  1. I'm sorry, I think I confused matters by putting the month of the magazine and then putting the airdate. It made it seems like she aired in March.

  3. Thanks for the 1970 numbers. Search for Tomorrow was still doing fairly well when CBS killed it. It could have been saved. I guess CBS just wanted it gone. What a waste.

  6. From the May 1972 Daytime TV. Ted Leplat (Terry Prescott) and Jeanne Ruskin (Lois Snowden) have been sent off to school, and are out of the story indefinitely. William Prince, as the judge, finished in January. Caroline Coates (Mrs. Harrison) finished; but may return in the future. Joe Mascolo, as Ed Lucas, is out, at least for now.
  7. From the May 1972 Daytime TV. Diane Dell is out as Lisa Britton. Jack Ryland, being replaced as Frank Carver, plans to move to Hollywood for a while.
  8. From the May 1972 Daytime TV. Ron Hussman (Dan Walton) was killed off in February. George Gaynes, who had played Sam Reynolds the past few months, returned to California, and Roy Shuman replaced him Jan. 17. (Robert Mandan had this role until he quit in 1970).
  9. From the May 1972 Daytime TV. Al Freeman Jr. began his role as a policeman, Lt. Hall in January.
  10. Rick Losey, child actor, started as Josh, Feb. 1. Polly Rowles, as Helen Hunt, is back in her occasional role. Mary Elizabeth Haring, playing the Baby Debbie, finished in January. John W. Moore resumed his Charles Lamont role, Jan. 3, after a 13-week absence, during which he worked in the movie, 1776, in Hollywood. He replaced his substitute, Stan Watt. Gene Bua (Bill Prentiss) was killed off Jan. 28.

Veleka Gray, who had replaced Donna Mills as Laura on Sept. 21, 1970, dropped out Jan. 26, and was succeeded two days later by Barbara Stranger. Vince Cannon, who had replaced Michael Hawkins as Mark, Nov. 15, 1971, left Jan. 26 - and was succeeded two days later by Tom Fuccello. Christopher Papes, boy actor, ended his role as Tommy Hale. Jane Manning did her last performance as Jean Jan. 31. Robert Drew, who had resumed his role as psychiatrist, Dr. Ellis, after two years' absence, ended his role again Jan. 28.
  12. From the May 1972 Daytime TV. Madeline Sherwood (Betty Eiler) and Graham Jarvis (Charles Eiler) finished their roles in January. Lee Richardson, playing police captain Jim Swanson, and David Pendleton (Gil Mehron) also completed their parts. Jeanne Arnold, as Mrs. Ellen Mason, mother of Janet, returned to the cast in January.
  13. From the May 1972 Daytime TV. Gillian Spencer (who played Victoria Lord Riley and Nicole Smith, a double role, on One Life to Live in 1968/9) replaced Geraldine Court as Jennifer Ryan, Feb. 2. Susan Davids succeeded Tiberia Mitri as Betsy Stewart Feb. 8.
  14. From the May 1972 Daytime TV. Andrew Jarkowsky started the role of Mark Venable in January. Ed Bryce plays the occasional role of Prof. Philip Lessner.
  15. From the May 1972 Daytime TV. Ken Rabat (Paul Martin) was replaced by Bill Mooney, Feb. 11. Michael Shannon (Bill Hofmann) is not expected to return, and has popped up as Jim McCarren on Search for Tomorrow. Tom Rosqui began as Jason Maxwell on Feb. 2.

  17. Since these magazines are so old I wasn't sure if it was already common knowledge, but since there isn't a big fan site for some of these shows (as there are for AW/Edge) I thought it was nice to have more details.
  18. March 1972 Daytime TV Ann Morrison who played Mrs. Nelson was killed off the show. Ivan Bonar joined as the District Attorney and Don Hamner as Lt. Adams.
  19. March 1972 Daytime TV Anthony Herrera was replaced by Nicholas Lewis in the role of Brannigan. Liam Sullivan was killed off the show. Joining were: Jacqueline Brooks (Ursula Winthrop, D.A.), Robert Sherwood (Doug Winthrop), Gary Campbell (Ass't. D.A.), and Richard Venture (Tom Gregory). All joined in late November, early December.
  20. March 1972 Daytime TV Eileen Kearney (Greta Powers) has been replaced by Jennifer Houlton. It's Jennifer's first acting job.
  21. March 1972 Daytime TV Madeline Sherwood and Graham Jarvis are Betty and Charles Eiler since October.
  22. March 1972 Daytime TV The end of December had Lois Kibbee (Geraldine Whitney), Alan Gifford (Gordon Whitney), Anthony Call (Senator Colin Whitney), Lucy Martin (Tiffany Whitney), Bruce Martin (Keith Whitney) and Stanley Grover (Dr. Kevin Reed) leaving the show.
  23. March 1972 Daytime TV In December, Margaret Impert replaced Robin Strasser as Rachel Clark. Pierrino Mascarino (Tom Albini) is gone. Aiden McNulty plays the role of Jamie.
  24. March 1972 Daytime TV Judy Safran (Maria) has been sent away and Mike Hawkins (Mark Elliott) was replaced by Vince Cannon on Nov. 15.
  25. March 1972 Daytime TV Oren Jay has been replaced as Baby Johnny by Raymond Cass.
