  1. I thought Tammy Lauren was off the show by the time of John's double. (awful story!)
  2. I know some said the show was never the same after Cindy paid the hitman to kill Ian. Michelle leaving was also a big end of an era. I keep forgetting she was even around in 1995. I wish she'd returned for some visits. What did you think of the episodes (also uploaded) when Peggy went to Spain and realized Frank was still alive?
  3. I want to see a lot of singing episodes from the 4 L's era.
  4. Mr. White House crasher is running for governor of Virginia. http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/sns-rt-us-salahi-governorbre83o1ik-20120425,0,2431710.story
  5. That quote about how Dash was not as bad because he did not jump out of the bushes says so much about rape stories on soaps and why they have helped kill the genre. I wonder how much of this story was even about Julia. That type of letter would never have been printed in a soap magazine of the last ten or fifteen years.

I like that they have to make EJ is actually dead.

  8. Ann Romney just loves that some women have no choice but to work. I'm sure they really appreciate that. Cue the liberal media telling us how kick-ass this is. I saw some Jeff Greenfield comment saying that this speech must make Obama's team take Maalox. I guess we've gotten to the point where a happy-smiley version of "let them eat cake" is kick-ass?? http://thinkprogress.org/special/2012/04/24/469896/ann-romney-women-work/

  11. The following articles are chopped up because I have a hard time scanning Weeklys. Sorry! July 23, 1991 Weekly.
  12. Candice left the business when she married in the early 90's. That's also why she left AMC.
  13. You're right - a little over ten years. 1999 or so. I like the idea of Victor "speaking" to every woman through the TV. It's a meta comment on soaps.
  14. From Daytime TV, December 1971 Ann Morrison joined the cast as Mrs. Nelson.
  15. I hadn't seen them either. I knew he could do comedy but hadn't seen him in any since the Mary Tyler Moore Show days. The first one is funnier, to me, but the second has that great cameo from Melody. It's hard to believe that was just ten years ago. Probably the last time I tolerated Victor.
  16. From Daytime TV, December 1971 On August 24, Rueben Greene and Tracey Brooks Swope joined the show in the roles of Dr. Jim Hudson and Elizabeth Harris Rainey, respectively. Also new to the cast is Charles Dobson as Dave the bartender.
  17. From Daytime TV, December 1971 Peter Broderick (>Jr. Bergman) left the show on August 24 and was replaced by Ray Belleram. Ray will not answer to the name of Jr. on the show. His full cast name will be Stuart Thomas Bergman. In June, Michael Clarke-Laurence joined the cast in the role of Ronald.
  18. From Daytime TV, December 1971 Mid-July, Melinda Plank joined the cast in the role of Danny (Daniele) Cotsworth.
  19. From Daytime TV, December 1971 Judi Rollin who played Didi Clayborne left the cast in July.

Moore, Jr. as Charles Lamont for the 13 weeks that John is in Hollywood filming 1776. On Sept. 6, Lee Kurty (Evelyn Corby), Leon B. Stevens (Dr. Kriessinger), Geraldine Brooks (Arden Delacorte) left the show. Sharon Brown (Daisy Allen) was replaced by Sheri Freels.
