At Memorial, the doctor gives Jack the good news that he can go home tomorrow after they keep him for an additional 24 hours for monitoring. Jack insists that Carly and Parker get checked out by Dr. Michaels, but Carly protests that she and Parker are just fine. Jack applauds Parker for his heroic efforts, saying that if it had not have been for him, bad things might have happened. Carly goes to answer a knock at the door and reveals Kit standing on the other side. Kit issues her apologies for leaving them high and dry. She explains that she had been tailing Sam for months, well aware of his troubled wrap sheet. She was waiting for him to make his next move when Silas and Ava kidnapped J.J.

She did all she could to help, even phoning in anonymous tips to the FBI, but she couldn't do that much so as not to blow her cover with Sam. When Sam got a mysterious letter mailed to him and immediately wanted to go to Oakdale, she went with the flow. However, her boss pulled her out right before the grand opening of Metro, fearing that Sam was finally catching on. Then, last night, just as they were going to make their move, Jack called the FBI and told of his plans to take down Leonard Samuels. Upon hearing the name, the FBI knew Jack was onto Sam now too and they hurried to help Jack, but by the time they got to Metro, Parker had already crippled Sam with the bullet. Now, Sam is on his way to a federal penetentiary.

Carly asks Jack if he knew about all this, but Jack denies he did. Carly thanks Kit for all her help, but seems bitter at Kit for not helping them enough in Idaho and for waiting too long in the shadows for Sam to make a move. Kit apologizes and says that she has a baby girl of her own and she knows she'd be mad if she were in Carly's shoes, but Kit defends her actions, saying she was just doing her job.

At Luthers Corners, friends and family gather to remember the tortured soul that was Craig Montgomery. The man lived a troubled life, fueled by his intense longing for some sort of acceptance from his family and his agonizing search to fulfill the hole in his heart that was widened by Bryant's early demise and Lucy and Johnny's absence.

Lyla cries as she watches her baby boy be remembered.

Margo speaks first. She talks of a brother that was hardly understood. Everyone took him for a man that wanted nothing but to disrupt lives and families. But Margo remembers the good times. She remembers a man that would have done anything for his family.

Katie's next. She cries that Craig was only her half-brother, but she loved him with a whole heart. She remembers how she neglected him, joining the rest of the world in turning their back on him. She didn't realize just how good of a brother he was. She often harped on the bad things that he said or did, but she never took time to appreciate him for the kind soul he really was.

Lily gets up next to speak. She flashes back to some times that she shared with Craig in the past. Just as she chokes back the tears to speak, Lucinda bursts through the doors. Lucinda asks them all if they've not forgotten the man that Craig really was. The man that did everything in his power to sabatoge this town and everyone in it. Do they not remember the man that would smile at them one second and stab them in the back the next, she protests. Lucinda angrily screams that they might all be remembering a kind man who got the short end of the stick, but he was the devil and they all know it. Lily and Margo are finally able to grab Lucinda and force her out.

As the tense air returns to normal, a musical montage of happy Craig memories plays.

As the montage starts to end, we see people laying white roses at the altar, consoling Lyla, Margo, and Katie, and then leaving. Meg scurries out wiping away tears. Later, she spies Paul and Rosanna being more cuddly than ever. To herself, Meg vows that Rosanna will regret ever spending time with Paul.

Dr. Hilton counters that cancer is a very serious disease and she should treat it as such. Barbara finally agrees to come in, just as she turns around and notices Paul eavesdropping.

Noah and Luke tour their new apartment together. The real estate agent comes in and tells them both that the landlord has refused their offer. When Luke asks why, the realtor makes up excuses but Luke knows it's because they're gay.

Outside of Metro, Carly asks the contractor how long it will take to repair the fire damage to Metro. Jack arrives and tells Carly that she has no money to be rebuilding Metro and asks where she plans on getting the money. Cary acts tough and tells Jack that she'll find a way. She asks what he's doing here and he tells her that Parker got suspended from school today. Carly groans and offers to come talk to the principal with Jack, but Jack tells her that she doesn't need to. He already has and Parker can go back to school next week. Jack tells Carly that Parker's rebellion is partly because of....but Carly stops him short, telling him not to dare blame Parker's behavior on Sam. Sam is a good man and she knows that Jack is jealous. Jack laughs and tells Carly to think what she wants. Little do they both know that Sam is discarding the evidence from the fire. Sam looks over and tells Cowboy Jack that his plans are just beginning.

Snow falls outside the lonely remote Colorado cabin that Rosanna sits in. Before long, her driver comes in and asks Mrs. Cabot if she's taken to the state while being here on business or if she's ready to return home to her husband. Rosanna blankly replies that she and Paul are no longer together. He and Meg are expecting a child together and she wishes them nothing but happiness. The driver apologizes and grabs her luggage. Rosanna stops the driver and asks him if he has any family. He replies cheerfully that he has two baby girls. Outside, through the snow, Rosanna sees a family skiing with their toddler son and sighs heavy. She knows that Cabot would be about three this year and it breaks her heart to think that she'll never see him again.

Paul paces in front of the bathroom door. He hollers for Meg and asks if she's alright. Meg finally emerges from the bathroom, claiming that she's still not used to the sickness. Paul consoles her, but talk of pregnancy makes Meg remember that Paul deserted her with Craig. Paul wonders aloud if Meg is ever going to let it go. She seemed happy with Craig. She told Paul time and time again that she didn't have feelings for him anymore. Meg takes it back and says that her hormones are raging. Later, while Paul is outside getting the car ready to go out to dinner, Meg tells herself that although she miscarried a few weeks ago, she needs to keep Paul thinking that she's pregnant until she can make sure Rosanna is no longer a threat.

Brushing the snow off her boots, Gwen unlocks the door to the cottage. Going through the house, she finds Will and Hallie asleep on the bed. Gwen returns to the living room and sees a message on the machine. It's from New Chances Rehab Center in Chicago. Dr. Beder gets on the phone and tells Gwen that Iris has been admitted into their facility. Gwen rolls her eyes at her mother's latest ploy for attention. Will sneaks up from behind Gwen, nearly giving her a heart attack. Gwen asks how long Hallie has slept and groans that she probably won't sleep through the night again. Will assures Gwen that soon, they'll get time to themselves.

"Finally," Katie huffs as Craig waltzes in the door. "NOW can we get down to business? I have to be at WOAK in an hour." Margo rolls her eyes and tells her mother that now she has all the children together. What did she come back to Oakdale for? A hush falls over the room when Lyla informs them that she is slowly dying. Katie busts into tears, Margo holds her mother's trembling frame, and Craig takes a seat next to his baby sister. Later, after everyone has left except Katie, Lyla tells Katie that dying isn't the only reason that she returned to Oakdale. She returned partly in hopes to push Katie to get hold of herself. Lyla gripes that she heard about Katie's recent baby-making mission with Brad Snyder and makes it clear to Katie that she is not thrilled. She expects more from her daughter than chasing after a policeman that will keep the same wife until he dies, pining over an Australian scoundrel who does her wrong every time, and trying to make babies with her worst enemy simply to make a baby. Katie, tears pouring, storms out of the room.

According to ANTW's latest interview with Oakdale Digest, fan favorite Scott Bryce will exit the role of Craig Montgomery sometime this week. The exit is storyline dictated. "We wish Scott well in all his future endeavors, but Craig's exit from Oakdale will send shockwaves through the town and leave tons of story to tell for months to come," promises Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford.

In other news, Martha Madison was recently seen leaving ANTW's new studio in Louisiana. Word has it that she and TPTB are in negotiations for Madison to tackle a role for the show. Madison was recently given the pink slip after a long, successful role as Belle Black on NBC soap opera "Days of Our Lives". Her exit strengthens rumors that she might not be ready to quit the soap world just yet.

Lastly, it's been quite a while since Oakdale has seen James Stenbeck. Could the villain of yesteryears soon return to terrorize the town of Oakdale once again? Rumors are running wild that soap vet Anthony Herrera, who portrays the dastardly devil, has said recently that he would love to return to his character's old stomping grounds. Only time will tell.

Lyla stands in shock that her daughter would think that her mother would need an ulterior motive to return to the same town that she once called home. Margo knocks on the door and Lyla answers it, cheerily welcoming her in. Just then, it clicks with Katie. Margo called Lyla home. But for what? Not knowing the answer for herself, Katie says it out loud, bringing both Margo and Lyla to look at Katie with blank expressions. Again, it clicks. Margo called Lyla to Oakdale to lecture Katie. Katie becomes furious, grabs her coat, and goes to leave but Margo grabs her arm and tells her to sit down so they can all talk.

Nancy comes downstairs when she hears the commotion in the kitchen. She finds Bob sulking in the parlor and Kim crying on a bench outside the home. Nancy goes in and chastises Bob. Bob won't hear of it. Chris, he says, wanted one thing and one thing only...power...and he wasn't going to let his father get in his way. Nancy reminds Bob that Bob hasn't always been fair with Chris. Perhaps Chris felt backed into a corner. He stood by and watched Bob gush over Tom and Frannie his whole life. Perhaps he just wanted some recognition, some love. Perhaps he went about it the wrong way, but everyone deserves a second chance. Nancy promises Bob that Chris is still the kind hearted, gentle boy he once was. However, Bob remains adamant otherwise, forcing Nancy to surrender her pleas.

Casey apologizes for running into Sofie, but Sofie takes the blame, promising that she'll watch where she's going next time. Both introduce themselves. A sound of silence permeates the air for far too long and Casey soon excuses himself. Later, Sofie finds Aaron and Alison playing around in the hay loft. A disheartened Sofie turns around to return to the Wagon Wheel, but Casey stops her and invites her to go with him for some hot apple pie at Al's.

Shocked, Carly wonders aloud who would want to set Metro on fire. Sam excuses himself, and before he has time to walk a decent distance, Jack tells Carly that he knows exactly who started the fire. Her freak friend with the talking puppet. Carly slaps Jack for his low accusation and reminds him that Sam pulled her out of her darkest moment and helped her realize that shades of the old, cheerful Carly were still alive. Jack is hurt that Carly didn't seek him for help, but Carly laughs that Jack was too busy doing the horizontal mambo with Katie Whoretti to even notice her. Jack, now even more hurt, turns his back and walks off leaving Carly to regret the harsh words that just slithered out of her mouth.

Back in Dusty and Emily's hotel room, Dusty asks again why Emily never told him of Chris's last minute love letter. Emily snatches the letter and hisses that he needs to keep his meddling nose out of her personal things. All she asked for was some lotion, not the third degree. Dusty quickly apologizes, but the damage is done and Emily goes outside to cool off.

Lucinda stands shocked at Craig's latest bombshell. Luicnda promises Craig that Lucy and Johnny are nowhere near Barbados. Craig takes it that Lucy must have changed her mind about trusting her old buzzard grandmother. Lucinda asks Craig to trust her...she knows exactly where Lucy and Johnny are NOT, and that's in Barbados. Craig remains adamant and Lucinda finally tells Craig to go on his own wild goose chase before storming out. Almost set to go, Craig gets a phone call. Margo wants him to come see their mother before he leaves.

Katie sits all alone in a suite at the Lakeview. Soon, Lyla emerges, gushing about her new singing job at the Lakeview. Katie, obviously distraught, asks her mother to go ahead and tell her the real reason she has returned to Oakdale.

Brushing away tears from her eyes, Kim reads the latest letter that Chris has sent from prison. Kim knows Chris like the back of her hand. She knows her baby boy wanted what was best for the hospital and never meant to hurt his father. Bob comes in from his latest physical therapy appointment and Kim shows him the letter. Bob rips the letter in a fiery rage and tells Kim that Chris is no son of his.

Barbara slips into the back of Luthers Corners Church and says a silent prayer to herself. The pastor emerges from his office and notes that Barbara hasn't been to the church in years. Barbara asserts it to the hectic work schedule at B.R.O. The pastor notes Barbara's odd speech and asks her about it. Barbara flees the church with tears in her eyes.

Casey brushes past Meg in the Snyder family kitchen. Meg laughs and says that Mama has him working like a slave. Casey huffs, knowing that his part time job as stable boy at Emma Snyder's farm is one of the many experiments that his family has tried to get him back into the swing of Oakdale life. Sofie comes in, searching for Aaron, and literally crashes into Casey.

Carly stands in shock as she watches firefighters douse the blaze that has overtaken Metro. Sam rushes towards her and asks if she's alright. Carly, fuming, asks Sam where he was and why he didn't show up to help her with the new floor plans for the karaoke stage. Sam makes up an excuse and asks Carly to forgive him. Before she can say anything, Jack emerges and tells Carly that the fire wasn't accidental.

Dusty and Emily lay in lovers' bliss inside their hotel room. Dusty knew that taking Emily away from Oakdale would free her mind of Chris and the sham of a romance that she had with him. Emily goes to take a shower and asks Dusty too hand her something from her purse. While going through it, he finds a letter that Chris sent Emily, apologizing for everything. Tearing back the shower curtain, Dusty throws the letter in her face and asks her to explain why she never told him about it.

Coming from his study, Craig asks the maid to prepare hiis luggage. Lucinda comes in and cackles that Craig's latest reign of terror in Oakdale has ended. She was able to resume control of Worldwide, the rift between Lily and Holden that Craig helped widen has been repaired, and Meg has finally given up on him. Craig surprisingly tells Lucinda that she's right...except for one thing. He's not retreating. He's going to pick up Lucy and Johnny in Barbados.

Lily teases me for keeping a blog, but oh well. What doesn't she give me a hard time about? If she didn't, she wouldn't be the Lily that I know and love.

I'm back. I get so frustrated nowadays. It seems that everyone in my family has more issues than a newspaper.

Meg has this "great" plan to foil Craig once and for all. She thinks that if she's able to finally get the company back, she can just drop Craig the next day and everything will go back to normal. And everyone who knows Craig Montgomery knows that there's no worse Craig than a Craig scorned. I just have this gut feeling that the only way this whole thing is going to end is on a bad note.

Then, there's Mama. She's hardly around anymore and I can't say I blame her. With my bum cousin Brad back in town, Carly fighting for her kids and Jack & Katie practically humping each other everywhere they go, I doubt that I'd be wanting to hang around much anymore. And then there's the situation with Meg. I don't think Mama wants to even realize what's going on. I think she wants so stay out of the loop, because if she knows, then that'll just make her that much more disappointed in Meg.

And lastly, there's Lily and Faith. Lily's been great. That stint in rehab did just the trick, but sometimes I think Lily's trying to right a wrong that can't be righted. She's trying to make up for what all she did with Lucinda and the company. She's trying to make it up to Faith that Faith feels the way she does because she saw Lily going through the same exact thing. I try and tell Faith that she's beautiful like she is, and I try to persuade Lily to not try so hard, so fast...but it's like they never hear me. I can say nothing to make them change their minds.

I just feel like I'm at the end of my rope. I just feel like I'm invisible half the time. And when I try and talk sense into Meg, it goes out one ear and out the other. When I try and talk to Lily and Faith, they accuse me of just saying what I'm saying because I'm their father or husband, and it's my supposed job to say what I usually tell them. And Jack...I haven't had that much time to talk to him lately, but I just get the feeling that he's using Katie to help hypnotize himself into believing that he's over Carly. But everyone in this town knows that the truth is...Jack never stopped and never will stop having feelings for Carly. I know. I've been where he is before. I've been in his shoes.

Well, at least I have Aaron. Sometimes, I'm thankful that he's off somewhere and not having to sit around Oakdale and deal with all the drama. I seriously don't think he could handle all of it..being back and all. It's just too much to ask of someone..for them to come home to a life they left behind, only to find that the way things were when they left has totally changed...most of the time, for the worse.

Well, I guess that's all. I have to to get ready. Faith and I are going to see a movie. I think it's a great idea for us to just get away for a while, just walk in with a big bag of popcorn and forget all the drama and all the turmoil that's going on before our very eyes back home.

    'Til next time,
    Holden

Okay. So Aunt Emma bought me this thing when I was like ten. Some crusty old notebook that she intended for me to use to "express my innermost thoughts and feelings". Chicks have diaries. But I guess men have journals. I don't know. I never understood that.

So enough about my dysfunctional family and my need to write in a journal. Here's my predicament.

Katie being the free spirit that she is has grown attached to my little brother, Jack. I can't help but feel pity for the poor girl. She got dumped by that Aussie (what's his name again? Sam?). Then she married Carly's ex-hunk 'o meat, Oakdale's resident carpenting guru, Mike Kasnoff. Both ended in disaster. And I'm not even bringing up that sham of a marriage to Henry. That dude's a few fries short of a happy meal. He's better off with that Vienna chick. Although, I do kinda wonder if he's man enough to handle her in the bedroom. She was quite the tigress with me.

Anyways, so Carly winds up gettin' all attached to the Aussie (maybe his name's Steve?). They both thought it'd be funny to rob the Prince of WhateverLand of his precious crown jewels. Turns out the man didn't like that too much. So Simon and Carly make a break for it. My idiot brother gets all soft and lets 'em go.

Only problem is...she left her kids. And I may not be the greatest guy in the world, but when my little niece Sage comes up and asks her Uncle Brad why her mom left..that's just not right.

Okay. So, get this. About a week ago, Carly pops up out of nowhere. Wants to see the kids. Jack isn't too thrilled with the idea. And I don't blame him.

However, I think we all know what this means. Let's face it. Jack and Carly are the next Ricky and Lucy, the next Fred and Wilma, the next Bo and Hope. (So what? I watch soaps. What's the big deal? My lunch break used to get kinda boring and the only thing ever on was Days Of Our Lives.)

So no doubt that Jack is gonna tuck his tail between his legs and let Carly woo him back into marriage. They're gonna be all happy again and everyone's gonna forget about her cross country road trip with that damn Aussie whose name I can't remember. And there's little old Katie. Convinced that she's gonna be the next Mrs. Jack Snyder.

Well, she's got another thing comin' to her. And what does she do when I try to bring her down a few notches back to reality? She accuses me of wanting to sabatoge that little thing that she's got goin' with my little brother.

Whatever. That little girl wouldn't know love if it fell on her front door step.

I tell ya one thing, though. After working with her on our show, I kinda see why men dig her so much. She might not be as smart as they come, but she's sure got the looks to make up for it! And if she's so deadset on joining the Snyder family, I'm pretty sure I could clear my schedule!!

    Dear Diary,

I'm writing this to you tonight from the couch. I'm staying the night at Will and Gwen's house again tonight. I have to get up early tomorrow and go to the Wagon Wheel. Maybe they'll let me have my old room back when I tell them that I have a job now and there will be no more interferences with my monthly payments.

I love this couch. It's not too soft, not too hard. Just the way I like it. I have a pillow covering up the stain on the couch from where I accidentally spilled some of the chocolate cake from earlier. I have to remember to clean that up tomorrow.

Well, tomorrow will be another eventful day in the life of Cleo Babbitt. I can't believe that Gwen got me a job at the Lakeview again! Maybe Lisa won't fire me this time. I certainly hope not. Gwen's so sweet and pretty and funny. I know I might kind of freak her out sometimes, but that's just me.

And Will....oh my gosh. I can't stop thinking about him. I have such a huge crush on him and I know it's wrong because he's married and happy with Gwen but I can't stop wondering what would happen if I had just gone along with Jade's plan. Maybe I could have perfected my Gwen-ness. Maybe Will wouldn't have noticed. I can't help but think of the way he would brush my hair out of my face every morning and whisper sweet nothings into my ear. But for now, I guess we just have to be friends.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm rambling again, aren't I? I hate when I ramble. I used to do that all the time in Turlock and people would think I was crazy because I would never be quiet and I was always saying stuff and they'd look at me funny and laugh but I didn't know I rambled like I do until Will and Gwen told me.

I'm sorry. I did it again.

But Diary, I just want Will all to myself. Is that really bad to ask? I like Gwen. She's very sweet, but I really think Will and I would have plenty of fun together. It would be incredible. We could go down to the bowling alley and he could watch me do my famous Cleo Babbitt Triple Ball Juggle Pin Strike. And he would love me.

Uh-oh. I have to go. I can hear Will moving around in the bed and I don't want to wake him. And besides, I have a very busy day tomorrow. I start work at the glamorous Lakeview tomorrow. I hope I do well and make Gwen and Will proud of me. I wish I didn't have to work so soon, but Gwen and Will said it would be best. And I trust them.

    Bye, diary!

    And now, the finale of...

    THE WORLD OF OAKDALE
    TWOO Opening

NOTE: This episode is extra long, but well worth it. Enjoy.
Barbara, Will, and Gwen arrive to the party. Barbara is irked to even be coming (because of Dana), but knows Grant through a former business venture. Will questions Gwen as to why she's been so pissy, and Gwen chuckles that it must be the harmones or something. Will places his hand on her stomach. "Just think, this baby will be such a blessing", he says. Gwen turns away and Will asks what's wrong. Gwen breaks down, saying that she's afraid she'll lose this baby, too. Will tells her to cheer up. It's obivous that God is giving them a second chance. Besides, she was young. She didn't know how to handle pregnancy the first time around. Gwen echoes that she still doesn't know how to handle pregnancy. Barbara overhears and vows to help Gwen. Gwen is taken back by Barbara's nurturing attitude. Will pays no attention to his mother, though, and assures Gwen that they'll learn how to handle it all. Together.

Maddie hugs Henry so tight that he begins squirming. "Okay, okay, I think I've gotten enough hugs to last me for a lifetime", he says. Maddie apologizes, saying that she's just so happy that he finally came to his senses about that walking piranha Katie. Henry takes offense and tells his sister that she needs to shut her mouth about Katie. He knows she's hurt alot of people, but he seems to be the only one that understands Katie's logic. Luke takes a break from the dance floor and asks Maddie to dance with him. On the dance floor, they bump into Gwen and Will. After the song, Gwen and Maddie take a seat and recall all the hard times they've faced in the past year. Jason's name comes up and Maddie notices Gwen tense up. Gwen tells Maddie to leave that particular issue in the past. Just as Will walks up, Maddie blurts out that she can't just leave it in the past. "Jason told me that the only reason that you guys split was because you stole all of his stuff, left a note apologizing for it, and then left without a sound. I want to know why you would do something like that", Maddie pleads. "Yeah. Tell us, Gwen", Will demands.

Simon continues to stalk Mike and Katie. He vows to find Katie and explain the whole mess with Pilar. He never intended for it to go that far, he says. He never meant to hurt Katie or Mike and he's been going crazy over it for the past year and a half or so. Jack comes out of the party and notices a man fleeing around the corner of the building. Jack calls in to security and says that it looks suspicious and for their guys to take a look at it. Once he goes back inside, Simon returns and stares at Katie dancing with Mike through the window. Katie catches a glance of him, deafly mutters "Simon"?, and then faints.

Out beside the elevators, Kim demands to know Chris tell them what happened at Windy Falls. Chris tries lunging for Ben, but Bob holds him back, demanding for his son to get under control. Through tears, Chris tells them that he did a horrible thing. When he first got the job, every thing was going great. He was happy with his job and glad to get away from all the drama back home. Soon, he met an old woman named "Mrs. Adams". She had an incurable cancer that stemmed from her legs and soon, took control over her whole body. Though bed ridden and endlessly exhausted, Mrs. Adams had this love for life, this inner strength that kept her going. She had a humor like no other, but he could tell that she was crippled emotionally. Her family was non-existent. Her son died in Iraq and her daughter died in a car accident at the age of 16. She was old and frail and pretty soon, her love for life started to diminish. Ben, Bob, Kim, and Nancy all look on as an emotionally distraught Chris tries to finish the rest of the story. He says that one day, he walked in and she wasn't in her bed. She was on the ledge of the hospital. Chris drug her back in, but for a week straight, she kept crawling out on the ledge. Chris finally stayed with her one night to ensure that she wouldn't crawl out again. In the middle of the night, Mrs. Adams called his attention. She tearfully begged him to let her go. Let her die. She begged him to let her go and be with her son and daughter. Let her live by dying. Chris screams with tears, "So I did it! I did it! I pulled the plug. I lied to my superiors. I watched her as she struggled for breath!! And........I......I wanted her to LIVE!! I wanted her to quit suffering!! Oohhh.....ooohhh!! What did I do??!!!" Everyone is either near tears or wiping them away. Chris turns and sees Nancy look at him with emotion pouring from her face. "Grandma, I never...", he cries. "Don't touch me!", Nancy barks. As Kim goes off to comfort a noticeably torn Nancy, Ben and Bob take turns comforting Chris.

Lily grabs a glass of soda from the bar and starts to head back to her seat. She's cut off by Craig. "Have you accepted my offer? Or am I going to need to tell Holden everything?", Craig says with a smirk. Lily asks Craig why is he doing this. Why is he treating her like he treats everyone else. She says that she seemed to be the only one in her family that didn't have a persistent hatred for him. She was there for him. He was there for her. What changed? Craig insists that he's just doing what's best for Worldwide. Lily asks if Craig thinks that he's what's best for Worldwide. Crag thinks he is, but Lily changes the subject, saying that she's already told Holden. Craig laughs and says she's just bluffing. Holden walks up and Craig invites him to join them. "Has your wife told you that she has something to tell you yet?", Craig asks Holden, all the while locking eyes with a panicked Lily. "No. What do you have to tell me?", Holden asks.

Lucinda overhears the commotion and decides now is the best time to confront Craig. Lucinda steps up and knocks Craig a big one. She questions his sanity, thinking that he can just come in and take her company. "How dare you?" she bellows. Craig looks at Lily and tells her that she's bitten off more than she can chew. Lily's forced to just stand by as Craig tells Holden that one night, on his way home, he went by the Wagon Wheel. He wanted to check up on Katie and Mike was his only way to find out, since he didn't want to confuse Katie and Lyla seemed to be tied up with Katie and he didn't want to bother her. Holden demands Craig go ahead and cut to the chase. Holden stands horrified, shocked, disgusted as Craig informs him that when he peeked inside the room...whom did he see? But Lily and Mike locking lips. Holden starts to leap for Craig, but Lily holds him back. "Honey, don't. It's all true. I kissed Mike", Lily cries. Craig looks on with a wicked gleam in his eye.

Margo and Tom arrive and inform Lisa that Casey is doing fine. They finally found out that he had pneumonia and some virus but they were able to treat it. Lisa is ecstatic as Tom tells her that Casey should be coming home in a few weeks with Adam and Abigail. Margo left something in the car and goes outside to get it. To her surprise, the mystery woman approaches her. "Leah!!", she chuckles. "I have not seen you in ages! What brings you to Oakdale?" Margo listens intently as Leah explains that she needs her help. Her husband Edward was involved in an illegal gambling ring. When she tried to intervene, Edward's debtors came calling and killed him in cold blood. She weeps that she doesn't remember a thing except for them coming in and telling her that if she didn't stay out of it, she'd be next. The next thing she remembers is when she woke up and she was lying next to a dead Edward with a gun in her hand. A tearful Leah begs Margo to help her. As Margo takes her old friends into her arms, Leah crumbles.

Back inside, Mike is finally able to wake Katie up without causing a scene. Katie says that she saw Simon and Mike fears that her memory troubles are returning. Katie pleads with Mike to listen to her. She wasn't dreaming. She knows what she saw. Simon is back.

Andy and Emily try to enjoy a nice, romantic night at home but their electricity goes out, promopting them to go to the party and have some fun while the wait for the lights to come back on. Emily is less than happy to see most of her enemies there. Lisa, Roxie, Barbara... Andy encourages her to just relax and have a good time. Emily tells Andy that as long as she gets to spend the rest of her life with him, she'll have plenty of good times. Emily notices Andy's eyes wander towards John and Roxe in the corner in a heated argument. Emily turns Andy's face back towards her and tells him not to even think about it. Whatever scheme those two are plotting, Andy and Emily will back it through. Andy can't help but think that he had finally gotten through to her about John.

Roxie corners John. "What did you mean by that Roxie?" he insists. "You know exactly what I'm talking about, Doc." Roxie turns to leave. "Just as I thought! Another one of your bluffs. After all this time you still don't know how to play with the big boys." John says very smugly. Furious, Roxie whirls back around and comes face to face with John. "Edith Gardner. Does that name mean anything to you, John?" Roxie says. John looks very worried at first. Then, he just tries to play it off. Roxie smirks at being able to make John sweat. "I like you like this. All ancey. On the edge of your seat. It kind of turns me on", Roxie teases. "Why are you doing this? Don't you have anything better to do? Like screwing Chris Hughes?", John retorts.

Roxie starts to slap John but retsrains herself. "I'm just trying to return the favor", Roxie says as she playfully fiddles with John's tie. "Are you still mad because I didn't help you extract revenge on Barbara and Gwen?", John questions. Roxie pays him no mind as she continues talking. "Johnny boy, I don't wanta even flatter you by telling you that I spent an hour of my precious time sweeping the internet to get the dish on ya. You see...I know something about you. Could blow you outh of the water. BUT!...I'm not hasty like some."

John wonders aloud, "What do you want?" Roxie replies with such delight that she's shaken Dr. Dixon to his very core. "Funny you should ask. I didn't think you'd care. Well...let me just put it out there for ya...Roxie needs some brand new duds and you're going to help her get them. And if not, I'll be sure you wish you never returned to this God forsaken town to begin with. Got it?" Roxie smiles as she walks off, leaving an anxious John behind.

Kim finally coaxes Nancy into riding home with her. The two ladies leave.

Everyone, minus a few, watches as Lisa whole-heartedly sings "Happy Birthday".

A seven foot high cake comes rolling out.

Laughter erupts throughout the room as Grant blushes.

All the laughter and singing is soon cut short, though, when Dana pops out of the cake with a gun in hand!

Milly, Grant, Lisa, and Emma tremble in fear. Screams abound and people fall to the floor, ducking the bullets that might fly. Milly stands up and asks her daughter what the hell she's doing. Dana replies that she's doing something nobody else in this town seemed to have the balls to do. Dana takes aim at Lisa, Emma, and Grant. It's obvious Dana is not in her right mind. She steps off the platform that the cake was on. Dana commands her father's attention and tells him that she knew what was going on all along. A very bothered Grant asks Dana to put the gun down. Instead, Dana waves the gun in front on Grant's forehead.

Just then, Milly crawls over and grabs her purse. She looks inside, but no gun is in there. "She has my gun!", Milly thinks to herself. Emma notices Milly freaking out and looks over in her purse and sees her pistol is still in there. She truthfully recalls putting it in there as a means of protection and because she really did kill a snake with it the other day.

Dana asks them all to join her on stage. Lisa, Emma, Milly, and Grant all fearfully climb on stage as Dana paces in front of them. Quite chatter flows through the room as hotel security flood the now-padlocked room. Dana chuckles that she's glad she had a chance to lock the doors in case anybody tried doing anything stupid like calling the cops. She hollers for the audience to shut up!

Grant pleads with his daughter to just put the gun down and let Daddy take care of everything. Dana snarls that Grant is the whole reason she's doing this. She dangles her gun in front of Lisa and Emma. "I figured one of them would have knocked you off by now, but I guess they were too 'hypnotized by your charm'!" Emma keeps looking inside of her purse.

Dana asks if they all want to know what this is about. Some wise guy pipes up for the pscyho to just them all go. Dana, infuriated, turns and shoots him in the leg. Howls erupt from the man and sreams from the audience. As people scramble to further themselves from the stage, Dana taunts Milly, Grant, Lisa, and Emma. Dana notices Gwen and Barbara in the audience and asks them to join her on stage. The two women have no choice but to oblige.

Emma asks Dana to talk to her. Tell her what's going on. Dana slaps Emma and tells her not to talk to her like some psychologically demented witch. Dana recalls how Milly booted her and Grant out of the house because Grant quit paying her hush money. "Alimony my ass", she laughs. Dana looks at Barbara and Gwen and says "1997. Baltiomore. You wanta know why I was so intent on that file? Because it had the name of the whore model that my father had sex with! At that very same fashion show."

"All my life, my parents were madly in love. But then when I was only 14, they divorced. I had no clue why. They were so in love. Weren't you?" Dana says as she aims her gun towards her parents. "But in 1997, my parents decided to go to a fashion show. While Daddy went backstage to talk with Barbara, he decided to drop by and see his favorite model of the night. Alexandra Bridges. Wasn't that her name, Daddy? But something went wrong. Didn't it? Answer me!! Didn't something go wrong?!?!"

Grant slightly mutters a yes. "Yeah, thats right" Dana says. Alexandra found out that she was playing midnight footsies with the governor of Indiana and threatened to expose his cheating ways if he didn't fork over some cash. So what did the coward do? He killed her!! And then dumped the body into the river. But it doesn't stop there, does it?!"

"Daddy decided that he should cover it up. Who does he pick to help him? HIS WIFE!! My mother!! And people wonder why she's crazy today!" Dana muttered. "Hey! I resent that stateme..", Milly attempted to say. "Quiet, mother!" Dana ordered. "It's because of you, Daddy, that Mother went to the psych ward. She was so tormented and scarred by what you put her through. And then you expect for her to just go back to loving you?? No. It's not like that. It's also because you felt the walls closing in. That's why you moved here. You didn't just want to help Carly and Jack get Emma's farm back. You ruined one happy home...ours....so you decided to see how many you could manage to obliterate in Oakdale!!"

As Dana talks, Lisa and Emma formulate a plan. Emma catches Jack's attention and hands the gun to Lisa, who hands it down to Jessica, who hands it to Maddie, who hands it to Mike, who hands it to Jack. Jack stands up and Dana turns her attention to him. She's shocked when she sees Jack has a gun and points the gun towards Grant. "Looks like we're both going down", Dana says. "I loved you Daddy. I really did". And with that, two shots are fired into Grant's chest. Almost in the middle of the second shot, Jack shoots Dana.

As the two bloody corpses fall on the stage, screams and cries echo through the room.

Fade out on that scene and move through the Hughes home.

A picture of Jeff and Penny stands upright on the mantle. A picture of Ryder stands on the coffee table. Pictures seem to be everywhere. The camera goes to the couch where a box full of picture lies. Each picture chronicles a time in Oakdale history. Damian, Jennifer and Barbara, Hal, Betsy, Aaron and Alison, Frannie and Sabrina, Conner Walsh, Cal, the pictures never end.

As the camera pans up the stairs and into Nancy's room....we see Nancy lying in bed. We can hear Kim talking to someone about all the chaos at the party. Kim asks if everyone is okay. Nancy grabs a photo from her nightstand. It's an old photo of Chris, her husband. As she cries, she holds the photo to her chest.

(In a scene remembrant of the first scene on ATWT....)

"Goodnight dear", Nancy says as she drifts off into a peaceful slumber.

    Fade out.

    TWOO Opening

    Grant's party continues.

Lisa finds Emma and asks to borrow her lipstick. Lisa walks towards Emma's purse as the camera zeroes in on a gun inside the purse! Lisa gasps when she sees the gun and asks Emma what she's doing. Emma chuckles, saying that she left it in there after killing a rattlesnake out by the pond the other day. Lisa exuses herself when she sees Roxie and Chris gathered. Emma grabs her purse and shoves the gun deeper inside of her purse. Cryptically, she says that if the need arises, she has what she needs.

Chris goes up to Roxie and is surprised to see his Aunt Lisa soon join them. Lisa tells them that she knows what they're both up to and as long as she's breathing, she won't ever approve of their relationship. After Lisa walks off, Roxie scoffs at her attempt to try and make her and Chris not see each other. Chris tells her that he thinks it's for the best. He explains that he did something so horrible, so terrible...and he'll never be able to recover. Roxie wants to ask more, but grows furious when she sees John enter. John saunters away when he spots Rxie approaching, but Roxie cuts him off and with an evil smirk, tells him "Now, now there, John. Whatcha running for? Afraid I'll find out that maybe 'Johnny Boy' hasn't been such a good boy after all?" End on John's panicked face.

Lily arrives and finds Jack by the bar. She asks if he's seen Holden and he replies that Holden went outside on the terrace for some fresh air. Lily finds Holden outside and begs him to quit chasing Craig. Holden goes into a spill about how much pain and devestation Craig brings wherever he goes and tells Lily that it has to stop. Lily agrees and inside, knows what she has to do.

Ben and Jessica enter. Jessica gets a call from Margo and runs outside to take it. We see Margo on an airplane with Tom. Jessica agrees to come pick them up. Meanwhile, Ben finds Bob and tries to beat around the bush, asking if he's told Kim yet or confronted Chris. Bob says that he has and says that Kim did not take it well at first, but she's coming around. He tells Ben that he plans to address Chris about it all later. Chris walks up behind them and asks what the hell they think they're doing..talking about him as if he's not even there.

As we see Tom and Margo getting in the car with Jessica and thanking her for the ride, a mysterious woman looks on.

    ------COMMERCIAL------

Maddie and Luke arrive at the party. Luke thanks her for accepting his invitation and pledges to keep it cool tonight. No fits. No fights. Maddie turns around when she hears a familiar voice and is shocked to see Henry at the bar getting drunk off of martinis. Maddie can't believe her big brother is back so soon! Henry drunkenly babbles that he had no place to go so he just stayed a few nights in Chicago. Maddie still can't believe her eyes and leaps for joy that her brother is back in Oakdale where he belongs.

Bob, Ben, and Chris all seemed to have moved outside towards the elevators. Kim punches the button "7" and ding after ding of each floor, she hears an argument getting louder and closer, louder and closer. Kim steps off the elevator and sees the three men arguing louder than ever. Not knowing what they're arguing about but hasty to confront her son, Kim barges her way into the center of the three and orders them all to just shut up. As Nancy looks on, Kim asks her son what he has become. "Do I even know you anymore?" she emotionally shrieks. Bob tries to hold her back. Kim can see the emotion, the sorrow filling Chris's eyes with tears and demands to know what happened at Windy Falls!

Katie and Mike return to Oakdale and though they had initally refused the idea, decide to go to Grant's party. Everyone congratulates the newlyweds as they enter the party. Mike locks eyes with Lily as he flashes back to their kiss at the Wagon Wheel. Lily comes up and asks to borrow Mike for a moment. Once they're alone in the storage room, Mike tells her that he's very sorry about their kiss. Lily says she knows and that she knows they said they'd remain friends. However, Craig knows. Mike is horrified and wants to know how Craig knows. Lily says that she doesn't know, but she plans on telling Holden so he needs to tell Katie. Astonished, Lily listens as Mike tells her that he's already told Katie. He tells of how they made a pact to never keep a secret from one another as long as they both shall live. Lily immediately feels horrible, since she's still struggling with how she'll tell Holden.

Milly goes outside for some fresh air and hears a ruffle in the bushes. This face appears. "Well hello, young man. You sure are quite a looker. Lovely night, isn't it?", Milly flirtaciously smirks. The man walks away and Milly just stands there, saying she never was that attracted to foreigners anyway. As she looks inside her purse, she sees the gun. She turns her head to make sure nobody is coming or looking and pulls it out. "Tonight all my troubles will finally be over", she says as she lets out a psychotic cackle.

    ------COMMERCIAL------

Lisa happens upon Dana in the ladies room. Lisa applauds Dana for a job well done and asks what she got her father for his birthday. Dana exictedly informs Lisa that her father is going to be so surprised when he sees his present! Lisa asks what it is again, but Dana runs off, leaving Lisa baffled.

Gwen and Will find themselves stuck at the B.R.O. offices. Gwen, who locked her keys in the car, goes to call a cab but the operator tells her that all of the cabs are booked for a big party up town. Gwen shouts at the operator that the party is where they're going. Angrily she hangs up and is even more frustrated when she sees Barbara pull up.

    ------COMMERCIAL------

Barbara offers Will and Gwen a lift. Though both initially refuse it, they decide that they'd much rather be at a party than stuck in a parking lot.

Grant arrives and everyone wishes him a happy birthday. He promises everyone a good time and the band starts to play. Lily gets on stage and sings.

As Lily sings, the scene switches to a dark room. A white glove delicately caresses the barrel of a small hand gun.

    Fade out.

    And don't miss tomorrow....

    THE WORLD OF OAKDALE
    TWOO Opening

It's the day of Grant's birthday bash and everyone pours into the Lakeview's seventh floor party hall.

Dana is dressed to perfection with a blue dress. She spots Milly in a black business suit and scolds her mother for not coming festive like they had agreed. Milly tells her daughter to buzz off.

Milly walks by Jack as he holds a conversation with Holden. Holden confesses Lily's been nervous acting ever since Craig stalked him back to the house last night. Jack asks what Holden plans on doing and Holden says that after Craig left last night, Lily just went upstairs to bed. When he woke up this morning, she was gone.

Meanwhile, Lily sits at her desk at Worldwide. As she stares at a picture of herself and Holden, Craig's words vibrate through her head. "You weren't so 'behind' your husband the night you were busy locking lips and God knows what else with Mike Kasnoff". Though not that threatened by his blackmailing ways (she knew he hadn't changed any), she does wonder how Craig knew. Craig appears and apologizes to Lily for last night. Lily's disgusted at just the thought of being in the same room with him and politely asks him to leave her alone. Craig refuses, ordering her to hear him out and adhere to his demands or he'll blow her precious love affair with Mike Kasnoff out into the open waters. Craig tells her that if she doesn't want to be exposed, she'll convince Lucinda and Holden to sell him their stock and convince Lucinda to give him the company. Lily tells him that such a feat's impossible. Craig sticks by his words and tells her that if she decides otherwise, then he'll decide otherwise against keeping her secret. Soon, Lucinda arrives and Craig high tails it before she can say anything. Lucinda asks what that was all about, but Lily tells her to leave it alone. They have a party to go to.

Roxie arrives with Lisa and the two can't believe the work that Dana has done. It looks spectacular. Lisa goes up to Dana and asks Dana if she would be interested in re-decorating the Lakeview rooms. Dana is flattered, but tells Lisa that she's leaving town tonight after the party. As Dana and Lisa talk, Roxie gets a call from Chris. He apologizes for acting like such an ass yesterday. He explains that he hasn't felt like himself in quite a long time and asks what her plans are for the day and later that night. Roxie invites Chris to the party and is even more surprised when he actually walks up right behind her.

Emma arrives and finds Dana. She notices Dana's rather on edge and assumes that she's nervous about the party. Milly comes up to them and strikes small talk with Emma, glad to finally meet the woman who was ever-so-close from making the mistake of giving her heart to Grant. Dana excuses her mother's rudeness. Milly walks away. Later, Lisa finds Emma and asks to borrow her lipstick. Lisa walks towards Emma's purse as the camera zeroes in on a gun inside the purse!

    THE WORLD OF OAKDALE
    TWOO Opening

Maddie is excited that Gwen is pregnant, but wonders how. Gwen talks of the treatment she has been doing since her fall. Maddie is ecstatic and later joins Luke at Java to tell him the good news. Luke gets upset when Maddie reminds him of his recent stunts and takes off. Later, Emma gets a visit from Emma. Lisa listens as Emma gives Luke advice, saying that when Luke is able to forgive himself, then others will be able to forgive him as well.

Lisa excuses herself and goes to find Roxie. She's surprised to find Roxie at the suite. Roxie tells Lisa that she hopes to see her at the party tomorrow night. Lisa tells her she'll be there with bells on and Grant following right behind her, she's sure. Roxie leaves. Soon after, Lisa gets a call from Dana reminding her what time to be there.

As we see Dana get off the phone with Lisa, we see Milly in th background. Dana says she didn't expect Milly to be up and about so soon. She really made a show the other day. Milly fires back for Dana to mind her own business. She claims that with a child like her and an ex-husband like Grant, she'd like to meet a woman in this world that wouldn't lose her mind. As Dana exits the room to get ready for the party, Milly grabs her purse. After reading a label that says "Take one twice daily", she take three. As she puts the pills back in her purse, she softly runs her hands over a gun.

Chris notices the akwardness in the house and addresses it. Kim emotionally tells Chris that they're just tired from the wedding. And now, they have a birthday party for Grant to go to. Bob comes down and tells Chris that if he ever needs anything, to just let him know. They can all handle it together. Chris can't handle the tension in the air anymore and bolts. Later, he meets up with Roxie. Roxie asks what Chris wanted when he called her and he tells her that he wants what every man in America wants. Great sex. Roxie asks Chris if he really has feelings for her or if he's just anxious to get laid. Chris replies the latter. Roxie slaps him a good one and vows never to see him again. Later, though, Roxie fantasizes about Chris following her into Al's Diner and angrily throwing her up against the counter and passionately ripping off all her clothes. As they clear off the ice cream bar for a place to have wild, raunchy sex...Roxie is jolted out of her fantasy by her cell ringing. Lisa tells her that her assistant dropped out of the party at the last minute and she needs Roxie to fill in. Roxie agrees.

Holden finally tracks Craig down at the Worldwide offices. Holden furiously shouts that Craig has no ethics and if anyone should be half owner of the company, it's Lily. Holden accuses Craig of taking advantage of Lily. Craig denies no such thing and taunts Holden about being half owner of the company. He asks if Holden likes his job and tells him that if he keeps acting this way, he'll find himself back at the old raggly Snyder barn milking a goat. Holden lunges for Craig and Craig punches him. Holden knocks Craig to the ground and severely lays it down on him. Later, Lily is horrified when Holden returns all bloody and promises that Craig won't be half owner of Worldwide much longer. As Holden goes upstairs, Craig comes in and tells Lily that Holden attacked him. Lily tells Craig that no matter what he says, she's sticking by her husband. Craig taunts her saying that she wasn't that "behind her husband" when she kissed Mike. Lily stands horrified that Craig knows. She also wonders how he knows, but her wonder is cut short with rage. Angrily, she yells for Craig to get out!
