The pacing to the show concerning people leaving one place and arriving at another is way to fast.....Today for example before the opening credits we had Vicky & Victor at the Ranch, Victor hopping in his car and driving off, and Vicky running into the Den/Living Room all concerned .....Then after the opening credits Vicky is all of a sudden at Newman, and walking into Nikki's office to tell her what happened with Victor ..... How does Nick really expect to explain to Noah how Phyllis is knocked up with his sybling? Does he really expect Noah to understand and give him the time of day after that? Y&R couldn't have beat us over the head that Nick was the father any more if they tried. You had all those little fantasies that Phyllis had of Nick being the daddy. Phyllis saying out loud that she wanted Nick to be father. We all know that Nick was lying thru his teeth about wanting Jack to be the father. Not to mention, Lynn, Michelle, and Josh have made no secret that they want Nick & Phyllis. There are two things that Lynn can do to clean up this story: have it come out that Jack is really the father or end the possiblity of Nick and Phyllis ever being together and being a family with this child.
