  1. Not sure if any of this is already available or not. It is about 16 minutes and seems to range from February 6-13, and includes some footage of Mac in the wild as well as some of Stacey's last scenes (I guess her last was with Jamie), as well as Cecile and Cass, and Rachel with Jamie and Sandy.
  2. Sorry if this was already posted. Some channel has been uploading various material from 1992, with commercials. These never stay up long:
  3. I actually could have seen someone like Gary Tomlin trying the idea.
  4. I don't know what I was tagged into, but whatever it was, thank you for reminding me why I mostly limit myself to a few threads on this board now.
  5. Most of the soap fans who are left would never go for it. I would not be surprised if the actors involved got death threats, to be honest. Considering some GH actors did get death threats it's not very out of the question.
  6. I was disturbed long before Betty passed about the way so many people would use her name on social media to get clout and try to seem funny, A clout tweet every time her name was trending, morbidly obsessing over her death in a way she never would have wanted, year in, year out. This has been another level entirely of crassness, viral tweets about Will Smith hitting her and her cracking her head...it sickens me. Anyway, this is fun:
  7. Chris Rock has been telling jokes like that for decades and keeps on trucking, so I think that's probably why Will knew there wouldn't be much response. (the odd part is Rock even made a documentary about black women and their hair, although I think that faced some controversy). Sad to say that's most of the discourse I've seen today. Never mind that if Mel Gibson had slapped the [!@#$%^&*] out of Chris Rock those same people would be cheering.
  8. I saw a few people on Twitter saying that Bradley was also from Philly, or his mother was. I doubt that was a factor but it interested me. The "West Philly" tweets (and the tweets saying this was just like the season finale of Euphoria, which...oddly, it was) were funnier than any of the comedy I saw/heard about last night. That and the celebrities and politicians who were deleting their tweets ASAP. I wonder if Gaga was chosen for this role because of her support of Tony Bennett. For all the stunts and attention-seeking, she does seem like a kind person at heart. I had forgotten that Will supposedly has ties to $cientology until a few pointed it out. Considering some of the volatile behavior from Tom Cruise over the years, I wonder if this has any involvement. (speaking of that, while I know how meaningless the whole "say gay" thing is, the clip of Travolta not even being able to let himself applaud said platitude made me feel a bit sad) Chris Rock has been making jokes about Jada for years, some of them very harsh, but I don't think Will would have gotten physical if not for all the "entanglement" material elsewhere (including from one of the show's hosts). It's been about 10+ years now since the weird stories about their kids started to put more of a negative spotlight on their marriage, and that has just gotten worse and worse due to the exploitation of August Alina and the car crash that is Red Table Talk. Will has slowly gone from a popular and relatively respected actor to a crying meme, a cuckold. At some point, that has to blow.
  9. I have no real interest in seeing Eyes of Tammy Faye - frankly, it does not look good - but I'm happy for Jessica Chastain, who seems to be one of the more sincere people in Hollywood. I'm also happy she helped get Tammy Faye's story out there to another generation. And, yes, I'm happy that finally someone from Dark Shadows has won an Oscar.
  10. I can see why - I saw that Jada was trending because of her dress upstaging Will, and many many "entanglement" jokes, including from one of the Oscar hosts. People did memes about how broken Will looked when he was on Jada's talk show, but everyone has their limits. I would guess he probably couldn't stand Chris anyway. But if it is true, then wow, what a place to go off. And right before he probably wins an Oscar.
  11. Surely that was fake??? Chris went in SO hard on Jada when he hosted the Oscars in 2015 or 2016, that's the only reason I wonder if it wasn't staged. And isn't Will winning Best Actor tonight? How weird that will now be.
  12. I wonder where Susan Diol is now. As someone who is fascinated by temp recasting, the number of temps the last two years on GH has been astounding, and something worth studying (the differences in performance, and so on).
  13. You are probably right, but I do think it is feeing into the Ukraine numbers, and is feeding into the grotesque narrative the media are using about his "inarticulate" (their words) comments yesterday. It's a way of training the public to think Biden is incapable on all fronts, compared to their big daddy heroes like Trump.
  14. The media's glee makes me sick. Trump, abhorrent as he is, was right about them and how they are in many ways such a threat to our country, even if he handled it in a grotesque, violent manner.
  15. Unfortunately I do think the media obsession has an impact with the public, as Biden's numbers fell after Afghanistan and have not significantly recovered. While I don't think this is on that level by any means (especially as there are no dead US soldiers involved), it's another club for the media to wield and a way for them to move on from talking about Clarence Thomas, which they were desperate to do. It also means they don't have to give Biden any credit for foreign policy and give another edge to Republicans.
  16. The sad truth is even with a strong economy, the media would make sure Democrats lost. Only Republicans are allowed to have strong economies.
  17. The main difference is the media loved Reagan. They do not like Biden. They circled in on that, and the walkback, immediately. I hope Biden's polling will improve, but I'm not really sure that is possible in this country.
  18. MTG saying what her party feels with all its heart, and as always no one else in the party will say a word in rebuttal. At least she's honest, I guess. Republicans hate you and they hate me and they want us to die. It's just that simple. Brain dead hags like this circus freak are a gift because they make it clear and mean we have more time to try to find some way out, unlikely as that may be. I wonder how long it will be before she's a guest on Chapo Trap House or another socialist podcast. They love this [!@#$%^&*].
  19. Was that the Nazi season? I remember reading that got a very negative response and the network stepped in.
