  1. Talk shows I can understand, but I remember when they were the norm and hand-in-hand with soaps. But extra hours of news...? Yeeeah NO.
  2. So next on the show chopping block then?
  3. 7-27 I'm sorry. That coda with Victor in his chair and Michael revealing that Ashland's car was found and his body was in it. The music with the fade out on Victor's powerful image was perfection. And intriguing. Granted I should not be shocked that Victor did what he had to protect his family. But that was still a powerful image. Now...that said...now he knows better than to let them think that he was not involved in that body disappearing. Will probably just be trouble. Now this is not the first time they had Nick and Sally around each other. Would they go there? Assuming Adam stops playing games with Sally.
  4. Same. I almost want to do a rewatch. She did such a great job between the two sisters. I definitely wanted to know more about Siobhan. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
  5. They really did. And it always felt organic even if it took years for them to find the right recast. It was part of why I loved it BITD as a regular viewer.
  6. 7-28 OMG! I am hollering. Li was about to beat Mike's butt! I've enjoyed the wind up to the FInn/Steffy reunion. Bill finding Li. The time it took for someone to recognize her. Finn struggling with Sheila. Ridge and Taylor on their way to Monaco (yay for location shoot!). And that talk before they got on the plane between Taylor and Deacon...already setting up the next plot. And now Finn is on Bill's private jet...all washed up...and FOINE. Yes, I'm ready.
  7. YASSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stumbled onto some scenes coming up for me (I'm a week behind now) and I was thinking...'why haven't Ava slapped this heffa yet?' So THANK...YOU. CAN...NOT...WAIT. Re: Scott and Elizabeth's anniversary...WOW. That is a shame nothing was done for either...even something like Scott being a father figure for her. That was a good idea to link them together.
  8. OOooooo. She beat Shady Phae Phae to the punch.
  9. *falls over again*
  10. Not even LEMONADE? *falls over* But seriously, we will have to agree to disagree.
  11. I admit that it is building nicely. Can't wait either.
  12. RHoDubai I thought it was a good episode. I was saddened to see Ayan defuse Brooks vs Sara, but it seems that fight is really going to take off next week. It's like a nice little subplot now...something this show needs right now. This week was also about Caroline Stansbury's wedding. It was nice. It was beautiful. There was humor in the form of the running joke about Sergio always crying. And there were LADIES OF LONDON CAMEOS!!!! I did not think Sophie (notice this week they are labeling her as Caroline's EX sister-in-law)'s hair was up to her standards last week, but she got it together quickly. And she was fabulous. She also allowed us into some of Caroline's inner life during the pregnancy talk to Sergio. And there's Juliet being Juliet...and got checked by Lesa. Annnnd LUKKKKKKKEEEE!!! OMFG!!!!...he and Ayan together are the couple that I didn't know I needed. They were great together. In fact, it was funny how Ayan got on with ALL of Caroline's friends (except Juliet of course cuz...Juliet...if you saw LoL you get it...though loved her chainmail shirt at brunch). Could you imagine if Caroline and Ayan actually got along??? Speaking of getting along, the episode ended on Brooks and her mother. And that is something that I love about this show so far. Just when you think someone is one thing, the producers show someone who allows us to get into the inner life of that castmate and see things from their point of view. Ayan came in hard, but through her scenes with Lesa, her family, and Sara, you saw the reasoning behind how she thinks. I felt the same watching Brooks with her mother. Speaking of Ayan...her in the dress for brunch gliding in...was EVERYTHING. CAROLINE. Caroline continues to pull her weight. We have the wedding. We have the LoL cameos. We have light fun with Ayan and Lesa. And I loved the continued drama with Sergio over having a baby. And the fact that he is not listening to her. Yeah, I see nothing, but drama there. The fact he was not even listening to what Sophie was trying to tell him. The last time Caroline had a baby, she almost died. It would be so much more complicated now given her age. He was not getting it. AYAN. Her and that dress at brunch. I don't think there has been any time when Ayan gone somewhere that she has not given looks. And she said as much. I don't find it fake because she's done that from what I can tell on screen AND off screen. I think she is really like this. And I cannot say that I hate it. And her walking with her son in that fashion show...I got tears. LOVE. And please...can we get more of her and Luke...I loved how he got her instantly...but I'm sure he is used to being around models. LESA. LET HER KNOW, GREG!!! lol. What do I mean? I mean her checking Juliet. Juliet thought she would come in and cause drama with Ayan and Lesa. And I love that neither of them were having it. But it was Lesa for me at brunch. Yes, Juliet has a point. Caroline has made it clear since her LoL days, that she is the star and should shine brighter than anyone else. And Lesa said she ain't letting anyone shine brighter than her; get used to it. I was here for it. Thank you! And I loved her (and Brooks) went to support Ayan at her fashion show. #friendsgoals NINA. Was going through it. But was in it very little. SARA. Ooooo at her next week!!!!!!!!! She got up and got in Brooks's face like an ATL Housewife. It will definitely make up for this week where Ayan and Lesa came in to stop her fight with Brooks. I had a moment again if Brooks is right about what she said about Sara. Have we seen the real Sara? BROOKS. Like I mentioned, Ayan became softer as the season has gone on because we saw her with other people who we sympathized with. Here we had Brooks with her mother. And it allowed me to understand Brooks a little bit better. HOWEVER...I noticed that her mother had a few side-eye moments as if she knew more than she was saying. Things to make you go hmmm. Ready for next week and Brooks vs Sara Round 2.
  13. Yeah, I am starting to concur as well. re: Marlo. Don't get me started on OC. I still have to finish the season. And I liked Noella in all her drama. And I liked Elizabeth, too, and wanted her to have a second season.
  14. Uh... Well...I'm here for Kristen having some measure of power again. I saw some of the scenes where she revealed she was in charge of Basic Black to Brady/Chloe and admit I was intrigued for the trouble she would bring their way.
  15. When working out works AGAINST you. Or as Nene Leakes would say...NEVERLAND. Speaking of Alex...yeeeeah, watching the scenes. I would say it was too soon to bring RSW back. I miss the days on this show especially when if you were going to do a recast, you let there be some time between actors/actresses and I remember DAYS being especially good at that back in the 90s. Actor gone, so build up the other characters/stories and bring them back at just the right time of dramatic tension.
  16. THANK YOU!!! ALL OF THIS!!! I've been saying for a while that I don't like that Finn's family...which has had adequate show time over the last few years...have not only started to hog screen time that is coming across VERY forced, but has taken Elizabeth's storyline hostage. It had been paced soooooooo well for the most part and now that we got to a turn/climax of sorts...she...VANISHES. And it's all about FINN'S pain. In HER story. And Gregory can have seats. He's a circle in a square peg for Alexis where Harmony was so it's just meh. And again...forced. It honestly feels like they are sabotaging Elizabeth's story. Then again...playing catchup right now, I do wonder if the reason they are stalling her story is because of that Blind Item in the Spoiler section of this board. It is the only reason that would make sense. If so...yeeeeah, I'm with you...RECAST. There are plenty of soap vets out there and available.
  17. 7-22 Now why did Victoria even let him in? RMY. That said...I didn't mind the week so much. I think the only thing that bugged me was Chelesa. And I hate to admit it, but I'm intrigued by a friendship between Chloe and Sally. Speaking of Sally, I felt that old underdog B&B vibe from her and I wish they would lean into that more for her versus weak henchwoman to Adam. I like she sees through his act. But I wish she would think of something to really put the screws to him. Phyllis/Nikki/Ashley against Diane. I just feel that is going to blow up in their faces. I do love that Ashley is on Phyllis's side for a change and told Jack that much. I was as shocked as he was. I'm sorry, but I'm liking Noah and Allie. I do think it has been nicely paced. That said...it is time for a dash of drama. But what could it be? Hmmm. Where's Imani? lol.
  18. 7-19 Brando. TJ (ESPECIALLY!!! hehe). Cody. Dante (woof!). Someone is trying to get all the sauna time in as they can! I'm not complaining! lol. Playing catch-up. The trial for Trina is off to a slow start and I want to shake Joss. I've been enjoying seeing the Rory/Trina/Spencer triangle develop. And I'm happy for that because now that Spencer saw Rory and Trina kiss, he's finally started to be more pro-active like how he was when he came back to town rather than a wounded puppy. Watching him vs Esme and I'm thinking FINALLY!!! When he was Ava's stalker, he was more cunning. And it's about time the writers remembered that as he presses Esme. Nina as owner of Metro Court. I bet Carly is PO. Sad Laura is gone. But...perfect time for the House of Cassandine to fall apart. Yeeeah not feeling Britt/Cody. Too forced for me. And I still feel that the writers are going to tie Cody into a legacy family.
