Its just what threw me with Jackie is she had been right about stuff before. I don't know what happend there, we probably never will know. Because as soon as she dropped those bombshells she went AWOL. Oh well.

There has been a gradual change at AMC lately. It just feels different, like there is new writing or a new vision or something. So maybe the winds of change are blowing, just slowly. I think the gameplan now is April when Megan's contract supposedly ends. I hope.

Has anyone heard of a position called story coordinator? I haven’t. But Y&R has one such person, and it’s Marina Alburger. And, is that a ”better” position than writers assistant? Because she held that position before and now the guy who was story coordinator is writers assistant and she became SC after being in the production staff...

I know what a script coordinator does, so is this a daytime version of such a job?

No, I don't think so. Because it was like this on the 9/11 episode. I think Beall wrote both and Beldner just edited as usual, since Beall has done both before. Even when she was listed as one of the BDWs she wrote a script from someone else's breakdown and her name was in both sections. So I think if Beldner wrote the breakdown, his name would've been above Beall's.

Thank you, RSinclair.

And about this thing I asked

... about WGA Awards about Sherman Magidson, who was also credited in the listings for the award, but no-one answered.

turns out he really is a (criminal law) lawyer and legal consultant for Y&R, his firm specialises in appeals and ligitation. I’m just surprised he’s credited for WGAA.

Recently added ATWT writer Gary Sunshine is gone from the credits today.

Replacing him is Mark St Germain. IMDB lists him as a writer on the Cosby Show among other prime time credits.

There is a playwright by that name, his credits are here:

Mark St Germain

We will see if he is short term like Sunshine.

Edited on 12/27/06

St.Germain was gone in today's credits so it was a one show thing. There were no other new writers listed.
