  1. This man riled up people who were planning to kill members of Congress, and yet he still gets bipartisan support. No wonder so many have no faith in the system.
  2. Thanks. He still looks pretty good. Silly P&G/CBS execs, as always.
  3. Sorry @Forever8 I did not realize this show had two topics. @Toups can these be merged?
  4. Oral history. Very much worth the read! https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2021/05/a-different-world-cast-members-and-crew-oral-history
  5. The media telling on themselves, in multiple ways:
  6. Maura did try later on (especially in the early years of her second stint), but I don't think anything ever compared to the magic of her first stint. Daniel Markel was hot and had a real spark as David Allen, in a pretty horribly written and shoehorned role. I never understood why he was let go - given that this was the period when CBS Daytime was reportedly run by people who fired actors based on whether they were "hot" enough, I wonder if that's why we got the porn type actor in his place. Markel retired from acting and became a successful stock broker, I think.
  7. That's lovely to hear. I wish someone could interview her about her time at OLTL. I still don't know if Brenda even had an exit.
  8. I know what you mean. I suppose reports like this don't feel as much like gossip or agenda-setting to me because the talks really have dragged on and a lot of the plans feel directionless to me at this point, but I will curtail on posting them here.
  9. Still can't get it. Maybe someone else can. Thanks.
  10. More kicking the can down the road... In other news making this a fun day...
  11. Thank you @Count Henri . Unfortunately the link doesn't seem to work.
  12. I've always found something a little off about him, even before the rumors started going around, but now I just find everything about him terrifying.
  13. Thanks for sharing that. Very sweet.
  14. That last one has some extended footage around as well. (probably the last culturally relevant thing Lohan has done...). The first is notable because some cast members from 10 and 20 years prior returned for the first (and last) time. Here is the one I mentioned earlier:
  15. This was from last week but still annoys me. The media has spent a year now working on a narrative about how being "soft on crime" has and will hurt Democrats, but do not bother to hide that they are interested in making this a reality, to the point where a moment that goes against their agenda (like Krasner's huge primary win and the wins of other reformist candidates in Philly) gets no more than a dismissive nod:
  16. The EU are beholden to Putin. They will wring their hands nobly.
  17. That was it. Good capture work there. I guess someone on the writing staff is a fan.
  18. Thank you for all these videos @victoria foxton .
  19. Any of you Jill Zarin fans may (or may not...) be interested to know SNL name-dropped her for their finale - a very New York-centric bra shop was located on Jill Zarin Blvd. I was also watching John Mulaney's first episode a few days ago and was reminded that a few of the women they have the cast members play were clearly based on actual Housewives. The Kyle Richards pastiche ("I'm too old and my hair is TOO LONG") always gives me a laugh.
  20. EJ was a terrible character who mostly just got fan response because a lot of people wanted to [!@#$%^&*] James Scott. And now we will have the same response. Why not bring in a new character who isn't an emo woe rapist trotting out "witty" one-liners? I guess, given Ron's love of this type of man in his soap "writing," he just has to belch another one out.
