  1. Here you go a picture of Centre Court taken during the 2007 Fina Wolrd Swimming Championships. This venue can do just about anything & everything lol.
  2. Hmm the women's final can be interesting after the last time Serena played a Belgium woman that was making a come back lol.
  3. Oh to be at a age that I can do that. I remember getting home at 5.30 am after a night out and out the door again at 10.00 am for another night out (4 day weekends where I may have gotten about 16 hours sleep in total). Lucky if I can make it to midnight these days. The Hewitt/Baghdatis match turned out to be a bit of a fizzer, left the room for about a minute during the 2nd set and come back to see Hewitt talking to Courier. A little of topic and back to the "Hit for Haiti" they showed a bit of Rodrick during his part and he went up to a line judge and said "Are you really going to foot fault me during a charity match, you know that Serena is sitting just over there." Every one including Serena had a good laugh.
  4. That is right 2.00 am is early for the kids that are out night clubbing. I remember back in 2008 a match that didn't finish until nearly 5.00 am. And they are playing each other again tonight.Hewitt v Baghdatis.
  5. lol, I can see that you were able to stay up and not have a little cry about it. Unlike a certain a Aussie player that had to have a little whinge about playing until after 2.00 am. When I heard that I was thinking, hmm you want to be a professional tennis player you need to take playing matches that will go to the early hours of the morning, if other players can do so can you. I do think that if he had won he wouldn't have complained. It wasn't the organiser's fault that there was a really great women's match on before hand that went over 2 hours and that his match was 5 sets. If he want's to play with the big boys then he needs to grow up, or stay on the junior cuircut. Will get off my soapbox now lol.
  6. I guess it would be the line judge, the one that foot faulted her.
  7. You may enjoy this If I was just a few floors higher I would be able to see the Tennis Centre from the office window.
  8. The umpire that was at the end of Serena's outburst will be officating at the Australian open, will they cross paths? She did umpire at the Medibank tournament in Sydney but weren't on the same court at the same time. But I do have to say WTG Serena on her return comment to a reporter at a press conference when he asked her about how her anger management was going (or something to that effect) she asked him how his writing was going. Who do you think will win the first Grand Slam event of the year. On a lighter note Roger Federer organised a fund raiser for Haiti on Sunday. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/stars-into-charity-racquet-for-haiti/story-e6frf7jo-1225820534513 Hmm I think this would have picked up anything that was said lol. (Wonder if her mother knows that she went snowboarding yet). Hands up, who want's to be Kim Clijsters here. Somehow I don't think that "Triples" will take off. 10. Bernard Curry hosted Beauty and the Geek Australia. This last week got interesting, watched the season finale.
  11. Some of the cast of Glee was in the audience for Australian Idol last night
  12. Lincoln Lewis is on this seasons DWTS down under (and there is a blind guy as well) Recent happenings on the show. Trey put a bomb on a bus. The Doc had her baby. Belle has cancer and only a short time to live. Belle and Aden have married. Charlie and Angelo are together. Charlie has been hit by a car and the guy that was driving has something to do with Joey. (this only happened last night) ETA - The guy that was driving the car was Joey's brother. Angelo knows about her and Joey now and doesn't know what is going to happen with them and its not because she had a relationship with another woman it was because he felt like she couldn't share it with him and was keeping it a secret like she did with their relationship and is wondering what else she is keeping secret. And it seem's like she is keeping a big one. From what was implied last night Charlie just may be Ruby's mother and not her sister.

  15. Derek is ok, but I can't stand Meredith. We just had the eppy, with Christina giving the solo surgery to Alex. I can't understand how the hell Meredith would think that she would get it.
  16. http://tvweek.ninemsn.com.au/section.aspx?...onname=inthemag This week on H&A
  17. Wait till you see Tony after he finds out that Angelo was the one that shot Jack I watch H&A on and off, hate that Master Chef is on at the same time and since I can only watch one channel as my cable goes through my VCR I can't tape one and watch the other. Here are some things that you may or may not have already seen so I have put them in spoiler tags.
  18. Looks like H&A may do a lesiban storyline with Charlie and Joey http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...5006022,00.html Shaking my head. So it is ok for shows to have teenage pregnancie's, kid's hooked on drugs and selling them, alcoholism and not cause a stir, but the moment a gay storyline is put on the table then moral groups are up in arms.
  19. Sally rang Miles (I think it was) off camera to let them know that Cassie had a girl and that the baby was free of the HIV virus. I think that Sally is missed every now and then. Viewers got to see a lot with Sally seeing her grow up on the show (don't see that all that much with any soap) and all her firsts.
  20. WOW what ending that was for the next couple of weeks. Thing look like they are going to really fast paced when Home and Away returns.
  21. Tony proposes to Rachel, and she excepted. She wants to start a family, but it turns out that Tony, had the snip, sometime after Beth's death (when the hell did he fit that in?), and he can't have it reversed, due to complications of some sort. Another childless relationship for Rachel, then. After her plot to break-up Rachel/Tony was revealed, as well as a frank talk with Rachel, Jazz decided to take stock of her life, and leave town to reconnect with Drew. Gavin, the jerk newspaper editor, tried to have, The Den, shut down, as part of some revenge attempt against Belle, for quitting her photo journalism job, by insulting him. He failed. Leah and Miles tried to fight their attraction to one another. Miles tracked down a kid, he'd befriended in Phuket, who he'd promised to look after. Jai was reluctant at first, but decided to come and stay with Miles, in Summer Bay House. He struck up a friendship with Maddie, due to her perfume reminding him of his Mum. Noel blackmailed Ric, into partaking in under-ground bare-knuckle-fighting. Viv's unborn bayb, which was Ric's, was at stake. Ric came up against an old member of Johnny's gang. Viv's baby was diagnosed with a disability, she tried to flee, but Noel, caught her. Ric managed to scrape with his life, but Viv lost the baby, while Noel faked his death to escape his debts, as well as the cops. Maddie organized a sweet memorial for the baby. Ric got a job as a security guard, working with Aden's dad, Larry. During an armed robbery (Kane), Larry was shot, and Ric was injured. He's now suffering from post-traumatic stress. Geoff and Melody became the new, Romeo & Juliet. After Nicole's bet to snag him for herself failed, Christine (Melody's Mum) plotted to keep them apart (uber catholic, everything's a sin, etc), first by taking on Miles, and his chosen reading material, which basically put the kids to sleep, than corrupt; then by issuing a restraining order against, Geoff. It was at Nicole's (Roman's teenage daughter) party, which was gate crashed by Axel's mates, that saw Axel try to seduce Melody, even though she said no. Belle and Aden started to draw closer. Their flirtation nearly boiled over into something more. He's still dealing with his grandfather's abuse, and is feeling betrayed by his father. Larry swore his was off the grog, but during the night of the armed robbery, in which he got shot, he'd been drinking, which has caused complications. Nicole showed that she cared for him, by opening up her heart, but he broke it by rebuffing her, and subsequently forgetting their tête-a-tête. And Nicole's reasons for being in town - her mother's boyfriend tried it on with her. During Sam's murder case, Morag hooked up with old lover, Ross. Colleen's over protectiveness of newly discovered sister, nearly cost Morag her relationship. Alf persuaded Morag to give into her feelings, and let love take hold. Ross' daughter Charlie, arrived, non to pleased about the budding romance. She saw it as a crime against her dead mother's memory. Kane and Kirsty returned, with their son, Oliver in tow. Irene ended up hiding the fugitives, while Oliver received treatment for a bone condition. After a car chase, Kane was caught, and arrested for several robberies. Kirsty was devastated. I've probably left heaps out. But this is the gist of where we are. It's all a bit boring, really. I loved Jazz, and Rachel Gordon, who played her. Simply stunning. I thought it was her Neighbours, role as faux-Dr. Charlotte Stone, which was completely different to her Blue Heelers Character? Maybe I'm mistaken, but it come before Jazz... I can't get into Martha's story, at all. It's all been there, done that, bought the rehashed t-shirt. I know that it's "new" for H&A, but it's not even been 2 years, since the exact same story was done on Neighbours. And even if they leave out the sectioning part, it'll still feel too much the same, IMO. I haven't watched neighbours in years. Rachel Gordon played a Detective in the last couple of seasons of Blue Heelers and was sexually abused by her uncle. She was tough and could mix it up with the best of them.
  22. If anyone is downloading current show please note that tonights (thursday) show goes for an hour instead it's usual 30 minutes due to an earlier start for the football and the opening ceremony on Friday.
  23. They had an earthquake (I think it was) some time back and the Diner was destoryed. Roman and (for the life of me I can't remember her name right now) opened a Diner/Drop in centre in an old boat shed. I know that it has Dan's name in it in memory of Dan
  24. Kane is in jail serving time for a few crimes including one that he didn't commit, which was the one that caused him and Kirsty to go on the run in the first place.
  25. Jazz was great, but for the actress that played her it was a completely different role than what she had on Blue Heelers. Who's the daddy has been all stitched up, but I do feel for Martha as she is battling breast cancer. This friday is gone to be the last eppy for two weeks due to the Olympic, but this week promises to be good with Nicole's life being in danger.
