I don't think GH or FV are prepared to weather those TMZ headlines. When actors make major news like that he lets them go. Same with Haley Pullos, Tyler (who crashed out at DAYS instead and was not invited back) or Nathaniel Marston (well, twice). I think Kirsten is done for good, at least for a number of years unless she really cleans up her life. Which I hope she can. But I would write Maxie out quietly offscreen and I suspect that is exactly what will happen.

I would wait to recast, but not too long (and would probably not have a recast on contract or around a lot, for now anyway). But I would want to send the message to KS that she no longer has an easy return waiting for her til she focuses on getting real help.

Because the more the story runs on, the more like Peter August it has become all over again and I LOATHED Peter August (though mind you I liked Wes Ramsey...my crush on him in CHARMED is legend here at this point...though also mind you, I didn't like how he acted with fans on his way out of the door). I've been over this story and WSB Random Guy since Frank is clearly Frank-ing. Again.

Lol! I originally used it because the dress is so ugly and everyone made fun of it at the time. It looks like something is crawling up her arm and trying to eat her face. I've kept it all these years because it's a good picture of Brenda and also I am too lazy to change it lol.

Hehe. I agree. It did re: the dress. But now that time has passed, she really does look beautiful. But that's true of Vanessa period.

Also guilty. As much as I love Shannen Doherty, I have thought about an avatar (since I change it one every decade hehe), but too lazy. And it stays fitting.

What I wouldn’t give for Lexi Ainsworth to return as Kristina now that Kate is leaving. Really what was the point of firing Lexi just for Kate to play the role for three years and then bolt.

I am definitely curious to see what they do with Kristina as the only adult daughter of Sonny. No lie.

I know she's not everyone's cup of tea, but I like Kate Mansi. I just think the writing for her Kristina has failed her. It's been an all-over-the-place mess.

Until they have a better plan, I don't want Lexi back or any recast of the character. I can't see the need for this version of Kristina on the canvas.

Honestly as a big Mansi fan, the writing for her Kristina absolutely blew and she couldn’t salvage it no matter what. The wanting to steal her sister’s child and refusing to acknowledge that’s exactly what she was doing could not be saved by any actor as far as I’m concerned but there was definitely a level of smugness Kate added to it.

Again, I agree. But Frank just cannot or will not bring himself to let any actor go, no matter how...unnecessary they become. That's why we STILL live with the fear that Michael Easton or Roger Howarth (or both) will return AGAIN one day to play their, what, 6th role on this show?

Or find a way to keep Val front and center and relevant when he's not needed, but yes, very much THIS. Frank does not know when to let someone go. Moreso if they look good.

It was impossible to find an ounce of sympathy for the character. Hell even her blaming Ava for losing the baby when her dumb pregnant ass came to Ava’s room and tripped, just annoyed me. I don’t even know if the writers even understood how off putting they made the character.

I like Kate Mansi a lot. Kristina and the writing was never a right fit for her. I don't think she was smug necessarily, but almost delusional and Mansi can come off cold. Even her styling was very harsh.
