The 35th anniversary week was one of Neighbours best weeks in years. Colette Mann and Chris Milligan who play Kyle and Sheila put in brilliant performances for their grieving of Gary. Also lovely to see Sky Mangel and Des Clarke back.

Stupid Love is an awful song. I hope she has something better on her new album. I like the title though; Chromatica. Stupid Love sounds like a mix between her old song Do What U Want and a cheaply produced 80s song.

How long are you a carrier if you had the virus but never realised? 2 weeks? Is that why they say to isolate for 14 days?

Neighbours celebrates its 35th anniversary this week. It is airing 10 episodes for the week, 5 normal ones and 5 late night ones at 10pm. i'm excited!!!

It turns out I was right Killing off Dennis is so stupid and it's definitely another one to add to the likes of Abi, Steven, Lucy etc. He was literally reaching the age where he could have decent story potential in about 2 or 3 years. A link to Den and Dennis, I mean really, what a stupid move. They never learn, do they?

The show's been really bad since new year. I haven't seen the anniversary episodes yet but far too much Linda, the story has felt far too prominent and the Leo story is trash and has just been dragged out.

Knowing EastEnders it will probably be the character with the most potential. They like killing off good characters.

Phil is nothing like he is in the 1992 episodes currently airing in the UK.

Hi @Aback, I'm glad you're impressed by what you see. From what I understand the show has been under financial constraints, however after its deal with Channel 5 in the UK in 2017, the Australian government started paying money towards the production of Neighbours (via Film Victoria) given it creates many jobs for writers, directors, actors etc so they see it as important for the country. This money from Film Victoria coincided with the show upgrading its cameras and post-production software, which might have something to do with what you're seeing on Twitter. If you do start watching the show, make sure to post here about what you think I'd love to see these one day too!

I think it was predictable but I enjoyed seeing it play out nevertheless. I'm just glad I'm enjoying the show again. For a long time it was becoming a 'talking heads' show. But yeah everyone enjoys different things and it's still far from perfect. The Christmas day episode was rubbish. What does that mean? Thanks in advance.

Why? I thought it was great.

That's why I liked it. Because it focused on one character. These days everything is spread around too much, not much exploration of the characters but this episode was above average in that regard.

What didn't you like about it? I've seen alcoholics praising it.
