  1. It's great to see Marcia McCabe again. She's great in that clip. Robin Christopher seems so bland to me in this role. I really think that was the show's biggest issue at this time. Here's another episode, thanks to AddieCate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab06iaK6XGo
  2. That's Susan Marie Snyder, yes (so glad she ditched that hair at ATWT).
  3. Michelle Collins has always looked pretty old. I still wish the Mitchells has never been on Eastenders.

  5. I did get a good laugh out of, "Katrina is furious Jenny would go through her drawers."
  6. Nice photo. This 1983 article talks about Another Life and interviews some of the actors.
  7. That would be a pretty scary photo if not for the absurdity of Melinda Fee's Mary.
  8. September 1979 Daytimers
  9. I don't think she did, but I'm not sure. I guess they meant she'd take time off to recuperate from all the work. Who were those two characters?
  10. December 1977 and September 1979 Daytimers
  11. When I've seen photos of her she seems like very odd casting - I guess she didn't last on the show very long. She reminds me of Julie Goodyear.
  12. September 1979 Daytimers December 1977.
  13. Who were the two on each side of Brown and Cheatham?
  14. I forgot Philip Sterling was on the show.

  16. It's the scenes of Rachel and Alice talking, after Rachel's near-death experience. The whole thing with Rachel seeing Steve and Janice is very cheesy (albeit satisfying), but the scenes where Rachel talks to Alice about Sally, and mourning, and then says Steve was at peace, and "I thought you'd want to know," with that teardrop in her voice, and Alice, equally moved, says something like, "I did,"...that scene truly got to me. Then they say they can see the sun coming up. It's what I watched soap operas for.
  17. She had incredible charisma. Her scenes with Rachel in the 25th anniversary just overpower with old school star power and pathos. I don't see it as much on OLTL, but I do in her AW appearances. I also think that there was a certain offbeat casting in such a masculine actress playing the long-suffering heroine.
  18. May 2001 Update. Actors in the running to play Colin on DAYS. Ingo Rademacher, Frank Grillo, Matt Crane, Brian Krause. An October 1995 Update mentions that a tabloid ran a false story about Sophia Loren joining B&B. This was denied, but then her people told B&B that there was a chance she COULD appear on the show.
  19. Thanks for reading. I find the decision to have a murder mystery surrounding Katrina to be very odd indeed.

  22. December 1977 Daytimers. This may be one of the most bizarre ideas for an advice column ever. Wouldn't YOU want to take advice from Lana and Karen??
