Kathie Lee Gifford Anyone?

Elisabeth annoys me to no frickin' end. I wished Barbara, Bill, and Frons would have picked a smarter, more confrontational conservative! Or at least Erin Hershey-Presley!

If Debbie became more knowing of politics, then I would welcome her back with open arms(to replace Bitsy, of course). But something tells me that THE VIEW will be discussing a lot more entertainment when Rosie comes in September. I wanna see Debbie and Bitsy get into it. Catfight between the two dumbest VIEW co-hosts ever!

Assuming that getting married that means he won't cheat is a sad assessment. Just watch Oprah's Down Low Brothers special to figure THAT one out.

Elisa!@#$%^&*] is a control freak, conservative LOSER who is as insecure as the day is long. How dare she cast judgement. Stupid !@#$%^&*]. I find her repugnant, and most conservative types too, the way they love to keep everyone under control... they hate anything different.

JSF, if Tim and Bitsy ever divorce, I'll see if I can hook you two up. Then you can go off in your 1950s, white-bread Americana, rose-colored glasses heaven and leave everyone else to the real world.

Notice, Danni, I said for *some* people, this is true. And it's documented. And hell, it's been on national news broadcasts. My point is, no one knows if they'll be the next to end up as a statistic, so I agree with Bitsy--it's better to just stay faithful, 100 percent.

Oh, I know about Op's "down low" special, bell. And I know it doesn't necessarily mean he won't cheat. But it DOES mean he's not afraid to 'make it official.'

Who's talking about a piece of paper, World? I'm talking about "the ring!" That's the most important thing. Without it, her hand is cold and naked. :)

You know, Bree, I've always wondered why conservative comments are always considered 'old fashioned.' For instance, if everyone abstained from sex until marriage (and marriage was valued as I say it should be), then don't you think the AIDS epidemic would lose a whole heck of a lot of steam? Because I think that's just a fact. The trouble is, liberal politics and 'free love' and the things liberals attack us conservatives for are the things that are bringing this nation to its knees. But don't worry, with age comes wisdom, and I'm sure many liberals, on their deathbeds, will realize how wrong they were. :)

Well, swinging is something that's not as simple as finding a reason to sleep with someone else. It's really more complicated than that.

I do think it's all not as simplified as news broadcasts make it out to be. Yes, people should remain faithful, but if Bitsy thinks that her hubby doesn't look at other women, she's as dumb as a bag of rocks. It's human nature.

Well, I have to believe that when Elizabeth said "look," she meant it in the general sense. Obviously, EVERYONE 'looks' at other people, regardless of attraction. "Looking" at other people is a requirement to live life, unless of course you are visually impaired. No, I think she meant "looking" at other women in the sense that he looks at them and immediately visualizes screwing them and feeding them sack lunches -- which of course, then gives way to porn, nastier porn and acting out sexual fantasies with other women.

Not really. If he's "looking" at other women with urges to [!@#$%^&*] them, then he's gonna go out to [!@#$%^&*] them, not watch porn. He's a football player, and there are loads of women out there who will certainly agree to [!@#$%^&*] him too. Elisabeth's not with him 24/7, especially with football season. I think Elisabeth's rather deluded.

Methinks that you shouldn't take that cyberSeduction movie so seriously.

Now I am not Bree, but about the AIDS mention I had to comment. Being married does not protect against HIV/AIDS. Lots of married women have been exposed to the virus because of husbands who cheat or are on the down low.

I am a liberal who thinks that porn can destabilize relationships when it becomes obsessive. I also think it is immature to think that even in the most committed and connected realtionship that both parties do not admire the beauty of others. The road to most adultery stems from unhappiness in the marriage and secrets.

I also think that to argue that just because a couple is not married that their relationship has less value is demeaning.

I wish the View had picked a conservative with the intelligence to keep the round table going. Elizabeth just stops most discussions cold. She comes accross as a phoney.

Quite frankly, I don't think it's anyone's business who we sleep with at the end of the day (except of course if they are minors, animals etc). What Kelly wants to do is up to her. What Elizabeth wants to do is up to her.

Just because someone passes around a Playboy or looks at porn doesn't mean that they will cheat on you. In fact, it can help a relationship. For Elizabeth to think otherwise is just crap. Be openminded. Don't knock it til you try it.

Hey JSF, I love this song about masturbation:

I’m not ashamed of the things that I dream

I find myself flirting with the verge of obscene

Into the unknown, I will be bold

I’m going to places I can be out of control

And I don’t want to explain tonight

All the things I’ve tried to hide

I shut myself out from the world so I

Can draw the blinds and I’ll teach myself to fly

I love myself

It’s not a sin

I can’t control what’s happenin’

‘Cause I just discovered

Imagination’s taking over

Another day without a lover

The more I come to understand

The touch of my hand

From the small of my back and the arch of my feet

Lately I’ve been noticin’ the beautiful me

I’m all in my skin and I’m not gonna wait

I’m into myself in the most precious way

And I don’t want to explain tonight

All the things I’ve tried to hide

I shut myself out from the world so I

Can draw the blinds and I’ll teach myself to fly

‘Cause I just discovered

Imagination’s taking over

Another day without a lover

The more I come to understand

The touch of my hand

There’s a world undefined

In my body and mind

I won’t be left behind

I’m already here

‘Cause I just discovered

Imagination’s taking over

Another day without a lover

The more I come to understand

The touch of my hand

‘Cause I just discovered

Imagination’s taking over

Another day without a lover

The more I come to understand

The touch of my hand

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
