NOTE: The roles of Sage Snyder, Faith Snyder, Parker Munson, Natalie Snyder, Daniel Hughes, and J.J. Larrabee have NOT been SORAS'd, depsite ATWT's recent SORASing of the aforementioned characters.

Faith just stands there with the widest eyes. She asks why Mommy was in the shower with Daddy. Holden replies with some story about how Mommy was getting out at the same time he was getting in. Lily takes Faith into the living room and Faith asks why Luke has been so upset. She says that she heard him making some weird sound like he was angry the other night and then he just started banging around in his room. The babysitter comes to pick up Faith and Natalie and Holden tells Lily that she's probably about to be really bitter with him. He reveals that the other night, he raised his hand to Luke. He tells her that he realizes he shouldn't have, but Luke was acting so out of line and Holden's stress level combined with Luke's disprespect..it all just made him lose his cool. He's surprised, though, when Lily supports Holden and shares the same sentiment that Luke has been acting really harshly lately. They both agree that they need to talk to Luke as soon as possible about his recent behavior.

Luke arrives at Will and Gwen's. Gwen welcomes Luke in. Will has gone out, but should be back in shortly. Luke asks if they have seen Maddie. Gwen says that she hasn't seen her since she left earlier this morning. Luke feels guilty about the other night...so much that he tells Gwen about it. Gwen acts surprised and asks Luke what his problem has been lately. Luke just says that he doesn't know what she's talking about. Just then...Maddie and Will enter. Will sits Luke down and says that they have known each other since they were kids. He asks if Luke trusts him. Luke replies positively and Will goes on that the other night with Maddie, Luke's behavior when Heath was in town, his out-of-this-world mood swings....he tells Luke that all signs point to bipolar disorder. Luke grows furious and yells that he has no problem! Without words, he storms out, leaving Gwen, Maddie, and Will to wonder what their next step should be.

Rico tells Craig to drive now or he'll never see the sunshine again. Craig asks Rico who he is and Rico is more than happy to answer. Rico replies that he is Ruby's beloved boyfriend and he's here to seek revenge for her death. Craig had no idea she died and Rico tells him that if it hadn't've been for Craig's meddling and getting her to come to town, she would have never scurried out of town so fast and been involved in the bus crash that killed her. Craig tries to talk Rico into just letting him go, but Rico doesn't give into Craig's words. Instead, he yanks the rope around Craig's neck even tighter. He reverses hard and crashes into another car in the parking lot. The jolt from it all gives Craig the upper hand and he pins Rico the the pavement outside, before unleashing a gruesome beating on him. Margo and Lyla enter the parking lotand are shocked by what they see. Both of them rush to Craig, ordering him to stop!

Emily calls the Hughes residence and Chris replies that he hasn't seen Andy. Emily then goes by Andy's apartment and he isn't there either. Emily wonders where he is and finally gives up her search, returning to the office. When she returns, she's horrified to see Andy standing in the midst of the ripped up edition of The Intruder. Emily automatically accuses Andy of doing it. Andy replies that everything was just this way when he returned to apologize to Emily. The janitor comes by and tells Emily that she had a blonde-haired visior earlier. He told her that Emily was gone, but she insisted on going in the office and "leaving her a note". Then, it dawns on them both and they immediately know exactly who it was that did this...Roxie!

Chris is startled when he notices Bob and Kim walk in the door. He puts what he was working on away and addresses the recent tension between the family and himself. Bob replies that there is none and that nothing Chris could do would ever make him turn his back or look shamefully on his own son. Chris replies that they have no idea what he has been through. While Chris goes out for a smoke (a habit he recently picked up), Kim comes back down and sees Chris's laptop. After a debate with Bob on whether or not to open it and see what Chris was doing, they finally do. When they do, they're shocked and confused. Chris has been reading an article on the arrest of Dr. Rick Decker.

The World Of Oakdale: Weekend Roundup

    RUMOR MILL/CASTING NEWS/ETC.

Despite Mark Collier's departure from the show, the actor has signed a brief extension contract with the show, leaving "Mike" in Oakdale until late February. Also, could a leading lady be leaving with him? Stay tuned.

Though Kathleen Widdoes has indeed been frontburner since the current headwrite began his reign, sources say that the actress has been given a break.

The show has finally founnd someone to take over the role of Grant's ex-wife and Dana's mother, Millicent. Look for an official announcement sometime next week.

It is rumored that Alexandra Chando was recently spotted at a fan event and when asked about her status with the show, she had no comment. Could this mean that Chando couldn't handle being on recurring status and has left the show?

Backstage gossip says that one leading man is looking to retire soon and has already quit. However, due to an exciting storyline that is expected to really take off for February Sweeps, execs are keeping their mouths shut, worried that saying anything will spoil the storyline.

The show is looking to bring back a short-term character from last year on a long-term basis.

Holden returns home to find that Lily has not only cooked supper, but has totally cleaned up the house. Holden, who's had quite a tiring day at work, goes to take a shower and is overjoyed when Lily decides to take one with him. Holden applauds Lily for putting all her feelings aside about his new job and he thanks Lily for being the mother of his children and his best friend. The couple passionately ambraces, as they make love. Later, they're startled to open the shower door and find little Faith staring at them with wide eyes.

Craig arrives at the hospital to check up on Katie. Margo asks Craig about some rumors she has been hearing regarding someone following him. Lyla overhears and panics, telling Craig he needs to leave Oakdale and don't look back if someone is trying to hurt him...or worse, his family. Craig nervously assures Margo and Lyla that he'll be alright. Later, Craig walks out to his car (all the while cursing Lucinda for opening her "big yapper") and as Craig gets in his car, Rico raises up from the backseat, holding a rope around Craig's neck and ordering him to drive....now!

Dana runs over to the Snyder farm and is relieved to find Emma's car in the drive. Dana asks to speak with Emma about her relationship with Grant. However, Jack arrives and when Emma introduces Dana to Jack, Dana gets spooked and excuses herself. Jack laments to Emma that with Carly gone, he has his hands full dealing with the kids. J.J. is failing Math in middle school, Parker just got in another fight, and Sage is starting to get to the "all questions" age. Emma laughs at Jack's honest attempt to be a good father, and promises to try her best in helping her nephew with the kids.

"How could you?!", Andy exclaims. Emily declares that it's too late to try and come up with something new for the cover story as she's about to go to press with it any hour now. Andy tells Emily that until she grows up, he'll be at his apartment. Andy leaves. Emily thinks he's breaking up with her again and in pure fright that she's losing Andy again, she runs out after him. Roxie arrives at the office, hoping to either sweet talk or scare Emily out of printing the magazine. She walks in and is startled to see the cover. As she reads each page of the cover story, she gets even more furious. Vowing that Emily will pay, Roxie rips up the only edition of The Intruder.
  6. Actor87
Emma meets up with Lily and hears Lily say that Carly has left for Switzerland to be with Rosanna, who has just awoken. Emma wonders what all this could mean for Craig if Rosanna returns to town. Lily then takes the time to fill Emma in on her recent dilemma with Holden/Lucinda/Worldwide. Emma calms Lily's inhibitions and gets a call from Grant. She ignores it, but later, we see it was Dana calling Emma.

Dana turns to see Lisa strut into the Lakeview. Lisa spots her, too, and warns Dana that she better not be here to start any trouble. Dana assures her she's not and asks for a minute of her time. Lisa agrees, and is confused when Dana asks about her romantic relationship with Grant. Lisa enlightens her that it was nothing more than a manipulative attempt (by her father) to catch Emma's attention. Dana's curiousity is peaked and Lisa excuses herself. Dana calls Emma, but gets Emma's voice mail. "Hi. This is Emma. I'm probably out doing some chores and what not around the farm and can't quite answer my phone. So leave a message and I'll get back to you, my dear." Dana hangs up and ponders a bit.

Katie, Mike, and Henry go to the hospital and learn from Ben that Katie's brain is under alot of stress and orders Katie to stay the night and "rest her thoughts". Once a nurse comes to take Katie to a room, Ben lectures the two men on trying to make Katie remember. If Katie remembers, she does it on her own terms and her own time. Later, Katie sees a familiar wing of the hospital and recalls fainting after seeing someone's finger dangling from their hand, but again, she can't make out the face.

Will enlightens Gwen and Maddie that he believes Luke is bipolar. Will goes on, saying that a man he befriended during his time at the mental institution was a bipolar (among many other things) and that's how he recognized Luke's symptoms that Maddie seemed to be detailing accurately. Gwen urges Maddie to get Luke and talk him into paying Dr. Michaels a visit. Maddie reluctantly agress, but Will steps in and assures Maddie that she doesn't have to do it. He'll do it.
  7. Actor87
Maddie explains that Luke just hasn't been the same ever since he was kidnapped that time in Mexico. She tells of his constant temper tantrums, mood swings, and violent outbursts. Will becomes noticeably distracted and leaves the room. Maddie takes the opportunity to confront Gwen about what Jason said about her. Gwen grows cold and lies, saying she doesn't even know Jason Summers. Will returns with some stuff that he printed off the internet. He tells the girls that he might have just found out what Luke's deal is.

Katie returns home to find Henry scouring the house for Snickers. It seems that when Henry let him out to "exercise", he went all the way and just lept out of his cage. Henry is startled when Katie recoginizes Snickers, but mistakes Henry for Mike as being the one who found FauxSnickers. Henry tries to set her straight, but Katie ultimately gets a headache and lies down for a bit. Mike walks in with Snickers in tow just as Katie starts to go lay down. The very sight gives Katie's brain an overload as she collapses to the ground in pain and tears.

John arrives at Java to find Andy there as well. Andy explains that he's about to go take Emily some coffee, since she's been working non-stop on the new issue of The Intruder. Andy voices his difficulty in deciding whether or not to follow through with pressing charges against Roxie and..well, their own father. Margo advises Andy to do what he feels is right and either way, she won't hold it against him.

Chris arrives in the E.R. to find Bob having a chat with Ben. As he overhears the two men talking, they notice him, too. Bob asks his son to what pleasure do they owe him for his visit, but Bob soon gets paged and has to run. Chris takes this as the perfect time to confront Ben about going behind his back regarding his dismissal at Windy Falls Hospital. Ben retorts that he did exactly what was necessary to calm his father's fears. Chris fires back that it's his own judgement that decides what is right for his father to know or not to know. Ben is shaken by Chris's outburst and excuses himself. Alone, Ben wonders what could be the reason behind Chris's recent behavior and his departure from Windy Falls. He vows to get to the bottom of it, whether Chris likes it or not.

Emma meets Lisa at the Lakeview, just like she requested. Lisa approaches and tells Emma that she can't stay long since her granddaughter was arrested last night and she has to go post bail. Emma tells Lisa of Gran't latest actions and Lisa concludes that they have to come up with a plan to get Grant out of their hair. Lisa promises to be in touch and leaves. Outside, she runs into Chris who is clearly upset about something. Chris seems fidgety and overly aggressive, which Lisa takes as a sign and she leaves.

Lisa arrives at the police station and learns that Roxie has been not only sabatagoing Andy and Emily's romance, but has been sleeping with Lisa'a ex-fiancee. Lisa is appalled and tells Roxie that since she got herself in this mess, she can get herself out. Roxie appeals to Lisa in a way she knows Lisa will understand, saying that she wants to get out so she can make amends for all her past misdeeds and also mutters the fact that she and Lisa have spent so much time apart for all their lives. Lisa finally gives in, telling Roxie that this is the last time she'll ever help her get out of jail or anything else.

Margo arrives home from the station to find Katie lounging on her couch. Katie says that Tom mentioned something about picking up Daniel and Margo wonders what Katie's doing at her house. Katie explains that she needs Margo's help in convincing Lyla that she's happily in love with Henry and not in love with Mike anymore. Margo says that she'll talk with Lyla and ushers Katie out so she can get some rest. Outside, Katie stands and admires the snow. She has a vision of her making snow angels with someone, but she can't make out who it is.

Maddie rushes to Will and Gwen's house and Gwen can tell something is bothering her. Maddie asks for a place to stay for the night since Henry is now temporarily living with Katie and the couple agrees, as long as Maddie tells them what's bothering her. Trough tears, Maddie tells the story of how Luke kept forcing himself on her. When it looked as though he might go all the way, Luke just stopped, slammed his hand against the dresser, put on his clothes, and hurried out the door. Maddie confides in Gwen that she's afraid Luke might be losing it.
  9. Actor87
Could there be trouble ahead for troublesome Luke Snyder and ever-so-innocent Maddie Coleman? Insiders are hinting that the current story the powers that be are mapping out is their exit story. Both Van Hansis and Alexandra Chando, who head up one half of Oakdale's teen scene, are fan favorites both on The World of Oakdale and As The World Turns. So it comes as a shock that both actors would be written off. When asked of the rumors, Executive Producer/Headwriter Dusty Alford has this to say. "We don't comment on rumors, but I can say that both Van and Alex have been officially put on recurring status with the show". And what about that episode that aired last Friday? It featured a clearly upset Luke forcing himself on Maddie. "I won't say much, but I will say that this is not going to go the way I had intentionally planned for it to go" Hmm...very cryptic, indeed.

Elsewhere, trouble is ahead for Will and Gwen as Iris Dombrowski makes her return this week after the couple runs into her at Java. "She's shocked to learn that the two teens got married and Will's shocked that she got out of the slammer so fast," says Iris's portrayer Terri Garber. Iris was last seen ducking into a police car door when she and her boyfriend Stan were aprehended after trying to frame Will for Iris's poisoning, which she did all on her own. So, what can we expect this time around? "I'm not saying much, because I haven't gotten any more scripts, but I will tell you this..." says Garber. "This new Dana girl that Gwen has been fighting off is going to have an unlikely ally in Iris." Doesn't sound like "Gwennie" is going to be too happy with dear old mom.

    Spoilers for the coming weeks:
The ultimate showdown occurs this week when Lucinda, Craig, and Rico all face off.
Katie begins having memories of Mike.
Lily and Holden clash over a new business venture.
Dana and Gwen get in over their heads at work.
    Chris confronts Ben.
Emma and Lisa make a plan to get Grant out of their hair.
Andy has second thoughts about pressing charges.
Luke and Holden make an agreement.
    Maddie confides in Margo.

Grant comes over to Emma's and finds that she has put a security system on the house. Grant asks to borrow a cup of sugar and puckers his lips, but Emma slaps him instead. Emma barks at Grant for coming over so late at night while she has her grandkids. Soon, a very heated debate over their feelings for one another ensues. Grant suggests they take all this tension to the bedroom, Emma slaps him again, and orders him out of her house. Once she's regained her composure, Emma calls Lisa and makes plans to meet with her tomorrow.

Andy goes to Memorial, in hopes of finding Susan or Emily. Instead, he runs into Bob who informs him that Chris has returned home. Bob wonders why Andy has been so distant lately and Andy explains the situation with John and Roxie. Bob's pager goes off and he leaves. Susan walks up and informs him that Emily started packing her things earlier today to move back in with Andy but when she talked to her a while ago, she seemed very upset and said she was going to take care of Roxie once and for all, isnetad of just going to bed like Susan suggested.

Emily rounds the corner of the jail and it's apparent that Emily has been there a while, talking with Roxie. Just as it seems things may become violent, Jack comes in and tells Emily that she's already breaking the rules by being here so late and asks her to wrap things up. Roxie snickers, thinking she has the last laugh, but in fact, Emily does...as she assures Roxie that the new cover of The Intuder will be the icing on the cake. A panicked Roxie wants to know what Emily plans on writing, but according to Emily, her lips are sealed until the new issue hits newsstands. As Emily makes her departure from the police station...we see her crumble. Andy comes up behind her and begs Emily to come home.

Lily tries to calm an upset Maddie. An outraged and very emotional Luke storms through the door and tells Maddie that he's taking her home now! After they leave, Holden excuses himself to go take a walk and clear his head....(and cry a little, but he doesn't tell Lily that). Holden scolds himself for raising his hand to Luke. Back at the house, the doorbell rings and Lily wonders who it is this late at night. As she opens the door, she finds Mike, who apologizes for the kiss with Lily. Lily takes all the blame for the kiss and the two friends reach an agreement that they are happy with the people they're with and nothing can change that. Meanwhile, we see Luke pull up at Maddie's. He offers to walk her in and "talk things out". As soon as they reach Maddie's bedroom, Luke leans in for a kiss. Which turns into a make-out session. Which leads to Luke ripping Maddie's clothes off as she begs him to stop.....but he doesn't.
  12. Actor87
Barbara calls Dana into her office and grills her, asking why she seems so interested in 1997 models. Dana says that she had a dear friend that died mysteriously at the same fashion show and to this day, she can't seem to quit investiagting. Barbara warns Dana that if this type of behavior continues, she will be fired. Later, Gwen comes across Dana, who acts very coldly towards her and Dana warns Gwen not to double cross her.

Henry & Katie return back to Oakdale. Lyla wonders what took them so long and Katie tells of their flight getting delayed time after time. Henry goes for a drink at Ice, leaving the two women alone to talk about Henry & Katie's unforgettable "second honeymoon".

Roxie demands to see her lawyer before she talks. Margo and Jack try their best to get any information from her, but she won't budge. Cass arrives and tells Jack and Margo that their interrogation has ended. Jack wonders how Roxie got such a high profile attorney as Cass. Meanwhile, John returns to lock-up and smirks at Margo. Margo goes to talk with her father, who insists that she try and talk her brother out of pressing charges, and then she finds out that John was just using Roxie to break up Andy and that slut Emily. Margo scolds her father and tells him that she will not be talking to Andy for him. That's something he'll have to do on his own.

Luke, Maddie, Lily, and Holden all sit down for dinner at the Snyder residence. Luke informs them all that Maddie is going away for college in the fall. Maddie asks Luke to let it go, but Luke ends up ruining the nice, quite family dinner when he makes a big scene about Maddie leaving him and his parents grounding him like a little school child. Holden orders Luke to join him outside, where the men have a very heated conversation. Holden's temper gets the best of him and he raises his hand to Luke.
  13. Actor87
Jack and Margo survey the area by Memorial and get a call that Roxie just tried to use her grandmother's ATM card. Jack and Margo quickly arrive to the scene and re-arrest an emotional Roxie.

Meanwhile, Barbara asks Gwen again if she got the information that she requested. Gwen says she did and hands over all of Dana's recent activity. It seems Barbara wanted to know why Dana had been staying so long after work and Gwen admits that Dana seemed a bit weird when she found Gwen at her computer. Barbara looks over the pages and is shocked by what she sees.

Back at the Hughes home, Chris continues to say more than he should have. Bob notifies Chris that they only discovered that he had nearly lost his medical license, but nobody would every tell Ben why. Chris is outraged that they all went behind his back, especially his father and Ben. Chris screams out in rage and bolts out the door with Nancy right behind him.

At the Walsh residence, Lucinda grabs a glass of wine to help her relax after her strenuous day at Worldwide. However, Craig comes running in. Apparently the man who has been following him started tailing him again and Craig is downright petrified. Lucinda tries to calm his fears and basically, get rid of him, but when Craig looks out the window, there's no calming him down. Lucinda looks out the window and as she and Rico exchange glares, Rico knows she's ticked and he better stop while he's ahead. Lucinda nods as Rico flashes away.
  14. Actor87
Gwen makes up a story about her faulty computer and Dana, though still skeptical, apologizes for jumping on Gwen. Later, Gwen arrives at Barbara's office and locks the door behind her. Barbara looks up and asks Gwen if she got the information Barbara sent her after. Gwen nods yes.

Andy and Emily rush to the hospital and learn that John showed signs of a stroke when they were booking him. Both are relieved, however, when the tests come back and the readings are good. Emily wonders if all the stress from trying to keep them apart might have finally triggered something. Later, Jack arrives and informs everyone that apparently, John was faking it all to create a distraction so Roxie could flee. And so she has.

Luke returns to the Snyder home to find Lucinda and Lily arguing over Holden going on a business meeting. He furiously asks the two women why they continue to create such a hostile environment. Why can't they just get along? Lucinda leaves and Lily apologizes for him having to see that. She tells Luke that they have some alone time since Holden has taken the girls to go get ice cream. She asks him what's bothering him, but Luke won't tell.

Chris arrives home and finds Bob, Kim, and Nancy in peculiar moods. Nancy comes out and says that Ben talked to Chris's old boss. They know everything. Chris, in a panic, admits that he never meant to hurt anyone, which completely baffles Bob, Kim, and Nancy who realize that they must have missed a detail somewhere along the way.
  15. Actor87
Dana comes into the library to find her father perusing over some financial notes. He shoves it to the side when he realizes Dana wants to talk. She asks him why he has this absurd infatuation with two women who are well past their prime, telling her father that he could do so much better. Grant dismisses his daughter, who in turn, arrives for work at B.R.O. only to find Gwen on her computer. Dana asks Gwen what the hell she thinks she's doing.

Jack gets a call while at work. Though viewers don't know what the call said, Jack rushes home to find Carly packing, saying that she got the call too. Jack hates to see her leave, but is so happy about the phone call. Carly makes Jack promise her that he will get help with the kids and let them know that she's not abandoning them. Throughout all the chaos, Carly breaks down in Jack's arms. Jack tells her to hurry before she misses her flight and Carly kisses her G-Man goodbye. As soon as she does, it hits Jack and he thanks God that Rosanna has finally woken up!

Luke arrives at the bus station to find that Tom and Margo have already picked Maddie up. Still a little confused and nervous about the status of their relationship, Luke calls Maddie and asks her to meet him at Java. Once they both come face to face, Maddie tells Luke the hard news that she's been debating on telling him for a few days now. She's leaving in the summer to go to college in Maine.

Emily and Andy snuggle in the bed. Andy tells Emily that though she really hurt him, what they just did makes up for all of it. Emily apologizes again, saying that Andy grounds her and that's what she needs...that's what she has needed for quite some time now. Susan calls them and tells them to meet her at Memorial. It's urgent! They fear something is wrong with Daniel, but she tells them it's not Daniel. It's John.

A panicked Katie calls Lyla and wonders what she did wrong. Lyla assures Katie that Henry is just as confused as she is right now.
