Morally I agree with the decision. Strategically, I think it's going to cost them a lot of the seats they won in 2018. But whatever choice they made was going to have consequences, so we'll just see what happens and expect the worst.

I think they're going to regret this.

Speaking of Ernie, is this him in this ad?

Far right operators are going hammer and tongs against Greta Thunberg, as they always do against young people who want to have a future (remember their attacks against the children who fought for health care?). And sadly, it will work - it always does. Anyway, here is Laura Nazi salute's brother:

I don't get his point. The Oscars were always seen as an international event. Of course they get more focus with declining ratings.

I've been wary of some of the methods about climate change protesting (especially after seeing videos where climate change protesting now = a guy in booty overalls twerking as confetti is thrown over him [nothing says help the environment like confetti]) and this is a reason why.

I think they may have when Travis died. I can't remember.

These forums are meaningless anyway. What seems to hurt Harris is, beyond the obvious bias against her for her race and gender, is her prosecutor background. She gets hammered over that many times - probably more than she anticipated. I'm sure Warren will get the same hatred as soon as she gets closer to toppling Bernie.

I wish they'd at least let her leave town alive rather than having to sacrifice herself to stop her psycho father. It felt unnecessary.

ALL: They Almost Became
That's what I meant. I couldn't support even Tuck in that role after the "she set a man up for rape" twist that was one of the worst mistakes the show ever made.

ALL: They Almost Became
Jessica Tuck as Kit Fisher would have made my head explode, and not in a good way either. I just would not have been able to support that, ever, ever, ever.

Watching this episode (I know the full version is also around...) I wonder how fans at the time felt about the random blonde women suddenly populating Pine Valley - Angelique, Galen, soon a recast Natalie (Kate is still there for now), and one could also argue Gloria (although I always liked Gloria). Angelique should have been a bit more interesting than this, you'd think. I'm glad that they were still using Enid Nelson in these years. Was Hayley supposed to still be in high school at this time or was she in college? The age difference between Hayley and Charlie is so glaring. At least they had Charlie away from modeling by this point...- One Life to Live Tribute Thread
The way the show handled the relationship between Andrew and Megan - that Andrew was in love with Megan, and that this was fine and good, and that Megan understood and also loved Andrew (just not as much as she could ever love Jake) is so incredibly mature and so incredibly tender and moving. There was no fear of ship wars, or of psycho stans threatening cast and crew. No soap of recent years would ever allow for this type of nuance, and it just breaks my heart.- Your daily (or nightly) thought
Charles Grodin on the Tonight Show. There's a funny joke at the end of this first segment - just wait for it.- The Politics Thread
An old Nightline on Iran hostages. I had no idea Netenyahu had been so tied to American media interests for this many years. (there are also commercials from the military cable channel in Okinawa, so that's interesting to watch)- Y&R: Old Articles

The above makes me even worried about when he will take us to war. de Blasio is out: Did he ever really live up to his promise, or was he just able to run a very slick campaign for mayor? - The Joan Collins Fan Club
