  1. A core childhood memory of mine is being in a hotel room with my family from one of the times my parents used to drive us to and from Florida for vacation and "To Sir, with Love" being on TV. I was mesmerized. He was the classiest of all actors. RIP!
  2. I also highly recommend listening to season one of TCM's podcast detailing Peter Bogdanovich's career and life.
  3. Passions was one of those shows where some actors were good, some were Passions good, and then the rest were just absolutely abysmal in every way.
  4. Gay men that hook up with carbon copies of each other will always weird me out.
  5. Until the Last Blast crew, my memories watching as a child are very spotty. I can remember Krista Allen giving 'swamp girl' a makeover and that damn compact everyone went on and on about, but I probably never even saw Brandon Tyler because of school. At that tender age, JKJ and Jason Cook added to my sexual awakening at the time and that's all I really cared about critically speaking. I never cared for Belle until MM's version had the affair with Philip. Prior to that I liked him with Chloe, and to this day, have always detested Brady Black and, if death actually meant something, truly believe killing him would be a great idea. I honestly can't speak to his acting ability anymore because I haven't watched in years, just the odd clip here and there, but it seems to be pretty universal that JKJ has been awful, which is saddening to hear, because at the very least I always found him rootable. Also, glad to see you back Kenny! OT: Are you watching Dexter: New Blood? I'm cautiously loving it!
  6. Not as an actor, but he is very successful as a sports TV journalist now.
  7. Requests: Shannon Sturges Vito D'Ambrosio Patricia Healy Deborah Moore Charley Lang Kathy Connell Patrick Muldoon Erik von Detten
  8. I would love to see the Laura/Roman/Kate triangle, but you best believe Bill should be an equal part of it. Let him and Kate reach the potential they never did, but in the end, Bill and Laura reunite once and for all. I can't help but always be in his corner. The poor bastard is given short shrift far too much for my liking.
  9. First requests of the New Year: Sandra Canning Shayna Rose Shelley Hennig Mark Charles Ritter Robert Curtis Brown Mark Costello Kirk Geiger Caitlin Wachs Robert Mailhouse Dick Christie
  10. With Betty White's passing, Maria Riva becomes the earliest Emmy nominated actor that is still with us. She is currently 97 years old.
  11. Requests: Beverly Leech Patrice Chanel Ray Oriel Peter Jolly Michael Laurance Staci Greason
  12. Might as well say Paul was in there 🤣.
  13. I'd like to think it was his decision considering he does have that other gig on that CW show (I can't remember which one right now), so maybe he's hoping for greener pastures.
  14. I loved Sharp Objects and his season of Big Little Lies. I also encourage anyone who hasn't seen it to watch the Quebecois film, C.R.A.Z.Y, that he directed/wrote/produced. It's a modern classic coming of age queer story.
  15. Requests: Lieux Dressler Billy Hufsey Bever Leigh-Banfield Tom Morga Jim Lunsford Michael Bays Pamela Brull Chelsea Noble Susan Saldivar
  16. If that was the case, it'd be great if he was the one who kidnapped Sami as revenge.
  17. Requests: Charlotte Ross Shellye Broughton Bumper Robinson Thyme Lewis Valerie Karasek Sherry Hursey
  18. I'm watching it and still can't believe it actually happened.
  19. Excuse me? Is this literal? Please, tell me more as I've never heard anything about this.
  20. Yeah, it was you changing it to Matthew Macfayden that gave me the idea to make a thread about it. I have yet to watch Succession, but getting into new shows I always wonder if it's best to wait until they're finished before starting them.
  21. A lot of times I become curious about who the pictures are of in people's avatar's, so I thought I'd make a thread where people can ask others who some might be and/or post who/what is in their avatars or signatures (but I personally have those taken off for faster loading.) To start, my avatar is of actress Marsha Hunt, the oldest living actor in the world. And for my first question, @DRW50 may I ask who is in your new avatar? You're always strike me as interesting.
  22. Requests: Amy Yasbeck Jessica Puscas Joseph Adams James Acheson Mark Valley Steve Wilder

  24. It's normal for the Globes to do this, but that Ben Affleck nomination is so random.
  25. I think everyone would rejoice if Chas was the one who died. Even people that like the Dingles hate her. She hasn't been watchable since Carl and is probably the least liked character on the show. Of course, that would unfortunately never happen.
