Better than the Michael Baldwin show we got last year. I am glad he is sorta in story transition right now. I like the character but hated how jack Smith shoved him and the Fishers down our throats last year. Especially after they made the story go in the direction they did with Sheila ugg.

You are NOT the only Jack fan around. I ADORE Jack. And it doesn't hurt that he's played by the best darn actor in daytime.. the INCOMPARABLE Peter Bergman.

How many Emmys has he won already? Three? Four?

Jack is on almost everyday but does it ever feel like we have Jack overload? Not to me and that is how Y&R stays on top, balance.

Jack is one of those characters that mixes between storylines and different characters so he can be on a lot and it not be Jack-centric like GH is Scummy-centric.

BTW a correction to your list...Patty Weaver (Gina) and Jerry Douglas (John) are on contract, not recurirng.

I ckecked; Peter Bergman has won 3 Emmys so far: 1991, 1992, 2002. Overall he has scored a freaking 13 nominations including one for his work on AMC in the 80s.

That's why Aunt Jackie is always a worthy number one. And it's a-MAY-zing to see Jeanne Cooper so high up. Jess Walton is also right behind but could still rank a little higher, IMO.

BTW: Isn't Kate Linder - wacko Esther - still listed among contract players although her appearances have decreased to nearly zero?

No I think Kate Linder is just recurring.

Kate was on contract there a few years back but I believe was taken off in late 2004 perhaps early 2005. We haven't seen her since January..... hopefully we will see her more in the summer.
