In the meantime, the likes of China and Russia are running the show. The U.S. might as well hang a shingle that reads "United States of America For Sale to the Highest Bidder" at Immigration and Customs at every international airport.
Between this and the U.S. already acceding to Chinese, er North Korean demands that the U.S. and South Korea stop their military cooperative exercises, Trump and his cabal are more than prepared to put U.S. concerns at the bottom of the list, just so that he can claim that he secured some sort of a "deal" no matter how adverse the consequences for the U.S.
His "trade war" bluster was always nonsense but his exit from his idiotic rhetoric has been about as graceful as a cow on ice. All it proves is that, without a doubt, China owns Trump (and likely Russia and perhaps certain emirs and sheikhs too).
