  1. [!@#$%^&*] I'm going to have nightmares about Hershel's head. Thank goodness Chris Hardwick lightened the mood with the pudding. Still, that was too much for me. Talking Dead is always more frightening than Walking Dead, somehow.
  2. Danai cares so much about her character. I will have to go and watch that dream scene again to notice all the details.
  3. That last scene. The smile on Rick's face. Pure joy. And Michonne's reaction at seeing them. This show is pushing every single Rick/Michonne button I have.
  4. That Michonne scene - seeing her just lose it like that was incredible. Yet it was also a gut punch. And she killed "herself" first. Danai is superb.
  5. That scene was scary as hell. The note Carl left behind...he's still such a kid. I loved that whole scene.
  6. I guess those walkers she killed are so fresh they drown it out.
  7. I loved that shot of Michonne seeing a walker so similar to her. I loved that whole scene of her walking with the pack.
  8. Carl throwing up after all the zombies are on him, and the "I win" - good reminders that he's still a kid, no matter how much he may be trying to toughen up.
  9. Michonne She was gorgeous. Still is, but wow. I hate seeing how much she's lost. Carl looks like Kristy McNichol. That Shane mention - ouch. I guess Carl has never gotten over it.
  10. Michonne is so depressed and broken. It just shows what a great actress Danai is because we've seen now that Michonne is so much more than that. The Hershel scene was so upsetting. He looked green, almost.
  11. I don't get the feeling that anything with Bob and Susan was planned that early on (she seemed to be somewhat hard and bitter when she returned, sort of in the peanut gallery, like John), but I don't know. This story is so tragic - she finds a good man and yet she still can't beat her demons. I'd love to see some of her 70s work as Susan too. I don't know what the early 80s writers would have done to her, but I wish she'd stayed longer. I guess the show had a glut of actresses in that age range, and they defined her by Dan and her alcoholism, so they didn't see a need for her, but she would have been a real asset.
  12. Isn't that footage from last season's reunion?
  13. Spring 1996 clip, I guess.
  14. Promo at about 4:40.

  16. Great to see that cliffhanger with Rachel threatening someone. You might want to edit one of the lines in the Stacey/Jake conversation - I think "you" is repeated twice. Felicia is just looking for reasons not to trust Mitch. Glad Jake is learning more of the truth. Vicky will be furious.
  17. It sounds like something you don't see very often, especially with a male character. I guess these shows had run long enough to where the women were being put in the roles of finding/rescuing/helping the men in their lives, to show a woman's eternal strength, etc. etc. I know on one of the radio soaps, a woman had to find her husband after he was wandering the globe as an amnesiac.
  18. That guy is too young to play Jeff, and it's weird seeing him paired with Hilary, who should have been about 15-20 years his junior. And they're so handsy after barely meeting. Nice to see so much of Phoebe's place. Why was Cecily scheming against Hilary and Mitch? Mitch looks like Dave Coulier. Erica was so melodramatic in her prayer, but she was very much in control when she was with "Noelle." I like that. Really enjoyed everything with Ross, Ellen, and Mark, then Ross with Adam and Stuart. Ellen and Mark made a good couple, with real potential to be a patriarch and matriarch if they'd been given a chance. Stuart trying to comfort Ross, only for Ross to turn against him in paranoia - so sad. I love the talk between Adam and Stuart too. Stuart loved his family so much. I feel like in later years the show sometimes just remembered his relationship with Adam. I really like Hilary. I like that she refused to run after Mitch when he believed the worst of her. So rare. Can you imagine that on a soap today? That's Courtney Simon, who recurred on AMC for years as Dr. Anna Tolan, in the commercial at 40 minutes. The show had such a huge cast at this point, to the point where some just pop up for one scene (like Creed Kelly). Hey, the woman Creed is threatening played Clarissa's mother on Clarissa Explains It All!
