Haddad was before Gagnier. Gagnier was DOOL while Haddad was toward the end of her stint at Cassie.

One Life to Live Tribute Thread
Just listened to it. Very fascinating interview. Especially loved her insights on OLTL in the early 1990s. However, she talks about producing GL in the 1970s (around the time it went to an hour), not writing for the show. She says she was moved to ATWT where executive producer Fred Bartholomew told her she would not be returning to GL. And she then states that she didn't go back to GL. She very briefly talks about producing and then writing ATWT for about a year. After that, she talks at length about her time on OLTL.

When was Horgan at Guiding Light? I don't recall her working at the show during that period.

Perhaps in comparison to Evans, but she's actually older than Kelli Maroney and just a year younger than Krista Tesreau. I would love to see Marsha Clark as Tina. I just cannot see her in that role.

ALL: They Almost Became
That's just bizarre. I can't picture Gerringer as Bradley at all. There was such an age difference between Gerringer (born in 1926) and James Rebhorn (born in 1948).

Series Update
Been wondering where you've been. Enjoy your break! It's well-deserved.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
Ellen Parker (Maureen Bauer, Guiding Light) is on this week's episode of "The Leftovers" on HBO. A little grayer, but still looks the same. And Billy Magnuson (Casey, As the World Turns) was just on, too.

The character's name was Billie Giordano, not Burrows.

Tony Craig's company: tccardco.com He sells vintage sports cards. As for Terry Davis, I think she was a in a web series a few years ago.

Another World Discussion Thread
It was such a travesty that they killed off Quinn. She was a great character and had so much potential. Yet she was sacrificed for the Sin Stalker story. I suspect that had Gail Brown's Clarice not been writer out the previous year that Clarice would have been murdered, too. Margaret DePriest was head writer at the time. John Whitesell was Executive Producer.

The Doctors Discussion Thread
I thought Zimmer left and then returned a few months later to wrap up Nola's story. Zimmer's daughter was born in June 1982 (according to stuff I've seen online) and Nola departed around September. Didn't Nola literally sail off into the sunset with Tor?

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
Yes, five years. She became executive producer in 2004. Does anyone know anything about Wheeler's supposed plan to reboot the show back in 2007-2008? In Kim Zimmer's memoir, Zimmer claims that in tandem with the new production model that Wheeler wanted to rename the show The New Guiding Light. Zimmer's vague on the details, but I got the impression that the show was supposed to start from scratch.

Edge of Night (EON) (No spoilers please)
The stories she's sharing are awesome too. She posted a great pic from 1979 when Logan, Raven, Nicole, and Miles headed to some country retreat. Joe Lambie (Logan) rearranged the letters on the hotel sign so that the hotel's name was quite bawdy.

Karynn does the UNTHINKABLE!! #154
Awesome episode! I did not expect that ending at all. Brilliantly done! I love how you're now weaving Vandalynn in with Daniel. Nicely done! And Sister Patterson! Wow. I so did not expect that. All I could picture was New York showing up and doing battle with Dru and Sheila. Hmmm. Maybe she's the mystery patient that Sheila has in that cabin.

HOW TO SURVIVE A MARRIAGE
She was on Guiding Light in the early 1990s as Jean Weatherhill, who was murdered by Holly's lover Daniel St. John. Her IMDB profile shows more recent credits, including The Good Wife.

Ryan's Hope Discussion Thread
Actually, Pat did return before Groome reprised the role in 1983. James Patrick Clarke assumed the role in 1982 and played Pat until 1983 when Groome returned. Clarke headed over to Search for Tomorrow where he played Jack Benton who raped Sunny Adamson.

ALL: They Almost Became
I have to agree that Rhoades was quite awkward. It surprised me that she was cast after her less than compelling turn on Generations. Now, Lara Parker. That would have been really cool!

ALL: They Almost Became
Interesting idea. Irene was so campy so it could have been a great fit for Zenk as Barbara was quite camptastic at times.

ALL: Temporary Replacements
Actually, I think she said it was around 1989. She said she was also pregnant at the same time with her daughter who is now around 24. The reference to 1993 was when she auditioned for and was offered the role of Margo Hughes.

And she was also tapped to play the role of Barbara Ryan when Colleen Zenk was pregnant with her third child.

Return To Peyton Place Discussion Thread
My mom used to watch RTPP and, of course, I got hooked. I remember Allison and the cabin fire. And Pamela Susan Shoop being introduced in Eli's store. And the affair between Mike and Connie. They kept repeating again and again the scene where Connie and Mike give in to their desires. I think it was shot from outside a house window, looking in on the couple as Connie's slip fell to the floor.
