i've been hearing rumors that a current ABC actor is super unhappy at his soap and wants off pronto. Even though his contract isn't up and that ABC might oblige him by sending him to GH.

Any ideas who? Ive heard Thorsten kaye or Michael Easton. Oh, also heard Ian Buchanan. Anybody think there is credibility to this rumor? Or just someone blowing smoke.

I've heard the rumors about Michael and Thorsten both - except I don't think I've heard that Thorsten is SO unhappy that he wants out immediately and join GH.

The GH part I've heard about Michael.

Either way, I'd be sad if it were Thorsten - I have a feeling if it's true at all, it'd be Michael Easton.

Kelly Monaco in Port Charles is bad enough, but Michael Easton? I don't know if I could stand Caleb and Livvie on the same show as different (much worse) characters. I still say it was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge mistake not bringing her on as Livvie. They could easily gloss over the vampire thing and she'd be directly connected to Kevin and Lucy who we love! If the GH peeps were as interested in the old timers as they are now we could have Lucy, Kevin and Felicia around. :(

I have a feeling it's Michael Easton. I have read rumors for a while he might be heading for GH...he has been mentioned in SOD's casting/grapevine section... so yeah I think it's Michael

The rumors about Easton and Kaye being unhappy are strong. The only one that appears likely to happen is Easton leaving OLTL. Thorsten's contract is up in 2007 and I doubt AMC would let him out now.

I hope Thorsten Kaye changes his mind and gets happy because I love him as Zach on AMC.

Michael Easton can stay or go. I sometimes like him on OLTL (never have loved him on the show) and sometimes loathe him. If he moves to GH, I sure hope it's not as Stavros Cassadine, since he's too young and I he's not right for a Cassadine IMHO. Maybe John would leave Llanview and move to Port Charles and become Sam's new man or maybe Carly's (if Ingo were to leave).

The one about TK came from SID, which is why I'm not putting any stock in it, this is the same magazine that said Maurice Benard was going to Y&R and that it was confirmed. They also say that Vanessa Marcil is returning to GH and that "insiders" confirm it :rolleyes: TK will be around through his contract, they're not going to let him out of it that easily.

I'd say though that Michael Easton doesn't seem happy at OLTL, and I've heard about him not wanting to re-sign from some legitimate sources.

I read this in one of the soap opera magazines while standing in line.

Zach is not happy with the storyline, he's not too happy with the instant family thing. Micheal Easton may also go to GH and become connected with Helena Cassadine. Not sure what/who Zach will be playing if he's leaving at all. As for Dr. Madden, I can't remember what I read about that creep.

I think GH is about to get a bad case of McNostrilitis - damn why does Michael (possibly) have to come to GH? Ain't he smelling up OLTL enough already?

It's so ME. I mean, didn't his former web mistress post his emails to her online? He was talking about his dissatisfaction with the show in them, I hear.

Who can blame him? He's been given such lack lustre material to work with. I mean, I'm not a huge John fan, but I've gotta at least say that in his defence.

Too bad it's definitely not Maurice. :rolleyes: Ugh, if ME came to GH, I'd just about stop watching the show. The man is severely overrated, from what I saw of him on PC and OLTL.

Y&R can have MB if they want to see their credibility tumble and GH's improve. Wow, try to imagine a GH w/o MB! It'd be like heaven to me.
