  1. A restrained James Kiberd is in this ad at about 2:25. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2H6zhERpgA
  2. I think Joan looked best in the first 3-5 years of the show.

  4. That as part of Sally's vulnerability, IMO. She was ashamed of herself and wanted to be what the Forresters were. I think it's one of the reasons Stephanie eventually befriended her. There was a real mix of laughter and tears with the Spectras which none of the other characters on the show have had. It was nice to see Colleen Dion's Felicia in a central role again. They built such a dynamic, strong character in Felicia and then just threw it away. She went to work there to rebel against her family.
  5. What a baffling and at times annoying role Courtney was...but I liked her anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLoOvpPWqUA

  11. This must be Mary Kane as Frannie. She reminds me of Penelope Ann Miller. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOEFclZCrmI
  12. January 1992 episode! It's very difficult to find ATWT material from this time on Youtube. Isn't this another actress playing Frannie? I guess she was a temp. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOEFclZCrmI
  13. I didn't know that. It does sound like just a quick write-in though. I can't see them having a random friend of Blade's pop up. I didn't mean to overlook your comments about Ashley/Victor. I often felt like ED Ashley's standing up to Victor was just smoke and mirrors - ultimately she fell into line. I guess with Brenda there wasn't as much pretense. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iII_uh2x3jw&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
  14. That is the woman who played in Daddy's Dyin! I'd know that voice anywhere. I'd forgotten just how good the woman who played Molly was. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRhz4ZvGJjU&feature=autoplay&list=ULe9B4capbVyQ&lf=mfu_in_order&playnext=1 I think Tylo was under contract at this time so it must have just been some quick writein. It's too bad, as I think this guy has a natural charisma. He kind of sounds like William Gray Espy.
  15. Do you know who is playing the photographer? I kind of wish they'd kept him and ditched Blade... He looks a little like Rod Arrants but I know they weren't going to bring him back since he had been in a story with Ashley a few years earlier. This doesn't involve the episode, but I was going to ask - who played Nathan when Randy Brooks left in mid-1994? Did the skunk guy take over immediately or did we not see him until that affair with Keesha?
  16. MTS plays the pain of these scenes incredibly well. Almost too well. I wonder if it's because of her own back problems. The scene where she tries to take out her IV is very disturbing. I'm surprised no one was with her. Did one of the women who plays Molly's friend play the grandmother in Daddy's Dyin But Who's Got the Will?
  17. This episode isn't too far from some of the wonderful episodes of later January 1992 passnum has been uploading. For any Sheila fans, she's in this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNv39oOyBOE
  18. I'd never seen that photo of Louise Shaffer before. I'm glad she felt Kimberly ruined her character. It's funny that Muenz's comments imply the movie stuff started long after he began on the show. One of the first scenes was the Jaws ripoff. I don't know how many people have used that or King Kong as a reason for the show's decline but I will always blame Kimberly and the mob, along with misuse of core characters like Roger, Delia, and Faith. Thanks for sharing all this.
  19. I wish the scene of Mitch "bathing Rachel in disco lights" was available. These are the AOL episodes, I think. I wonder if the lettuce green Speedo episode is in here. It's interesting to see Cecile at this time, as she's not a comic character at all, just a scheming bitch who isn't quite as clever as she wants to be, and is mostly going against people who are too nice or messed up for their own good. Meanwhile Blaine is stuck in the mode of bad girl who has to lose everything by being forced with the bad man, and giving up the man she loves - it's all so cliched but Laura Malone has such a heartbreaking quality to her acting, and she truly seemed to be the only viable younger heroine on the show at this point. I wish they'd been able to do a real Mitch/Rachel/Mac triangle, which never seemed to happen. I would have loved a longer Mitch/Rachel/Janice/Mac story too. I like Ada's husband Charlie. I'm not sure why they killed him off so soon.
