tbf, he was actually rocking the dad bod there for a bit. While I felt he could bring that primal caveman lust look...especially during his amnesiac storyline which is where I felt he look his finest aka primal caveman...I never found him attractive at all during his prime frat boy days aka when he was younger. Funny since I loved the story of Nick/Sharon/Matt back in the day. For me, he's aged like fine wine lookwise. Or it's just the scruff. But like I said...from the amnesiac storyline to now, I know he's an acquired taste in the look departments. I know this cheese stands alone. It doesn't help he has a nice bubble either and a cameraman on this show that is extremely good at camera angles also does not help. I guess I can see why JM doesn't like to wear suits in real life. But I should probably stop right there before this turns into a...risque conversation. hehe. Exactly! Young Nick is sooo forgettable barring his Nikki comparison to Victoria's Victor comparison that used to go on back in the day under William Bell.

I definitely remember SB being a chameleon versus how HB played him so I totally agree. And I remember how hard it was for SB to pull off with the writing, but still...he had it.

Thank you. From moment one. And even from sporadic viewing and a CarJacker, even I knew people were complete fools to try to get in-between those two. They had IT.

I am definitely curious to see where this thread goes. While the IT girls are more defined, I think the IT guys are going to be elusive. Because from what was listed so far, I would say Victor...regardless of his beginnings...is (and continues to be in some parts of the world) an IT guy. From decades, men wanted to be him and women wanted to be with him in terms of fan opinion. Even now, he could post a picture on Twitter (and people have) and people immediately know him and want to be that powerful. At any moment even now, he could easily dominate any part of the canvas he chooses. Like an IT girl he is definitely connected to so many parts of the canvas that it is easily to drop him into it. And some of that is down to the writing. And some of that is down to the actor. Love him or hate him, EB does embody his character and has been there so long, no one could replace him with that kind of flavor that EB brings to Victor. Even as background, parts of the show revolve around him. I would also say the same for Roger though while I was not around for most of his story, his reputation DEFINITELY preceded him so I knew what people would be up against. And Michael definitely embodied his character as well with a charisma that that recast could not duplicate. Same.

Which is what I've been saying as well. Especially since all the storylines connected to him, some of which were dropped, are all coming to a head. All we are missing is a big event to climax them on. Honestly, I was meh. lol. At first. But I've mentioned that I wanted to see Esme spinned off into Joss/Cam's orbit post Sprina drama. But now that the writers gave Dex a bit of backstory...not to mention how he's a double agent, too...I see potential in them. But I do feel for Cam. After all that buildup between him and Joss.

11-18 I thought it was a good week that got stalled by episodes playing recatch. Ugh. That said...OF COURSE, BILL WOULD MAKE THAT PLAY FOR BROOKE!!! Is anyone surprised really? I admit that I was SURPRISED that Carter overheard. Would they really let us see Carter vs Dollar Bill? I know it's been a running joke for ages with us here, but it could be fun to see them 'mark' their territory. Maybe I should take it back. For all the stalling...it has a good build. And I really want to see how it goes down. And I do wonder where Taylor goes from here. So...there is that.

11-18 Well, I see Joshua Morrow has been working out. lol. So...they are actually going to do this...Nick/Sally. I liked that she wants to do it all on her own. But I also liked Adam did warn her that it's always about Nick and SHARON. lol. No lies there. Still...I've been enjoying this triangle. And will continue to do so because I don't see Adam just letting go. Though the drama with Billy and Chelesa will probably keep him busy as the rest of Genoa City react to Nick/Sally. HAHAHAHA!!!! at Diane going to Jack first and proceeding to blow the Coven and Tucker out of the water. She warned them, too. I just was not expecting her to go right ahead since that was her trump card. I do hope there is some good fallout. Judging from her putting Phyllis and Tucker on notice...there will be. And I'm always here for Ashley vs Jack. Uh oh. I didn't like that look Noah was giving Audra at all. I'm kinda tired of Sharon being a supporting character. It's time for her to get her story on as well. That was his loss...and what got him kicked out in the end if I remember correctly. I also remember AND MISS Juliet. She had soooooo much potential. But a lot of the characters who came on under SSM's brief run did.

11-17 One thing you can almost always say about B&B. They will give fashion and looks. LOVE the dress Taylor has been wearing the last two days. That would be a great wedding dress which I don't feel is the point, but she still looked breathtaking. And Steffy with the lacy dress was great, too. And yes, Finn was looking FOINE in his suit. But I am itching to see how this is all about to come out. Anticipating some fun episodes.

11-15 Well, I hate to say it, but it feels like momentum is back. I really enjoyed the Devon/Abby/Amanda/Chance mess. I hate that we appear to be losing Amanda, but they all gave good scenes. I am curious to say where it goes from here given the promo over in the Spoiler thread and the theories. And I was living for Diane vs The Coven. She gave as good as she got. And her 'you would know' to Phyllis...hehe...that just happened last week on RHOP so the shade was flawless. I would mind REAL Diane coming out. And the threat she gave Tucker. Nice. I would love to see where this will go after weeks on not much development.

DURBAN Yeah, 3 episodes in, I'm really liking it. I think so far Annie is my favorite. And that one housewife and her gay brother over the trainer was a hoot. And then there's that one Housewife that reminds me of an black version of Kari from M2M. But this babymama??? Ugh!!! I don't like her. One minute she is thinking of her kids or being sympathetic. The next minute she is being shady with her mother and sister. Just screams cover time for me rather than being authentic...which is what I get from the woman who was married to the star before he died.

That's true. I know JG can play a complex character with a clear agenda from her being Grace (who I loathed) on Y&R so it's sad how they write Donna sometimes.

She was my first guess when Ava was attacked because she had missing time and Nikolas had to cover for her. But it looked like it was a red herring just due to the other attacks. But now that they appear to be connected through Trina...and even post-reveal Liz is STILL acting funny rather than getting better...I'm starting to wonder again. Especially that Liz/Carly scene. RH was playing it how she was playing scenes with Finn back when this started. It was like it was Liz, but it WASN'T Liz. Like someone else was there. It was a great scene, but also odd. I mean would they do that to her for her 25th anniversary though...?

LOL!!! And considering OLTL was my ABC soap...that is saying something. Just...can't...take...your...eyes...off...her . Even my coworker who is a DAYS fan and never watched GH know who Vanessa was on that show. You know what? I never thought of Carly that way, but...I agree. Once she married Sonny, she truly rose up in the ranks. As for DAYS...YES. I have heard Julie was the IT girl back in the day long before I saw her for the first time on screen. But once I did, I have loved her ever since. Her story can err and flow and she STILL runs with very little to give a show and just has IT. For me, I would say the same for Marlena. I'm just as happy to see her as I would be if I saw Brenda pop up. And I do feel that it's because she endures. And I used to love when SOD would fun shade all the time because Marlena has LITERALLY done everything (Going to Heaven coming soon and need we even mention being possessed by the Devil?) so would be the perfect therapist because anything you throw at her, she's already gone through it. Ah, the fun of soaps. After Marelena, I too would say Hope. I am one of the few here that loved Gina, but KA really could turn on a switch and move from Hope to this other person. And she dominated. But I've always been a sucker for a female henchman (Celeste for Stefano comes to mind) and she was a great one for Stefano for a minute. As Hope...when she got a story...she also dominated. She just has that spark. Oops. I didn't mean to ramble.

Hehe. THIS. Each time...bad writing or not...when she appears...she has been IT. And if they were to write for her now, I would expect more of the same.

11-14/15 Hahahahahaha!!!! Look at Laura!!! Playing in everyone's face!!!! After decades of seeing her on the defense, it's nice to see that now that she is back in town...Laura is on the offense. Can we keep her like this? I thought that was a great Sprina scene. But I do agree that perhaps they should have had it a while back. Like right before Spencer was put in jail. But I get why. I blame the writers for having them vanish for a good minute outside of trying to build up dislike drama between her and Curtis. And yes, AC was on vaca, but still...smh. Now I'm worried they are going to vanish again. A shame between after that scene, I would like to see more. Speaking of Cassindine...this recast though. I said the other day he was giving RKK Stravos vibes in his scenes with Esme. But watching him with everyone else...watching...it is so eerie how much he was successfully mimicking MC's version of Nikolas. The hand gestures. The glances. That coming up behind Ava when she was at the door. Those pants...eventually...hehe. He clearly studied him, but yet he still had his own presence. Charisma if you will. Now I admit that he has some nice chemistry with RH as well...something I don't see with MC. Speaking of Liz...I LIVE for Carly/Liz scenes. And I loved these latest ones. You really could feel the history between the two of them as Liz was being so cold about her parents. And for the first time, I thought Carly was the right person for her to talk to given Carly's adventure down in Florida. I felt they were everything in their scene that the writers would like Sam/Carly to be, but they don't have it. Oh, Jeff showed up in town. And got punched. hehe. As for Anna...dare it if they don't have me cheering for her and Valentin. Which reminds me...I think the build to them as a couple was very well paced for the most part. But it did sneak up on people so it felt earned...if that makes sense.
