  1. Thank God. Someone has been really trying it this year.
  2. I literally cackled. Thank you, Khan. How interesting that Julianne seemingly doesn't have any Italian ancestry and yet ... I guess somebody somewhere was doing something they shouldn't have been doing.
  3. Ah, I didn't realize he was making a point about how long the other nominees are. Thanks for clue-ing me up. As for the lead male category, it really is a shame Bradley Cooper has lost any hype/hope at winning. I've been critical of his last two nominations, but he should have been the front runner this year. I don't know why he isn't. Glenn Close absolutely deserves it this year. The Wife will be a forgettable film, but her performance in it is outstanding. I will be rooting for her to win, and that's coming from someone that champions A Star is Born and absolutely loves Olivia Colman. I do believe the latter will be nominated again in future and will eventually have her time.
  4. For this year maybe, but overall, not even close.
  5. Arlene Francis resembles Helen Mirren in that beautiful picture of her.
  6. I guess you never watched One Tree Hill. Her character, Haley Scott, was a singer too. This was one of the songs she sang on the show.
  7. I read an article about that today. It would be great if we got a surprise interview with Alexandra Isles, nee Moltke.
  8. Looking up the actors who played Philip 'Chance' Chancellor before John Driscoll is blowing my freaking mind. So obviously there is Penn Badgley, who is having a career high right now with YOU. Then there is Thomas Dekker who has maintained a steady and successful career as an actor ever since he left. But even the lesser known children who played him are actors that are instantly recognizable to me. I can't wrap my brain around the fact that "Uh-huh" from the The Little Rascals film played Chance. I watched that film all the time as a kid and he was my favourite part. Courtland Mead also voiced Gus from the animated show Recess, another huge part of my childhood. There there is Alex Lind who I instantly recognized as the kid from One Fine Day, with Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney. He also had the unfortunate task of trying to continue the Home Alone franchise. Both of them don't look too shabby either from the most recent pictures I can find. Now, Nicolas Poppone I don't recognize at all, but I found out he left acting at 13 to study violin. He uploaded this video in July 2018! I know this post was just random babbling no one should care about, but I needed to get it out of my system.
  9. I eye-rolled at that line myself. The article has a handful of typos as well. Still, it's nice to see what actors who left the business are doing these days. Did he and Sarah Michelle Gellar ever cross paths on AMC?
  10. Apologies if this was posted before, but I found an interview posted in September 2018 with Shane McDermott (Scott Chandler #2). https://www.cincinnati.com/story/entertainment/2018/09/18/airborne-he-cincinnati-heartthrob-where-shane-mcdermott-now/1337375002/ Does anyone have a preference for their Scott Chandler of choice?

  19. It was watchable for a time when I was pre-teen ... because I was a pre-teen. Still, it introduced me to great actors of the genre like Andrea Evans, Kim Johnston-Ulrich, Juliet Mills, Robin Strasser, and many soap hunks my young gay self was happy to watch half naked almost everyday.
  20. I checked the first page and didn't see their names: Paul Anthony Stewart Tom Pelphrey Lawrence Saint-Victor Murray Bartlett Jeff Branson Marshall Hilliard Ethan Erickson Kevin Mambo Paulo Benedeti Ryan Brown
  21. With drag queen Tammie Brown !!! The song brings me back to my high school years.
