Heres to hoping that AMC, B&B and GH increases. Also heres to hoping that Soaps have a better week.

I doubt that it will go up though because of the 4th of July holiday. dry.gif

I agree, it is almost pointless to wish shows, whether we like them or not, to have a bad week.

Daytime can not afford bad weeks.

When all shows are sinking, we need all shows to improve.

GOOD LUCK SOAPS!

Due to the July 4th holiday, all Daytime programs were coded as specials on Wednesday.

Additionally, Days and Passions were preempted on Thursday and Friday for Wimbledon, leaving only Monday and Tuesday in NBC's weekly average.

1.8 sucks some major assage, but it was a funky week, so I won't let it bring me down.

Well, that was predictable although part of me hoped Monday and Tuesday would fare better for Days. Oh well. Happens every year.

Not a good week for anyone really. I look forward to next week's numbers.

AMC did not gain but did not loose. They stayed at there new low 2.2. Great. dry.gif

YAY! GH went up .1

Ouch to PSSN. A 1.2

B&B stayed at 2.8? WTF

A Horrible week for All the Soaps

Days will get back to a 2.1 at least next week. This week has always been a week of bad numbers for Days with the holiday and the tennis preemptions. Every year it rebounds the following week so it's all good.

It's pretty sad to see that a 2.3 gets you 4th place. Things are just horrible for all soaps right now.

July 4th must be a shitty day for soaps - they all had horrible lows on that day. I guess that's normal from what I'm hearing though?

Ouch for Days! I expected bad numbers for all the soaps but was shocked to see Days below GL. Just....OUCH!! I wonder how they are going to do with this Colleen/Santo storyline. It really hasn't sparked my interest so far but maybe they can really bounce back. It is just sad to see this happening to a soap that was so strong at the end of last year.

Looks like the wonderful Branson Gwen sings crap did not help ATWT ratings, proving once again The Jen Landon hour does nothing for ATWT.

I wouldn't count on Santo/Colleen doing anything but dropping the ratings even more. Many viewers are finding the storyline beyond boring and the bad accents aren't helping things either.

WTF happened to Days on Mon and Tues to get those numbers? Even GL got in the 2.0's those days.

Despite its dip in quality, Y&R had been holding steady at 4.0, while many others are falling. Overall, another craptastic week for the soaps.

This year, last year they rose on the actual holiday day.

The week of July 4th is always horrible for DAYS/NBC, usually their worse week of the year. The tennis, etc...
