  1. I knew he was engaged, but wow.
  2. He's Adam Reynolds from the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
  3. So the reunion REALLY is going to be a bloodbath.
  4. It was love at first sight...sorry though he's short. 😜 Second week of February needs to hurry up and get here. hehe.
  5. I wasn't a regular viewer during Eric/Quinn and Quinn/Carter, but it sounded like with Eric/Quinn it was a well timed, not sloppy, plot twist. At least from reading about it. Quinn/Carter...didn't they interact a little bit over time and the writers noticed a spark and wrote it in so it was semi-gradual. From what I read. Because this Bill/Sheila was definitely abrupt vs they should have showed a subtle scene here and there and then went in for the plot twist. I agree with you that Sheila has mentioned resources before. I could see her meaning this as well. Could this have been a long game? hmmmm
  6. I would say the same. I remember not caring for Megan myself, but by the time she left, I was invested...a sign of great writing. Either could have come back under other writing regimes and still had some connection to the canvas I felt and the audience would have liked to see them. But yeah...their dad was the weak link. And even I was like...Jill...really?? I didn't even realize he had died during Tricia's madness storyline until a year or so ago. And I felt nothing for him outside of Tricia's reaction and feelings.
  7. OMG! Mary really was. As a tween to teenager to YA growing up, I lived for when Paul would get a new woman because YOU KNEW shade was coming her way when Mary met her. Poor Isabella lol. I know Genoa City isn't in the South but she was such a Southern woman with her nice nasty. But you are right. She did live such a clean life. I know she would driven Gloria even more crazy than the Abbotts. No doubt.
  8. Well, there's still Riri. And alll of them bubbles...which by that point rugby sessions will have started again so I have NO complaints.
  9. 1-27 I find it weird that since this week's promo had to do with Willow, there really was so little of her storyline this past week except for Thursday and Friday with the donor twist. However, let me give some credit where credit is due. I was wondering where Ms. Wu was and what was going on with the story with Gladys. And I remember last week when Cody and Sasha were bonding that he mentioned Gladys, but it sounded like he knew her from the past...not because she had finally took Ms. Wu up on her offer to play some games. I should have connected that then since the gambling storyline had vanished for the last few weeks. I thought it was clever how it tied back in. And I wonder what Ms. Wu's motivation is...is her eye on more stock or money laundering through Deception by using Sasha's guardianship? Hmmm. Also clever was the unexpected climax of the Where's Lucy storyline? It's been C plot for a month or so now. And I was thinking these little scenes with Anna, Valentin, and the Blonde was to keep us in the loop until they run out of filming. But it was really about waiting for that moment when Anna punched that trick. I knew it was coming from the moment that Blonde flirted with Val and turned out to be double crossing them. lol. While there was hint of budget restrictions (cuz we were not about to see a whole water cave in), it did not take me out of the scene completely. If anything this whole thing made me think 'if this was DAYS, they would have been in the same room' lol. And now LAURA is in on this??? AND ALEXIS??? OOooo...looks like Victor is finally heading for that fall. I see what you all were talking about with Carly. I cannot believe Michael and everyone else just forgave her in a matter of days. Yet Nina is in the wrong? And she looks like she's about to give good bitca anyway...something CW knows how to do. And you know what? I'm here for it. Carly vs Nina has been too dormant and it's time for a female rivalry to spark off. I'm sorry. I giggled at Trina being out of the loop with her BFF. Joss is that selfish huh? This whole week definitely had the feel of the start of February Sweeps to it. All these storylines out there and this week touched on most of them and felt nicely paced. So much so it was only slightly jarring to me when Thursday came around and focused on Willow. I am hoping that since it felt like the writers found rhythm and momentum that they are going to do what I'm hoping for and have all these stories converge and/or climax. And I see we are focusing on the wedding next week so nice place to start.
  10. Yeah...OLTL's Buchanans came to mind for me as well. Recently...besides the Rosales on Y&R, I would say the Benedicts as well and they came in with potential. Exactly! This. It's funny that so many writers will introduce families, but not take the time to do it in a way where the audiences like them as much as the writers apparently seem to. You know I love you, but does it count if characters from said family are still around vs just...gone? And I felt like the Dennisons were introduced gradually enough that they were successful versus a family introduced one year and then the next...gone. I felt like their dad was around for a while. Tricia was kinda major, but I remember they did Megan the old school way of gradually showing her before she got major story and eventually the audience cared about her. And goodness knows Tricia's madness was over YEARS. I vaguely remember some hate at first, but did it stay around the first introductions?
  11. NY Oh, no!!! I know there are a lot of old school NY fans here so I hope this isn't true... NJ Well looks like no catch up for me...it has already been moved off my system. OC it is! lol.
  12. Well, damn. I loved her in everything she was in (and loved to hate in TIMELESS) so that's sad to hear. And she definitely was good on GH of course. Had potential.
  13. Well, damn. I loved her in everything she was in (and loved to hate in TIMELESS) so that's sad to hear.
  14. POTOMAC OOPS.

It ain't that. Trust. Though I don't see how you are doing something to not draw attention to yourself and at the same time doing something by...drawing attention to yourself. *shrugs*
  16. I hope he's in a better storyline when she does.

WELL...:D I love it when guys and MEN wear jeans the way they are supposed to be worn and not Beiber pants style.
  18. Le sigh all the same.
  19. Well imagine how funny she will look when she finds out Dex really works for Michael. You know that's the only reason why her and Michael are suddenly sharing more scenes together.
  20. I admit...I laughed at the second Jill scene for sure. I was thinking Wartman though. I had totally forgotten how long Jill was on/off with Colin. HAHAHA!!! IKR!!! Gloria would be NO MATCH for Mary. NONE. Ooooo...I would love for that to happen. Sadly, I agree. But just imagining them all at a fashion gala. Le sigh... She really was.
  21. That's sad. I've always liked her writing.
