  1. The fact that there is a suspected 5th column in the National Guard is terrifying. Neutralizing all of these delusional people is going to be one hell of a job. I love watching this people get arrested. Throw the book at them hard.
  2. 🤣 I really hope not, but I feel like nothing can shock me at this point.
  3. The eviction moratorium going until September and the increase in SNAP are really great. Those huge car lines for food banks are heartbreaking. So many people are going to be saved from homelessness and hunger because of this. Not to mention the mental trauma that people, (especially children) would have experienced.
  4. This guy is a real hero. We need 10,000 more like him.
  5. And yet this isn't surprising at all because they have always been trash. Money can't buy class.
  6. So true.
  7. I was saddened to see that the maximum penalty for insurrection is 10 years. Hopeful most of these people will be charged with felony murder and every other thing they can be slapped with. I guess I must be 1% Republican because I was rooting for life in prison if not the death penalty.
  8. So true.
  9. This is the kind of thing that makes me wonder if everyone who is or ever was in government is just a bought out whore. Barbara Boxer using the old "I can change things from the inside" lie, while worker for a Chinese company that surveils the Uighur. https://www.axios.com/barbara-boxer-biden-inaugural-foreign-agent-6022f95b-e6bd-44cc-b43c-2b7d50ffaca1.html The state-owned China Electronics Technology Group is Hikvision's controlling stakeholder. Hikvision cameras have been installed at internment camps in Xinjiang, where more than 1 million Uighurs are estimated to have been imprisoned or subjected to forced labor. Biden’s presidential campaign described China’s treatment of Uighur Muslims as “genocide” last year and said he "stands against it in the strongest terms." Not just forced labor, but also forced abortion and sterilization. Really, she couldn't find any other way to make money? Or maybe just consider that its ok not to be rich, no matter what society tells us. Money is not worth getting involved with genocide on any level. Same. They supposedly want unity, but they won't comply by the rules a few days after a major attack. I can almost hear them screaming, but muh guns! You can't take away muh guns! What about muh freedom?!
  10. https://twitter.com/DrDenaGrayson/status/1349212634923618305?s=20
  11. And Pence asked if he could disrupt the election! Because he was told he couldn't and listened, he's the man of the hour? Screw that. He would have subverted democracy if Yoo or his ike said it was possible.
  12. I think trying to defend against the coup was probably horribly traumatic for some of these officers. Some of these people are loyal to the country and likely felt they failed in stopping the break in of our capitol building. Imagine trying to beat back these nuts while some of your fellow officers are taking selfies with the enemy. Plus they are under a lot of criticism for not being more effective. It seems like a really different job than being a beat cop, not that I really know that. It's just my impression. If these SOB's go through with their plans to attack again they need to be met with riot gear and bullets AFAIAC.
  13. Thank you! I've been saying that all along. I don't even look down on her for marrying for money. So what? If she just hadn't worn that damn jacket and stayed away from the birther stuff I wouldn't even revile her the way I do. I was thinking this too. Very weird. All I can figure is that a lot of people are afraid of the power big tech has amassed.
  14. I imagine leadership has lots of carrots and sticks they can use on him.
  15. This was the guy in charge? Unreal. I am so angry about how this insurrection was handled. The traitors in the capitol police need to be routed out and arrested along with the other criminals involved. If there is another attempt at breaching the capitol, these animals need to be put down. Anyone calling for unity right now can kiss my Irish ass.
  16. She is delusional and has been for a long time.
  17. ^I've read several profiles of people who seemed normal and then went down the QAnon rabbit hole. I've finally accepted that I will never understand it. Maybe experts can understand it and try to help other people from ending up the same way. As for those who have fallen for it and committed awful crimes because of it, they reap what they've sown. On a different note, If someone had told me 5 years ago that this is what would become of Ted Cruz I never would have believed it. Sure, he was never a good guy, but to become a traitor for Trump after their history is just bizarre.
  18. I couldn't stop laughing earlier imagining some alien world receiving our radio transmissions and finding out that our civilization ended with a bunch of Q Anon nuts and their leader nuking us all to hell. OMG. Just the idea that Hannity has a Lifetime Pasta Pass 🤣 I can't.
  19. I suppose he technically died of the heart attack he had after tazing his own balls. I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't laugh, but things are so far of the chain.
  20. As if things couldn't get any more surreal.
  21. How awful. She must have been terrified.
  22. Felony murder, good point. Let's cross our fingers for that charge.
  23. I want to see them in prison for life. I know that isn't likely, but that should be the punishment for sedition, imo. As for that man who helped the lady out of the crowd of Megas, I wish decent people could recognize each other some how. As it stands you just never know if you are dealing with a friendly or someone who is off their rocker/evil. What a world.
  24. It's good to see these traitors being rounded up and arrested. I want to see everyone of them in prison.
