can just be...herself. And I LOVE what she wore to see Sara at Sara speech thingy. THE MILAN. Just MMMMMMMMMMM. That's how you do icy. She gathered Caroline efficiently, did not yell, and did it all looking fabulous. And no matter how Caroline tried to throw up excuses, Lesa let her know with every word, every stare, every bit of her body language...there was none. In the end, all Caroline could do was apologize. It was flawless. NINA. Someone said that she favors RHOD's D'Andra and now I cannot unsee it!!! They even have similar Confessional humor. Sad about her father though. When my mother had Co-Vid and I could not just up and travel, I know that is not a good feeling to have so I felt that. BROOKS. Look at her with the gay friends!!! She started off so great. Her shade. Her relationship with Shady Phae Phae. Her bonding with Ayan and Sara. But she went a little cray cray on her gay friend and Sara. On one hand, I can understand since she is a black mama. However SHE asked for Sara's opinion. I do feel something was lost in the translation, but WOW she got a little TOO triggered. SARA. I stay loving seeing her at work. And her friendship with Ayan will always be funny to me. For now...I would say Team Sara. Brooks asked her a question. So she gave her opinion on it. Unlike with her stirring the pot between Ayan/Lesa vs Caroline, I do not feel she was trying to cause drama here. Still going good for me.

I agree. When I was watching I remember how RC kept trying to make Sarah happen with Rex, happen with Eric, but the chemistry she had was WITH XANDER. And the audience ate up that good girl/bad boy dynamic a la Lexie Grey/McSteamy where the good girl has an edge but does not want the bad boy and the bad boy...actually likes and falls in love with the good girl. But...they tossed Sarah in a trunk...and the story died...it sounds like. Sad since they definitely had supercouple potential. And....what is this I hear about Mr. Tinker and his arms today???
