I think Kenny and Doug’s deaths happened offscreen so the writers could gauge audience reaction and leave the door open for a return. At this point, I doubt Kenny is coming back, but I still think Joey could eventually reveal that Doug is alive and hidden somewhere. He’s the show’s anti-hero after all 🥰
As for Heather revealing to Joey that she’s the Impaler, my bad. I’ve downgraded the show to background noise and sometimes skip Joey’s scenes or watch them at 2x speed, so details slip past me. I remembered Joey telling Randy that Heather merely worked closely with the Impaler, but apparently he was just protecting her.
Either way, this is another example of the show’s overly layered writing. Very little actually happens, yet everything is so convoluted and interconnected that it’s hard to keep track of who knows what.
