NC would've inherited a soap in really good shape. The transition would've been seamless. I do wonder how NC would've handled the mob stuff? GH would've been so lucky to have had her. Instead we got dark Mob Hospital. Followed by Frank and his pets.

It's interesting to see one role well cast. While the other isn't. I'm really liking NuSpencer. Just love his chemistry with Trina. Spencer was the high point of today's episode. Sandwiched inbetween Sonny's tedious and repetitious scenes at Tan-O. And the reveal with Austin. Which everyone had already guessed.

That's a great question. I can't think of anyone at the moment. But definitely an actor between 35-30.

RH has a permanently etched smirk on his face. Those scenes with Carly and Austin were cringey. GH doesn't give a toss about Lucas. The NuLucas has only appeared a handful of times.

So true. Over the yrs i tried binge watching Emmerdale. The only period i like was late 90's. Kim Tate kept me entertained. But that was it. The inbreed Dingleberries hillbillies are awful. The 80's episodes made me sleepy. I found the plane crash depressing and boring.

BTW the British soaps have great detailed bio's. Unlike our soaps. So if you are lost just Google a story or character. It was a great resource for me.

In spite of the high turnover. AW did manage to have some solid stable era's.

JFP and Guza would've butchered Sly and killed him. It's for the best he just disappeared. It would've been nice to have seen Sly as a young man. But not with JFP, Guza and Pratt around.

Maybe you might like the 80's. It did take me awhile to get into the 70's. Can never get into the 60's. With Emmerdale you have pre plane crash. Which some people consider dull. and post plane crash which slowly becomes more over the top.

Not every soap will be. For example i can't get into Emmerdale. No matter how hard i try. What era did you watch?
