Dear Members,

I wanted to let you know that with the introduction of Clubs as an add-on feature since an older version of our forum software, I've recently found that this feature might be something best utilized at the SON Community for posts generally found in the Love & Other Things forum.

Thus far, I've created clubs for Tamara Tunie and Joan Collins, with the latter already having a very active community of fans via the long-running The Joan Collins Fan Club thread, which at present has nearly 200 posts and more than 75,000 views in the more than 12 years since its creation.

The clubs feature can have multiple topics, polls, a dedicated page about the club and the person or show it's based upon, plus an overview of all activity in the club.

At present, while members can create their own club on any topic, I've chosen to allow all clubs created not to require an official membership, instead allowing all currently registered members at the SON Community post in its accompanying forum/threads, as already possible throughout the website.

My goal is to retire the Love & Other Things forum, as its post activity no longer warrants the space it occupies in the Discussion hierarchy.

Besides the Joan Collins thread, only the Tracy Quartermaine, Chandler Massey and Colton Little threads have retained some semblance of active discussion in the last six months. The aforementioned threads will soon have their own Fan Clubs, with the full Love & Other Things forum formally retired on July 1, 2026.

After the aforementioned date, members are advised to create a club on a subject that would normally fall under the Love & Other Things forum.

I was also wondering why there was a fan club when we already had the love forum, but you explained it.
