Okay...some body gimme a recap. The last I saw....Kaysar/Janelle sat down to talk after Boogie won Veto. Howie came up and Janelle said she didnt want Will or Boogie to win, everybody was questioning her giving the goggles to Diane instead of Will or Boogie, and then Howie was saying "Woah! Hold up...you told ME you didn't want Erika or Diane to win the veto".....

LOL! So what happened after that?!

Janelle told everyone she was nominating Diane for selfish reasons because Diane is coming after her.

James freaked out. He told Danielle Janelle is a [!@#$%^&*] !@#$%^&*], a piece of [!@#$%^&*], and a liar. The alliance is off, in his eyes. He is starting the revolution against her. He said now everyone is out to get S6.

Marcellas is pissed at her.

Diane was nominated.

More from Jase:

So what do you think did you in this season?

Honestly, my deal was I hate Big Brother. I hated it the first time around. I hated it the second time around. It's a pretty good chunk of change if you can win it. I was like, ''F--- it. I hate it here” from day 1.

But yet you chose to go back.

If you get an All-Star bid, you gotta take that. But day 1, I was like, ''What the f—k am I doing back here?''

Not a fan of L.A. I take it?

L.A. sucks. The entertainment industry sucks. I hate L.A. The traffic sucks.

To say you're bitter would be an understatement and yet you told Julie last night that you're ready to go back in the house. Are you still?

I would go back if they would offer me a hell of a financial deal. No. No, they'd have to offer me half a million. Otherwise, I'm over it.

PS Will and Boogie hardcore bashing feed viewers, according to Joker's.

STFU Jase. Move on and go back to where you came from with that woman and her kid who are "the loves of my life!" **girly tear**

WTF is Janelle thinking? I honestly believe she's siding more with Chilltown than with S6.

I don't think she's smart enough to one-up Will and will end up getting screwed over.

Jase is just sore he didn't go farther. Waaah. No one gives a [!@#$%^&*] what you think Jase.

My thing with my girl Janelle is that she's isolating herself too much. She hides in the HoH room too much. I like her nominations but I just think it was a week too soon, and it is pushing James, Erika and Marcellas all away from her.

I think it'll be a crapshoot HoH. Like rolling a ball or hockey puck or key. I see George winning.

You said everything I wanted to say to a degree. Janelle HAS to get out and talk with everyone more besides Kaysar, Howie and Will. I think her noms were right on target. She has to play the game for her, not for James, Kaysar and Howie.

The game is about who should play the game the best. It could very well be her if she plays her cards right

I agree, King Reilly. It took me awhile to come around to this point of view, but I agree.

And screw James. It was only a matter of time that he would have to turn against S6 anyway. He's just pissed that Janie ruined HIS plan. Dude has "understandings" with everyone in the house except CG and he f'd up his deal with CT with the Jase nomination. He's afraid of them going after his butt. James, would you like some cheese to go with that whine?

Janelle's stupid to trust Will. If any of you think Will has Janelle's best interest your nuts. Will is the biggest liar in the game and will snap Janelle's neck when it's time.

Although, I don't like Janelle this season I think she'll be safe for a bit because Danielle & Erika/Diane won't want another girl evicted. They'll go after Kaysar/Howie.

Janelle never lets a lot of people get close to her, and she's always been a recluse. That's just how she is. I remember her mother saying last year in an episode, she is surprised she had gotten so close to Kaysar and Howie because she never lets people into her realm like that.

You go, Janey!!

I can't believe CBS wasted another minute on one of those supremely unfunny 'phone calls' between Boogie and Will. God, I want Mike out so bad.

I still think dumping Diane was smart on Janelle's part, but she should have played it more discreetly. Telling Howie to go after Diane and Erika wasn't a good move. Yes, James is untrustworthy, but getting caught in a lie just gives him an excuse to go after her and justify it.

However, since S6 is due to lose an HoH challenge, James is picking a good time to be "done" with them. OTOH, CT or a floater could go after him now without technically breaking any deals with S6.

By the way, I hate how people are sort of vilified for not being in S6 or Chilltown. You aren't in CT's two-person lame-fest so you're a "floater?"

Season 6 was never really united. They never had much of a strategy, some of them have side-deals, they rarely had a consensus on what to do when. Will may be taking advantage of that, but I'm not going to give him credit for every fracture in the house.

Basically. The floaters are A) individuals who arent playing the game and are just coasting through riding coattails and expecting to make it to the end and/or B) those that dont have a clear alliance and float back and forth between the groups without making a definite commitment. Based on this George, Danielle, Marcellas and Erika are definetly floaters. It isnt just bc they arent a part of CT. They try to be down with S6 but not really. S6 cant trust them bc they are playing both sides down the middle and are letting S6 do their dirty work so they can strike at them when the numbers are down. They arent stepping up to make their own moves bc going after CT or S6 puts them at risk

S6 was never a true alliance coming into the house. They were forced to work together bc the house grouped them together. If anything Kaysar, Janelle and Howie were closer with James the 4th man odd. If the 4 tried to seperate and not be together, people would think thats part of their strategy. In the beginning Kaysar was not hanging out with them much, instead spending more time with Erika. James was more with Danielle and Diane; Janelle was all about Marcellas and Howie was with Will. That didnt work and the house lumped them together. It helped that they kept winning HoHs which put them together even more, but no this was not a true alliance

Totally disagree. Danielle is a floater and she's not riding coattails. You can be a floater yet still play the game. Erika & Marcy etc may jump side to side but that's a part of the game by keeping yourself safe.

Season 6 so had an alliance before All Stars. Pretty much everyone made deals before the show.

um you didnt take into account the second part of my definition. Based on those 2, I think outside of CT and S6, Diane is the only one that isnt a floater. The people she wanted to allign with were Alison, Nakomis and Jase and tehy were all taken out within the first 3 weeks. She isnt with S6 or CT and is on her own now trying hard to win HoH and shake things up

But only S6 has won any HoHs so it's impossible to tell what sides they may be playing, really. Erika's a floater, that I'll grant. George, is he even playing? But Marcellas is not cozying up to Chilltown and Danielle seems to be in with CT, and James, but not the other S6s.

I guess if Marcellas and Danielle are floaters, I say, "Float On!"

    • 6-6   Hmmmm. Not my favorite of the week. However, it showed the strength of Jazmen's script writing against RC's breakdown. And he's good enough to rise above almost all of RC's tics. Though I guess the real question would be would I have caught 'Carl' author thing if I had not heard it mentioned here?

I felt the stories moved and while there were situations, they weren't the slapsticky I would expect from a RC breakdown. Well-done, Jazmen.   I guess I liked it on a second viewing. I'm just sorry that outside of Bill's subplot and Chelesa's love life C plot, it did not continue the majority of the stories that were going on this week. I still liked what I got so I guess it was worth it for potential flow interruption. Though I have to note that Eva and Kat have been dancing around each other all week and since it is a by-product of the SilkPress storyline, I love how the story can be used separate from the main part of that plot, which kept this episode with a thread attached to the main stories of this week.   It has been a minute since I saw a situation where a character has to get into someone's room and it seems plausible. Of course, Kat has to use her family name. That said...those scenes did not seem implausible at all, but that could be my industry experience showing. Meanwhile, Eva and Tomas continue to grow closer. But even I had to side-eye when he finally declared his interest for Kat. Because it seem like he had been working hard to give mixed signals to Eva and Kat. And NOW he's devoted to Kat? And I am smh at Kat thinking Eva is the one who ran Laura off the road now. Just le sigh. BUT keeps their rivalry going if she accuses Eva and it turns out to be false. Eva will be looking for the payback. And she will be justified.   I know I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed the Doug/Vanessa/Joey scenes. I've mentioned it before, but of all the B stories, it was the only one that was given enough room to grow and had a build to it. And you could cut the tension in that room with a knife. Everyone gave a good performance. You could see the distance between Doug and Vanessa. And for all that drama...there still was more to play with the other shoe dropping of Doug finding out Vanessa and Joey slept together. Just juicy. Even if the end goal apparently seems to be money laundering.   Lord...Bill wasn't really even out of the hospital for an episode without having to go back in again, was he? lol. Good to see his separate story progressing.    Same for Chelesa and her love life. I'm not sure if Naomi is right. That said, I do like the cliffhanger of Mystery Woman being Bill's doctor. Not to mention Kat with the evidence.
    • Speaking of 1986, YT recommended me some 1986 episodes revolving around Kyle/Reva/Maeve/Fletcher/Cain. What struck me most about the episodes is Zimmer seems at a loss. This does not feel like Reva at all. Was Kyle always such an a-hole? Why was the pairing so popular? He's so unlikeable, and Malloy's theatrical acting does not help matters. Jay Hammer is extremely charming as Fletcher--did they ever try Reva and Fletcher? The real star of these episodes is Leslie Denniston. When she tells Kyle she wants a divorce, it's a fantastic scene and Denniston is putting in some great work while the stuff around her is just weird and off-putting.
    • The Day Of The Jackal author Frederick Forsyth dies
    • 6-5   Case in point...lol.   Kat and Jacob can soooo have a spinoff. Just watching her being adamant that Eva is up to no-good while Jacob continues to try to play straight man to the craziness continued to be a hoot to watch. And the sad part is that Kat is on the right trail, just following the wrong clues. Or worse coming to the wrong conclusion. All because of her dislike for Eva.    Meanwhile, Eva continued to make inroads. I know I have said this since the start of the show, but I love how for the most part, the writers write the characters in gray. Not completely white. Not completely black. Most of the characters have moments where they resonate with the audience and then have moments where they are unlikeable. Like technically, Eva should be a pariah. I like that she knows this, understands this, and still shows remorse and still tries to work to get back the lost trust. It makes her so rootable. And played by a star is a bonus.

It is also what makes the rivalry between Eva and Kat so much fun to watch. Also played by a star. Neither one is perfect really, but they are oh so watchable and a nice by-product of the SilkPress storyline.    Same for Anita. I love the regal coldness TT has given to the role. The sense of ruthlessness beneath the beautiful face. And yeah it can be a turn-off. And it's been nice to see a softer side to her throughout this story of her and her bandmates. She is far from perfect. She...is also NOT a doormat so it was great to watch her versus her bandmates this episode.    I like the run-in between NuTed and Nicole. I'm getting used to NuTed. And Nicole's presence has been a little too light for my liking. I can only assume that is to build to the next Nicole vs Silk Press Sheila confrontation which rumor has it will be another good one.    Speaking of which...LAURA IS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL!!!! Praise it be!!! And I thought it was so adorable that Nicole, Kat, and Mona were on hand to welcome her back. I liked that Laura has an open mind toward Eva (unlike her feelings toward SilkPress). Another layer to add to the Eva vs Kat rivalry.
    • Victoria Principal clearly stacked her Dallas coins real good. In the grand scheme of things, she was smart to walk away from Dallas when she did.
    • When Robert Calhoun became EP I thought GL was finally hitting its stride after some pretty rough years. Unfortunately the ratings during Robert Calhoun's run did not reflect the quality of the show.
    • There was a five week break between the last Friday episode and the Thursday episodes which were the final four episodes. I have a feeling the final four episodes were refilmed to wrap up the storylines.
    • Yes, I forgot there was a gap between his exit from GL and his start at ATWT. This almost makes me want to cry. He really turned ATWT around (and good for them). It would have been great if someone had done the same for GL. Can't imagine who. The Dobsons were doing Santa Barbara at this point. I mainly blame Kobe. She may not have been the worst EP they ever had, but she almost totally destroyed the Bauers and decimated much of the rest of the cast, sometimes for egotistical reasons. That was a huge mistake and made it that much harder for the show to recover.
    • Douglas Marland began at As the World Turns in September 1985 but it took about a year for his run to show growth in the ratings. 1986 As the World Turns becomes CBS's #2 daytime drama after Y&R.
