  1. I'd never noticed before how much Claire Cooper reminds me of Anne Heche. A very similar face card and talent oozing out of their every pore. What a dream come true to see her again. But leaving her story on a cliffhanger (presumably), I don't think I like that.
  2. Random, but Bo and Hope make sense in Boston. Jack and Jennifer absolutely do not.
  3. Oscar nominee Marisa Pavan, passes away aged 91! The last of the 1956 Oscar actor nominees to pass away, making 1957 the earliest consecutive year an actor nominee is still living per year.
  4. Can someone link or post the Robert Hooks post about her?
  5. We don't talk about that. How could Sheri Anderson (et al) get it so horribly wrong?
  6. And only roughly 30% of them voted. Who are those other 70%?
  7. That's because they just planned on doing a quick recast, but the strike postponed it.
  8. Shane is supposed to be even richer than Stefano. Theresa's whole characterization has always been ass.
  9. My guess is because when Nicole gets her baby back she's going to change the name so they didn't want to waste a name for temporary use.
  10. Anyone know J. Eddie Peck's first airdate as Cole? I'm seeing April 2, but different places say 1992 and 1993.
  11. Abby being in the center of the Winters picture is so tone dead. Not surprising with this show.
  12. I'm not into superhero films, but Nicholas Hoult can do no wrong. One of the best of his generation.
  13. Ya'll know Ron Carlivati is on the phone to him as we speak.
  14. I never really cared for Dom. It was nice for him to get a happy ending in 2013 after his awful 2010 exit, and I'm happy to leave the character there.
  15. She's always a welcome presence in my book. How Liberty and Damon ended was so unrewarding.
  16. Lauren Koslow is now on recurring, according to @JAS0N47. She was consecutively on contract the longest. Josh Taylor, having been continuously on contract since 2004, takes that distinction, which makes it even sadder. It'll be interesting to see if this changes when Albert Alarr is officially gone.
  17. Lucy Allan was first credited in August 2021, while Dunn exited in December. However, whatever producer was in charge, I think either the production company (Lime Pictures) or the network went above their heads and it was out of the show's hands because Mandy was being written for consistently and wonderfully since her return in 2016 with no hints of them losing favour. To my astonishment, Kirkwood, who had written for her horribly during his first stint, somehow managed to figure her out when he brought her back. I'll hold on to the fact that we had a few solid years of her before we lost her.
  18. Thanks for bringing over that obituary of him, much appreciated!
  19. How did you learn of Michael Ingram's passing? Is there an obituary anywhere?
  20. I won't lay what happened with Sarah Jayne Dunn/Mandy at her feet, but I'll never forgive her for killing off Verity and Justin. She's a damn fool.
  21. I completely disagree. Alex Fletcher is one of the best actors to ever be on the show. Kirkwood letting Diane out of the house and giving her a solid status on the show by pairing her with Tony was one of his better ideas in his second stint. Probably never would have lasted if Claire Cooper hadn't of left. Tony and Cindy were always an awful pairing and never should have happened. And Grace the cold blooded murderer, whose whole family is also dead, should have been written out ages ago.
  22. Another young soap actor has left us. Johnny Ruffo, who played Chris Harrington from 2013-2016 has passed away after a battle with brain cancer. He was 35. https://thewest.com.au/entertainment/celebrity-death/johnny-ruffo-home-and-away-star-has-passed-away-after-battle-with-brain-cancer--c-12506618
  23. We still have no idea who she's playing. Rita seemed to imply she isn't playing Mandy on Twitter. The Hannah news very much surprised me. It'll be so good to see her again, but of course, I'm weary at they'll be doing with her.
