Not sure how true this is, but this was posted at the OLTL message board at abc.com:

[EVE MCBAIN](Mid--Late 50's---Early 60's) Caucasian Female. Beautiful, elegant and sophisticated. Eve has two grown sons and was married to a highly decorated police officer who died in the line of duty. (RECURRING)

NOTE: This role is very demanding. Please submit only high caliber experienced actors.

Start date is still TBD.

Here is some more information on the casting call for "Britney". Now I know for sure that this one is real, it is listed at Showfax.com:

[bRITTNEY](13-15) Female. Beautiful and sexy. The "It" Girl. Brittney is the head of a posse of girls that all the boys want to date. (RECURRING) PROTYPE: The Movie "Mean Girls"

Start date is August 11th.

The casting sides are posted. She is like some snotty high school girl and she has a run in with Starr in Angel Square. She tells Starr that she is on her hit list because "you know that guy your dad just tried to choke to death? that's my father." She promises to make Starr's life miserable.

The last thing this show needs is another McBain.

My thoughts exactly.

Since the role is recurring, it'll likely be short-term probably till the end of the year when Nathaniel Marston(Michael) and Kathy Brier(Marcie) are rumored to be leaving, or maybe even before that.

I good actress like Helen Gallagher (ex-Maeve Ryan, RYAN's HOPE) would be good in the role. Other possiblities maybe Victoria Wyndham (ex-Rachel, AW), Michele Lee(ex-Karen MacKenzie, KNOTS) or Linda Gray (ex-Sue Ellen Ewing, DALLAS).

Michele Lee often does theater in NYC so she could be a possibility. I'd tune in for her or Helen Gallagher, but Gallagher was already on OLTL right?

When Claire Labine was at "One Life to Live", Helen Gallagher played Dorian's mother-in-law, who was a sex therapist I believe. I don't think that would really stop OLTL though, Crystal Chappell who was on the show in the mid-1990s was offered the role of Paige Miller by the executive producer. Gallagher will turn 80 next week so I think she's outside the age range for the role.

I'm actually glad they are bringing back Eve. With this Thomas McBain murder mystery going on for as long as it has it was necessary to bring her in. I hope Eve has a few scenes with Bo about Paige as Eve and Bo were getting chummy when Lisa Banes was playing the role.

(13-15) Female. Beautiful and sexy.

Anyone else find this mildly disturbing? Meh, I guess it's normal for casting calls, but really now, I don't know if "sexy" is really an appropriate key descriptor for a 13-year-old, lol.
