  1. If that version of Vanessa had stayed, I think she probably wouldn't have lasted very long - I could see her being killed off similar to Diane.
  2. This has a few Julianne Morris (Amy Wilson) hosting segments. I had never heard of this channel or knew that she did any hosting segments.
  3. I wonder if a number of those in charge weren't thrilled with NAC, especially his wanting to leave instead of linger on, and his supposedly being very supportive of the Sprina pairing when the show wanted to put Spencer elsewhere.
  4. Thanks! I thought one of them was Susan but I just couldn't be sure. The others I had no idea. Perry would make sense as he was so athletic.
  5. RIP Angela Bofill.
  6. Absolutely. I'm so glad someone did as full a profile as we're likely to get while some involved are still alive. He led a fascinating life.
  7. Part of a "battle of the network stars" special with B&B vs Loving. I am not completely sure who everyone is, but I see Schae Harrison, Todd McKee, Joanna Johnson and Colleen Dion. On the Loving side, you also have future B&B star Rena Sofer. Joanna also participates in a comedy sketch with the male host.
  8. Part of a "battle of the network stars" type program featuring stars from Loving and B&B. The quality is poor so I can't make out all the Loving people - the main one I recognize is Rena Sofer.
  9. The Rialto Report (warning - NSFW site) profile on Dennis talked about this. Henri Belolo (EP on Dennis' "Like an Eagle" song) claimed that Jacques really wanted him to be in the movie, but Allan Carr refused. Henri believed that due to Allan's desires for young men, he was jealous of all the attention Dennis got. Jacques and Allan had a huge fight which Henri had to mediate. Ultimately Dennis wasn't in the film, although he was included in the promotion and premiere parties. One of Dennis' friends said Dennis told him Jacques had decided not to include him as a member of The Village People because he wanted to launch him as a solo star. Dennis himself was more ambivalent about the whole thing.

  11. I did see some. Lovely to watch them watching the old clips.
  12. Kim worked well with everybody. She was a real find. What a surprise that ever-misogynistic JFP did not appreciate that.
  13. I do think Mallet worked better in that format than the tedious pairing with Harley. I wish they had paired him with Mindy instead. The moment with the two of them together after Francesca left was one I still remember.
  14. @slick jones Yes. He was a lawyer. Thank you for sharing that Another Life interview. I'm glad someone conducted interviews with a number of cast members while they were still with us.
  15. If only they had been so thoughtful with many other stories in that timeframe.
  16. @slick jones I know it's not exactly proof, but someone claiming to be Bernard Grant's child said on Youtube that it is Philip Sterling in that 1960 GL episode uploaded a few months ago.

  18. That's pretty much the only Mallet story I ever cared about, although I haven't watched it in a very, very long time.
  19. There's just so much entitlement surrounding Joss, because of who her mother is, and what that is meant to mean for how we see her. Very unearned. Has Joss ever had a story, or a pairing, or any relationship, that most viewers responded to? I know many of her fans hate Trina and want Trina off the show, but nothing is going to change when Trina leaves (which presumably won't be long), because she is so vacuous. Even Bill Bell, nepo king, was not threatened by how much more talented Tricia Cast was than LLB, and instead kept them in close story that benefited both actresses and characters.
  20. 'She was wonderful.' WXYZ legends reflect on impact of anchorwoman Doris Biscoe https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/12/obituaries/howard-fineman-dead.html I remember Fineman getting a great deal of mockery for his coverage during the W years, but still, I'm sorry to hear he has passed.
