  1. She was Rose Turner on Y&R http://theyoungandtherestless.wikia.com/wiki/Rose_Turner I didn't care for Justine. I felt like she ate the show during that period, only to be written out in 1985. By the by, Page Hannah is Daryl's sister.
  2. Redhead with Chase: Adair McCleary, played by Page Hannah and later played by Susan Carey Lamm. Adair was in a love triangle with Chase and Alec Kendall. Redhead on couch: Justine Calvert, played by Leslie Stevens who was on Y&R last year. Justine was a foil for Cagney and Suzie and was almost murdered around New Year's Eve 1984/1985.
  3. Brilliant! I loved the following line: "With that deep voice Jill has whose to say she is a woman." And the church bus? That was awesome!
  4. I had the same reaction. I don't think Marcello was that popular. The character was only around for about 18 months. By the by, it appears that Eddie Drueding's AW page is gone. I tried accessing it but no luck.
  5. I believe that's Pam Wagner, John's niece. She was played by Robin Morse, daughter of actor Robert Morse. And long-haired dude is Beau Farrell and was played by Neil Maffin.
  6. I believe she refurbished Company while Laibson was still executive producer. They debuted the new set, which was then quickly redesigned when Rauch came on board as executive producer at the end of 1996. Just dawned on me that Laibson redesigned Company and redid the theme sing in 1996 and both changes were very unpopular with the audience.
  7. Bridget arrived in 1991 and was introduced by Nancy Curlee, Stephen Demorest, and James Reilly. Broderick didn't arrive until late 1991 or early 1992 when Curlee left on maternity leave.
  8. Rauch back-burnered Bridget after he became executive producer. She had little to do in 1997 and was then phased out in June of that year, a few months before Cassie appeared.
  9. There was no arc. She (and Lisa Brown as Nola) returned for Vanessa and Billy's wedding. They appeared at Company and then at the wedding.
  10. As others pointed out, that was indeed Meg Myles as Mavis Stone. Meg also played Sid Brennan on The Edge of Night in the early 1980s. I think the McCleary brothers became prominent in the titles because they became the focus of the show. Granted, there was less McCleary here, but there was another episode -- post-flood -- that was only the three brothers as they went back to their childhood home to see what they could salvage. And the only McCleary missing in this episode was Hogan. Adair and Kate were already gone and the recast Kate and Malcolm/Matt did't arrive until around September.
  11. I've never seen Tripp credited as playing Jeff but there is an AMC episode on YouTube that features the actor.
  12. I personally thought he was great. An excellent actor and very charismatic.
  13. Haddad was before Gagnier. Gagnier was DOOL while Haddad was toward the end of her stint at Cassie.
  14. Just listened to it. Very fascinating interview. Especially loved her insights on OLTL in the early 1990s. However, she talks about producing GL in the 1970s (around the time it went to an hour), not writing for the show. She says she was moved to ATWT where executive producer Fred Bartholomew told her she would not be returning to GL. And she then states that she didn't go back to GL. She very briefly talks about producing and then writing ATWT for about a year. After that, she talks at length about her time on OLTL.
  15. When was Horgan at Guiding Light? I don't recall her working at the show during that period.
  16. Perhaps in comparison to Evans, but she's actually older than Kelli Maroney and just a year younger than Krista Tesreau. I would love to see Marsha Clark as Tina. I just cannot see her in that role.
  17. That's just bizarre. I can't picture Gerringer as Bradley at all. There was such an age difference between Gerringer (born in 1926) and James Rebhorn (born in 1948).
  18. Been wondering where you've been. Enjoy your break! It's well-deserved.
  19. Ellen Parker (Maureen Bauer, Guiding Light) is on this week's episode of "The Leftovers" on HBO. A little grayer, but still looks the same. And Billy Magnuson (Casey, As the World Turns) was just on, too.
  20. Ellen Parker (Maureen) is on this week's episode of "The Leftovers" on HBO. A little grayer, but still looks the same. And now Billy Magnuson from World Turns is on.
  21. The character's name was Billie Giordano, not Burrows.
  22. Tony Craig's company: tccardco.com He sells vintage sports cards. As for Terry Davis, I think she was a in a web series a few years ago.
  23. It was such a travesty that they killed off Quinn. She was a great character and had so much potential. Yet she was sacrificed for the Sin Stalker story. I suspect that had Gail Brown's Clarice not been writer out the previous year that Clarice would have been murdered, too. Margaret DePriest was head writer at the time. John Whitesell was Executive Producer.
  24. I thought Zimmer left and then returned a few months later to wrap up Nola's story. Zimmer's daughter was born in June 1982 (according to stuff I've seen online) and Nola departed around September. Didn't Nola literally sail off into the sunset with Tor?
  25. Here's the We Love Soaps story that discusses Wheeler's project. She is so vague about what they were trying to do there. They definitely filmed something though it doesn't seem to have materialized at all. http://www.welovesoaps.net/2013/12/ellen-wheeler-interview-2.html
