Where did I say that you weren't allowed to say anything? Personally I just find "disgusted" a very strong word, and not something I would use for such a trivial matter as a song contest. You obviously do, and that's your prerogative, just as it is mine to disagree.

I realize that Eurovision can be an acquired taste, but "disgusted" sounds a little harsh?

Ana Alicia was far more dynamic and charismatic than McGeehan or Vernon though. Some of it due to the writing of course, but not all of it.

It's obvious that Israel's presence is a major divisive issue, and this is something that the EBU needs to deal with. According to the now published results Israel got 13 out of a possible 19 max points in the semi-final, and while their song isn't bad there's no way they would get those numbers without some kind of manipulation/political voting. They are clearly using this contest as a way of improving their somewhat tarnished reputation. I know that some people are comparing this to the massive sympathy votes that Ukraine gets and which propelled them to victory in 2022, but I feel that that was a more genuine show of support than this concerted effort from Israel to influence the televoting. I even had an ad on Youtube from Israel in Swedish(!) asking for votes! It might not be against any rules, but it feels a bit icky nonetheless.

Phew, that was close to disaster! 🫣 I suspect we would have had a few withdrawals next year if Israel had won. I don't think many people would relish going to Jerusalem as things stand now. Not to mention it would have been a prime target for terrorist attacks.

I think this has been one of the best years in a long time. In no small part due to the fact that so many countries have chosen to sing in their native language. Songs like the ones from Greece and Latvia have benefitted immensely from this, and made those two personal favourites of mine. I think Greece has the most incredibly beautiful staging and Klavdia's voice is outstanding. I don't think she has any real chance of winning, but if she did I would be ecstatic. Luxembourg is another favourite of mine and Laura (with her dancers) really sold that song with the new staging. Her performance in the final was flawless and I will be very disappointed if she doesn't improve on last year's result for Luxembourg (13th).

I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
