  1. I'm loving the Rodwells, the Varga-Murphys and Nell and Hugo. It's great to see the show back with established families, they moved away from the big family dynamics in the last couple of years and it became fragmented, this is definitely Neighbours back at its best. I hope it lasts.
  2. Agree. They're doing so well with it.
  3. I agree about the lack of heart. I think it's just reached a natural conclusion now. I don't want it to end, but I think it needs radical changes like getting rid of some of the stalwarts (I'm thinking Phil, Kat, Stacey) but they'll never do that so it's holding the show back. I still really hate this version of Ben too, and there's generally not enough nice characters in it. I think I'll start enjoying it more when Sam Mitchell is back. She's currently a big character in the 2004 repeat on Drama, and I'm enjoying that a lot more.
  4. I don't know why, but I'm really struggling with EE at the moment.
  5. That's good news, I wonder if the ratings will be better in Australia this week. It's the Number 1 show on Amazon Freevee UK at the moment.
  6. Enjoying the revival so far
  7. No worries. He's my fave!
  8. Ian Smith interview.
  9. One of Australia's finest.
  10. I think this just shows that resume doesn't mean you're going to work in every role, he's really paled in his role as George IMO.
  11. If that's the case, I wish he'd show some acting talent 😂
  12. They apparently couldn't be bothered to hire decent actors to play the Knights, Gina's the only one who works. And the decast Peter is a bit hit and miss. At the moment, the highlights are Kathy and Nu-Old Peter having decent family chemistry, and Cindy and Gina's family chemistry. I hope they're all axed eventually except Cindy and Gina. Clay Milner-Russell as Bobby has blown everyone else out of the water.
  13. Nicolette will be there, but just recast.
  14. The more fans we have, the better! Have you watched Neighbours before, @Manny?
  15. Could you potentially use a VPN? I watched Neighbours when I lived in Germany for a year.
  16. Where are you hoping to watch it from?
  17. Classic EE on Drama has just aired Den's return from the dead. The lead up was good with Dennis and Sharon's relationship.
  18. Great interview with Lynne McGranger.
  19. Are you onto 2019 now?
  20. They were probably just trying get the aesthetics right. During the Bower era (2008-2012) the show went through a real struggle visually and the sets and lighting were really poor. So from 2013-2018 they were constantly trying to make the show look more contemporary and bring it into the 21st century. It worked overall.
  21. Toadie and Terese getting married though
  22. Rhys has some really interesting, well-written storylines in 2012.
  23. I am hoping she married Shane and he died in the interim, so she can return as Izzy Ramsay. Would be epic.
  24. Izzy is such a brilliant character.
