  1. GL at its best was never really just about romances. I never cared about his relationships with women (I did like him with Bev's Alex; Jay and Maureen Garrett had a certain spark but the relationship relied too much on suppressing Holly's personality), but he was a great community character, and I liked his friendships with Ed, Ross, etc. He was the only reason I sometimes tolerated Nick (Nick was a godawful character until his last six months or so on the show). I also thought his relationship with Ben was very touching, a bond built not on blood but on loss and found family. I never forgave the show for what they did with Ben. For all her flaws I'm glad Ellen Wheeler at least acknowledged this, opaquely, in the finale.
  2. I always liked Joe Barbara, if not really most of the stories he had. Amy is about the same. It's great that she is involved as she has had primetime success so could have thumbed her nose. So happy to hear about Linda and Stephen. I'm glad Linda is up to doing this. @SFK @DaytimeFan
  3. Jada Rowland briefly mentioned her Hamptons work in the Doctors WATN video - mainly that she only agreed to do the show if she would be killed off.
  4. I wonder if they don't do old fashion weeks because of the music rights. I wish they could get around that. I'd love to see the "environmental fashion show" again.
  5. Great work @YRfan23 . You always come through.
  6. Cotton terrifies me. He's so dead behind the eyes and that voice is straight horror film. Sadly many on the left adore him and are trying to push him as an example of why the left and the right must work together against the evil DNC.
  7. Some Marland-era episodes, sadly, dubbed, have been uploaded.
  8. Disgusting, and not even surprising.
  9. Great find! And such beautiful quality too. Interesting how the show really didn't seem to go for glossy looks in casting.

Thanks @dc11786 as always for your detailed rundown. I didn't realize there were some new clips in here. I'll have to check those out. Hopefully someday the full Rituals run will appear.
  11. I know what you mean - I haven't watched all of them either. They've been more pleasant than I had expected. I watched some of the Cady/MEK/Jon video and it made me feel more connected to them (especially MEK, who was so depressed his last years at AMC). I'm glad they're doing this for Loving, "the little show that could." We sure need that spirit these days. Amazing that Bryan Cranston still appears with other Loving actors, even though he could have easily put on airs, like some soap people.
  12. That's crazy. I wish that was around. I can't imagine the fan reaction.
  13. A fabulous scene. Jill Larson at her best.
  14. Love Robin but I'm kind of leaning toward her...
  15. Great find! I never would have heard of this otherwise. Wow.
  16. "We put the DILF in Doctors, this summer on NBC!"
  17. It's very annoying, and typical of the smugness of many on the other side of this argument. Over and over I hear people say that the lockdowns are wrong because there will be no chance to develop immunity. There has been no evidence of immunity in the first place. The other thing that annoys me is that while there are many poor and nearly poor people who have suffered from this lockdown, they don't even get a voice. Instead you have rich people speaking for them, pretending to care. I saw that yet again today NYT, the paper that is always so happy to see people die, put out a propaganda column from Bret Stephens, falsely claiming that the public does not approve of lockdown measures. This is something the media desperately wants to be true, and they will do their damndest to make sure it is. Apparently the governor of Georgia will be reopening theaters next week. I imagine other states will follow suit. For the time being I don't see anyone going to them in large numbers, or the studios putting out new films.
  18. Thanks for checking. 1991 is bare bones on Youtube so it's nice there are still 'new' episodes floating around.
  19. True. Something else, which is really really unlikely to pop up, is seeing some of Jeff Hartman's Egoli episodes. I think he was more of a sympathetic character on there.
  20. Didn't Phyllis do that (deface a photo) or am I mixing something up?
  21. Wow. You have a good ear. I thought I recognized Joe Regalbuto's voice - so I guess this was some primetime "before they were stars" special from around 1994 or 1995 (judging by Sherry Stringfield's inclusion). I still wish more episodes from this time period were available, even if the stories don't really seem that interesting on paper. Is there any one particular episode or "moment" any of you wish you could see from Loving that isn't available at present? For me it would probably be Ava's dream episode (the Heaven dream), or the episode where James Horan's Clay returns to the family fold, or the episode where the Aldens reunite with Cabot in 1994 (even if I'm still annoyed Shana wasn't involved in that story).

Someone put up various Mary Beth Evans appearances from Rituals on Youtube. I think these may have been up before but were taken down. There are a series of uploads.
  23. This channel put up several early '90s episodes I don't think I've seen on Youtube before. I'll just put one to save space (they have another that aired the next day, and some bits from 1993).
